About the Role 

We are seeking a capable, motivated Operations Manager to lead on the effective running of our charity’s systems and operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring our work remains efficient, financially sustainable, and aligned with our strategic goals. 

Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Leadership Team, you will oversee the smooth functioning of our internal systems—including finance, CRM, IT, and communications—while supporting fundraising processes and continuous improvement across the organisation. 

This position will suit an organised, analytical, and values-driven professional who enjoys making systems work smarter and supporting teams to deliver impact. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Leading Our Operations: Accountable for the smooth operational running of our Operational, HR and Financial Systems, including Salesforce, and identifying operational risks that could affect the charity’s mission. Your proactive approach will help us stay on track and keep making a difference.

2. Supporting Our Fundraising: Work closely with other members of the Leadership Team to identify fundraising opportunities, support with bid writing, and take responsibility for individual giving, managing our fundraising CRM, Donorfy. 

3. Supporting Change: Accountable for managing transitional change programmes across the organisation in respect to operational processes and procedures. Help our team adapt to new processes and procedures by providing guidance, training, and resources.

4. Financial Oversight: Understand the revenues and expenses of the charity in order to promote operational efficiency while managing cashflow risks. Whilst this role doesn’t require advanced experience in accounting or bookkeeping, the holder will take responsibility for day-to-day finance processes, including invoicing, account reconciliation on our account software Xero, and monthly financial reporting, as well as working alongside our external accountant. 

5. Communications and IT Fluency: Oversee systems supporting communications and marketing, including our social media platforms and website, ensuring effective collaboration with our external partners.

About the role

The HR Business Delivery Partner will  play a key role in delivering proactive, people-focused HR support across the employee lifecycle—partnering with managers to embed best practice, drive organisational performance, and ensure compliance.

The role also leads on learning and development, HR systems, data insights, and line management of the HR Administrator.

About you

You are a confident and collaborative HR professional with a CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) and a strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. The Campus Accommodation and Hospitality Manager will lead a team of reception and housekeeping staff to deliver and administer a full range of campus services. As well as providing an efficient and welcoming reception service, this includes the management of meeting rooms, accommodation booking, achieving and maintaining high standards of housekeeping, and overseeing contracted catering and refreshment services. The postholder will be part of a committed staff team, giving and receiving support to deliver the operational needs of the Foundation in a way which reflects our ethos of hospitality, care and community. 

This is a full-time role, with some evening and weekend work during weekend residentials and other events. The postholder will also participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.

Key responsibilities

1. To manage the delivery of accommodation and hospitality operations.

• Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors from diverse backgrounds and denominations.

• Attend supporter or charity-organised fundraising events, always acting as a proud and

• Build and maintain relationships with key supporters, utilising the Fundraising Hub to 
communicate information about the impact of the charity and the changing fundraising 
needs.
• Maximise all opportunities with supporters and potential fundraisers, using persuasive

CRM:

Sales, Insights and Data:

• Monitor ticket inventory and introduce strategies for managing ticket holds.
• Provide up-to-date data analysis and reporting on marketing activities to help improve the effectiveness of campaigns.

• Manage our digital audience survey (Survey Monkey) and Arts Council data collection platform (Illuminate), collating and reporting on the results and evaluation of campaigns and audiences.

• Be jointly responsible for the accuracy of all marketing communications, maintaining the theatre brand at all times, and advocating for this across the organisation.

Administration and Events Officer

Salary: £29,564 per annum (pro rata)
Contract: Part-time (0.8 FTE), six-month fixed-term (with the possibility of extension)

As Administration and Events Officer, you will play a key role in supporting our client's operations and event delivery across the UK’s National Parks. You’ll help keep systems running smoothly, coordinate meetings and events, and provide administrative support to the wider team and the Management Board.

