The Role

This Senior Research Fellow post offers the opportunity to join our team of researchers working to achieve PLP’s strategic objectives. This role will focus on ensuring that justice is accessible to all.

As a Senior Research Fellow, you will help us shape and deliver our research agenda. With support from PLP’s Research Director and colleagues across the organisation, you will develop and lead high-quality research. Your work will be central to our efforts to design and advance a fair and inclusive administrative law justice system and advocate for a better resourced and more effective system.

You will be a team player, who embodies PLP’s values and supports collegiate and inclusive working culture. Working closely with colleagues in casework, public affairs, communications, events and fundraising, you will bring a deep commitment to using research as a lever for change. You will use your expertise to represent PLP externally, collaborate effectively with external partners including people with lived experience and help advance our strategic priorities.

This is envisaged as a full-time role but we will consider part time arrangements for the right person.

The Community Energy Adviser will deliver energy support sessions in local communities, empowering individuals and families through workshops and one-to-one support. The focus will be on assisting those facing challenges with their energy needs by providing practical advice, support, and advocacy on energy conservation, switching providers, and accessing grants or benefits.

Full time- 35 hours a week

The hours for this role will be varied over shift patterns from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and may also include some Saturdays.

The role

In this role you will be:

· Planning and delivering engaging and informative energy support workshops within local communities, tailoring content to meet the diverse needs of attendees.

· Providing one-to-one support to individuals requiring more in-depth assistance, including conducting home energy assessments and offering tailored advice.

· Collaborating with local organisations and stakeholders to identify and reach out to communities and individuals who would benefit most from energy advice and support.

· Developing and distributing educational materials on energy saving, bill management, and the benefits of renewable energy sources.

· Tracking and evaluating the impact of community sessions and one-to-one interventions, adjusting strategies to improve outreach and support effectiveness.

· Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of energy sector developments, including changes in legislation, available grants, and best practices in energy conservation.

· You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written to be able to support communities and individuals who would benefit most from energy advice and support.

· You will be able to plan and deliver engaging and informative energy support workshops within local communities, tailoring content to meet the diverse needs of attendees.

· You will be able to show empathy and be able to respond positively to change while being able to deal effectively with conflicting priorities will allow to succeed within this role. The service will help customers through their unfair extra costs and additional vulnerability to fuel poverty.

· It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of IT including Microsoft Office Products

· You will bring drive and enthusiasm to your role and can demonstrate that you care passionately about improving the lives of disabled people and their families. It is desirable that you have a good knowledge of Energy and Utilities advice.

Purpose of the post

Main responsibilities

• Assist the Fundraising Manager with income-generation activity across the organisation.

Our partner, a leading international not for profit, seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead on the financial management of a complex multi-country & multi-grant project. This role will really be suited to someone interested in developing and strengthening systems and processes & providing financial oversight, whilst working with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial management oversight on the project, verifying project-specific transactions and ensuring that financial data is up-to-date; and ensuring adherence to the organisation’s financial policies.

The AI Opportunity Fund:

The AI Opportunity Fund, led by the Centre for Public Impact with support from Google . org, is currently a  €16 million initiative aimed at empowering underserved workers across Europe with essential AI skills. The programme has selected 73 organisations from hundreds of applications to provide tailored AI training to at least 20,000 workers across 24 European countries. These organisations focus on diverse communities, including rural job seekers, underemployed women, and public sector workers, aiming to bridge the digital divide and promote economic resilience. The initiative underscores AI's potential to drive social mobility and equitable growth across the continent. We are also hoping to scale our work in this area in the future. 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Grants Programme Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the AI Opportunity Fund. This role is responsible for the operational leadership of the programme, ensuring that it is planned and executed effectively on time, on budget and within scope. A key focus of the role is ensuring that the grant-giving component of the programme is designed and stewarded diligently.

This is a middle management role that is primarily operational with some elements of strategic leadership. CARIS Families is a small frontline charity that offers holistic support to families experiencing homelessness in hostels in the London Boroughs of Camden and Hackney.  Amongst our other services, we run play and learning activities for children aged 0-16 from within 4 hostels in these boroughs, as well as a school holiday day trip programme.  Our services for children aim to reduce the stress on children and parents of living in overcrowded, insecure accommodation, and to put back essential childhood experiences that homeless accommodation deprives children of.

