- Ensure Full Payment Submissions (FPS) within tight deadlines and process for all adaptations are carried out in a timely manner.
- Support relevant colleagues to ensure the correct payments, reports, and returns are made to HMRC, pension providers, and other bodies.
- Work in collaboration with functions within the organisation to ensure consistency of information and process.
- Ensure all data and reporting is updated in a timely manner across the relevant databases on a regular basis and fit the needs of the business.
In this role, you will report to the Payroll and Pensions Manager, working alongside the wider People and Culture team which includes the Generalist team, Talent Acquisition team, Workforce Development, and Talent Development team. - Experience in a similar role, taking on similar responsibilities in payroll capacity
- Experience in providing a high level of quality administration and customer support (internal or external customers)
- Knowledge and experience using a payroll systems is desirable
- Good understanding of HMRC requirements, including Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), statutory maternity and paternity pay
- Experience of providing a high level of numerical administration and communications, commensurate to the level of the role
- IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, competent knowledge in Microsoft, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability and willingness to attend regular visits to our different service locations

As our Events and Admin Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

This will include liaising with suppliers, venues, speakers, and sponsors; coordinating catering and logistics; supporting event promotion; and overseeing attendee communications and requirements.

- Meetings: Coordinating internal and external meetings, including diary management for the senior team and producing accurate records.

The Role
Join a co-operative providing British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreters and developing tech to support to users. The co-operative is co-run and co-owned by its members, who are Deaf people and BSL interpreters. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Operations Team Leader to provide a high quality and efficient service, helping the business to achieve agreed targets whilst working to the co-operative’s ethos.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the provision of communication professionals for Deaf/Hard of Hearing people across for medical (including mental health) appointments and for other work in a variety of sectors (education, child protection, conference, employment, legal settings etc)
- Accepting and making calls
- Dealing with bookings and general enquiries in a fast-paced environment
- Supporting marketing and business development and communicating to members and external stakeholders
- Supporting other staff where necessary