About the role
In this role, you will:

• Provide operational and administrative support to the Head of Operations, Management Board, and wider team.
• Manage CRM data, process invoices and expenses, and coordinate travel and meeting logistics.
• Support the planning and delivery of events — from venue research and supplier liaison to guestlist management and on-the-day coordination.
• Assist with Board administration, diary management, note-taking, and general operational communications.
• Contribute to smooth team operations by maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and excellent communication.

About you
You will be a self-starter with exceptional organisational and communication skills, experienced in supporting busy teams and coordinating events. You’ll be confident using Microsoft 365 and CRM systems, have strong attention to detail, and be comfortable working with sensitive information.

You’ll enjoy helping colleagues stay organised and effective, thrive in a remote working environment, and have a collaborative, flexible approach to your work. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required for occasional travel across the UK.

Development Manager

Purpose of the Role 

The Development Manager will play a vital role in expanding The Churchill Fellowship’s income from Trusts, Foundations, and other institutional funders. Working closely with the Development Director, the post holder will identify, cultivate and secure new funding partnerships that support our core Fellowship programme, unrestricted income, and the Activate Programme in line with our organisational priorities. 

The postholder will manage the full funder journey, from initial engagement to long-term stewardship, ensuring all relationships are grown and managed professionally and effectively. They will work closely with relevant departments to coordinate proposals, reports, and communications, helping maintain strong connections with funders.

Key responsibilities 

Prospecting and Pipeline Development 

• Research and identify new potential supporters, primarily from the Trusts & Foundations sector, with some engagement of aligned individuals or family-foundation prospects in conjunction with the wider Development Team.

• Support the Development Director in delivering targeted cultivation and engagement strategies to grow new income streams.

• Build and maintain a healthy, dynamic pipeline of qualified new business opportunities. 

• Monitor sector trends to identify emerging supporters and new partnership opportunities 

Approaches and Proposal Development 

• Prepare tailored, persuasive funding proposals, applications, and cases for support, drawing on internal expertise and materials. 

• Lead on initial engagement with new prospects, coordinating meetings, briefings and follow-up communications. 

• Manage the cultivation process ensuring prospects receive timely and professional engagement throughout. 

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals are accurate, evidence-based and aligned with organisational objectives.

Relationship Management 

• Act as the key contact for donors and funders secured through this role, managing relationships and ensuring continuity of communication. 

• Work closely with the Development Director, Appeal Director and CEO to coordinate senior-level involvement in funder engagement where appropriate. 

• Ensure accurate monitoring, evaluation and reporting for all grants, providing timely updates and impact information to funders. Liaise with colleagues across the organisation to identify when and how internal contacts or senior volunteers can support prospect engagement, ensuring this complements any existing relationships or approaches. 

Internal Collaboration and Systems 

• Record all activity in Salesforce, ensuring accurate data capture on all prospect and funder activity. 

• Contribute to income forecasting and team reporting

• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to align fundraising approaches with strategic initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and shared priorities. 

General 

• Ensure fundraising activity complies with relevant regulations, GDPR, and due diligence processes and ethical fundraising policies 

• Support Development team events and activities as required, occasionally outside normal working hours. 

• Undertake any other duties as reasonably required by the Development Director to support the success of the team and organisation. 

Person Specification

Qualification: 

• Degree level or equivalent transferable skills - Desirable

Skills and Experience 

• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a fundraising, grants or donor facing role, particularly prospecting new funders 
• Proven success in securing funding from Trusts & Foundations or HNWIs, particularly new business (one-off or multiyear grants and repeat grants) 
• Strong experience in research & prospect identification for trusts/foundations or major donors 
• Excellent proposal/application writing, with ability to tailor cases to funder priorities 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills — able to engage funders at senior levels and with colleagues internally 
• Strong organisational skills, managing multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously 
• Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and using it to manage pipeline / prospect data 
• Ability to interpret and present information (budgets, impact data, reports) clearly to funders and internal stakeholders 
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with senior staff, trustees and senior volunteers 
• Knowledge of fundraising regulations, due diligence and GDPR