The services we currently offer our families in hostels are:

- Kids Club: an after-school play club in term time for 0-16s, run from our dedicated play club in the basement of one family hostel in Camden.

- Enrichment Trips and Summer Programme: a series of day trips for groups of families from our 4 hostels in the school holidays.  We take part in exciting activities and visit interesting destinations round London and the South-East, to ease the pressures of being stuck in the hostel during the long school breaks.

- Essentials Bank: Our Essentials bank runs weekly in term-time from two of our hostels, offering families free hygiene products such as toiletries, nappies, washing powder etc. to ease the pressure on family finances at a difficult time.

- Family Support Work and Housing Casework: we offer holistic casework to support families to ease the stress of their situation, from working on finances to supporting employment searches, to assisting with legal cases and supporting them to navigate their housing case and move out of homelessness as soon as possible.

We are currently looking for an experienced Play and Community Worker to join our dedicated frontline Family Services team, delivering this vital support to around 100 children and their families each year.

Iswe is a social impact foundation dedicated to finding ways to put people at the heart of social and political decision-making to solve some of society’s greatest challenges. 

We are seeking a proactive, organised and values-driven Project Coordinator to support the delivery of the Global Citizens’ Assembly. This is a pivotal role, providing core operational and logistical support, enabling Iswe to deliver a high-quality, inclusive, and impactful Civic Assembly as part of the Global Citizens’ Assembly.

You will work closely with the Civic Assembly Delivery Manager and Programme Director, supporting work around governance, research, evaluation and partnerships.

The role holder may occasionally need to work unusually long hours or at inconvenient times (due to the international nature of this project, but we aim to keep this to a minimum). The period when this is most likely will be mid-January to mid-February 2026 (Wednesdays and Saturdays; exact dates to be confirmed).

Epic is looking for a Development Manager to support the activities of the UK Development Team to help us ‘make giving the norm’.

The Development Manager will work with the UK Director in our small team in the UK, as well as working closely with colleagues in Paris and Brussels.

Key Responsibilities :

With support from the UK Director, the Development Manager will work collaboratively with the Director and wider UK team and Development colleagues in Paris and Brussels to execute the fundraising strategy in the UK. The Development Manager is a key role in a small team, and will contribute new ideas, networks and results to help us meet our income targets and therefore create more positive impact for children and young people globally. 1. Business Development (65%)

• Maintain regular touchpoints with a subgroup of donors through activities such as sharing monitoring reports, organising project visits and volunteering opportunities in the UK, and scheduling regular calls and face to face meetings. 
• Act as the main point of contact for a subset of donors and answer their enquiries in a timely manner
• Craft and manage engagement opportunities such as UK events and webinars, including drinks, talks, breakfast events, and provide support to the organisation for the annual gala nights. Support will be provided for certain events by our in-house dedicated Events team.

3. Fundraising-related administration (15%)

• Manage donor-related administrative tasks, such as regular use of Epic’s CRM (Salesforce), donation forms, meeting preparation, minutes (where applicable), and 
• Process all donations, using Salesforce and related donation platforms, in a timely manner each month
• Liaise with international fund vehicles, such as Myriad USA, to ensure all international donation commitments are fulfilled. 

Position Requirements :

• Candidate must have the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Excellent level of English (both spoken and written) required
• Proficiency in French (written and spoken) highly desirable 
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales, fundraising or business development role, with demonstrable experience of securing 5- and 6-figure gifts
• Experience within the charity sector is desirable but not required
• Experience using software packages such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Canva and other applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to attend external events (including evening events) and comfortable networking with a variety of people across different communities
• Experience with a CRM is required and preferably some experience of using Salesforce 
• Strong self-discipline and project management skills
• Excellent organisational skills and a strong eye for detail

The Epic UK team is a small but dedicated team. The role requires flexibility and a start-up attitude. This is a full time, permanent position, based in the London office with the opportunity for two remote working days each week. This role reports to the UK Director and will involve closely working with Epic’s global development team, as well as with the Engagement, Programs, Marketing and Communications, and Operations teams.

• Position based in central London (Mayfair), UK (with option to work from home 2 days per week).

• Salary range: £35,000-£40,000 gross annual (depending on experience)
