Our client operates a Superannuation Society which his both an occupational pension scheme and a Friendly Society run by our client. The scheme has around 800 members including 164 active members and assets of around £115m.
The post holder will provide administrative support to ensure that the scheme is run as effectively as possible.
The post holder will have responsibility for maintaining various governance materials including the business plan, risk register, trustee policies, conflicts register, trustee training logs and other documents. In addition, the post holder will play a key role in preparing the Scheme’s Own Risk Assessment and assist with the production of the scheme report and accounts.

Our Canerows Programme delivers a ward visiting service at Springfield Hospital and community-based Peer Support.
Main purposes of the job:
Sound Minds is recruiting a Peer Support Worker to join our team in Wandsworth.
The Peer Support Transformation Project is funded by and delivered in partnership with South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust, Mushkil Aasaan, and Wandsworth Carers Centre. It is an integral part of Sound Minds’ Canerows programme; a user led service working to improve the lives of people who are overcoming mental health challenges.
This is a new role at Sound Minds, developed to provide proactive and responsive administrative support across the Peer Support project. The role will provide efficient administration, ensuring that clients on the wait list for peer support are contacted in a timely fashion, and that databases are well maintained.
The postholder will have a passion for maintaining organised systems, whilst also having a friendly approach, communicating with clients with care and empathy.
Salary: £26,936 per annum (pro rata) & 3% contribution to pension
Hours: 14 hours per week
This fixed term contract ends on 31 March 2027 and is renewable depending on funding.

This is a varied role where no two weeks look the same. You’ll support recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, volunteer governance, and small improvement projects — all with the guidance of our Head of Finance & Resources and an external HR advisor when needed.

About UKCISA
The UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) support international students and the institutions, students’ unions and organisations who work with them. Our mission is to ensure every international student has a positive, supportive and informed experience throughout their time in the UK.
We are a small team of around 20 permanent staff, working closely with a network of volunteers, trustees and member organisations. Despite our size, our impact is significant – we provide expert guidance, training, policy insight and a trusted advice line that helps shape the national conversation on international student experience.

What You’ll Be Doing
Recruitment & Onboarding

Support managers with scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates

Prepare offer letters, contracts and new starter packs

Carry out right‑to‑work and reference checks

Co‑ordinate induction plans and ensure new starters are set up on our systems

Provide admin support for recruitment of staff, trustees and committee members (We typically recruit around five roles per year, so this is steady but manageable.)
HR Administration – Employees

Keep personnel files accurate and up to date

Process changes such as hours, job titles, salary amendments and contract renewals

Draft routine HR letters (e.g., confirmations, probation outcomes)

Support the review and updating of HR policies

Manage the quarterly rota for our advice line
HR Administration – Volunteers

Maintain accurate records for trustees and committee members

Support governance admin such as registers of interest and suitability checks

Ensure compliance with Charity Commission and Companies House requirements

Work closely with the Head of Finance & Resources on governance tasks (Governance cycles are predictable and well‑supported.)
Attendance & Leave Management

Keep annual leave, sickness and other absence records up to date

Run leave reports and share them with managers ahead of the leave‑year end

Role Overview:
This is a new role. The HR Administrator will play a key role in supporting the HR function, ensuring efficient management of HR systems, accurate record-keeping, and smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and volunteers. This role also provides recruitment support, manages pre-employment checks, and assists with general HR administration.
Reporting to: People & Culture Manager
Hours of work: 15 hours per week. Open to candidates who can work 15 hours across three days.
