Location: Central London
Contract: Temporary, until October 2026
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £19.81 per hour (+ holiday pay) (circa £36,200 salaried equivalent)
Start Date: ASAP

We are delighted to be supporting a London-based university in their search for a temporary Student Enrolment Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive higher education professional to play an impactful role supporting students at the start of their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end student enrolment process, including admissions-to-enrolment checks, registration, and status changes (e.g., deferrals, interruptions, withdrawals).
  • Maintain accurate student records on the student information system (SIS), ensuring data quality, completeness, and compliance with internal procedures.
  • Process and verify student documentation (e.g., ID, eligibility evidence, funding paperwork), escalating any missing or complex cases appropriately.
  • Respond to student, academic, and departmental queries by phone/email, providing clear guidance on registration, timetables, modules, and key deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Admissions, Finance, Student Support, academic departments) to resolve enrolment issues and ensure a smooth student journey.
  • Produce routine reports and updates for colleagues, supporting monitoring of enrolment activity, compliance checks, and service KPIs.
  • Schedule and support registry-related activities such as enrolment events, induction periods, and key points in the academic cycle.
  • Ensure processes align with relevant policies and data protection requirements, handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, suggesting process enhancements, and updating templates/guidance notes as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Registry/Student Services team, including filing, inbox management, and meeting coordination.

Key Requirements:

  • Recent, relevant experience in a similar role within a not-for-profit or charitable organisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach, with the capability to work both independently and in a team.

CVs will be reviewed on a rolling basis so early applications are strongly encouraged to avoid missing out. If you're interested, please apply ASAP with your CV in Word format.

At Prospectus, we are committed to supporting you throughout your application journey. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and do not discriminate based on age, gender, disability, race, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, or pregnancy/maternity.
