About This Job
This is an exciting training role in Army Cadet Headquarters responsible for social media output across the Army Cadets and Combined Cadet Force, though all platforms.
We are looking for an individual who is interested in social media output, audience analytics and content creation. Is up to date with the ever-changing social media landscape with the drive to ensure they’re constantly updated. To create content which works in increasing reach and achieving our engagement targets, with both current and new audiences, in both shortform video, still images and carousels according to the platforms where the content is hosted.
We are looking for someone to bring enthusiasm, personal credibility, discretion, and sensitivity to the process of establishing a distinct, charity focussed identity during this very exciting time for us.
This is a rewarding and flexible role. The position is a permanent full-time post (40 hours per week) based at Aldershot. The successful applicant will be required to travel occasionally. The starting annual salary for this post is £27,352.00.

Purpose of the Job
To strategically lead and manage our existing CYP services that range from being both clinical and non clinical (Mental Health Support Teams in Schools, Circle crisis prevention café for children and young people, Whole School Approach, Be Kind to Your Mind). About the Role:
As Victim Awareness Officer, you will be responsible for planning and delivering training and awareness raising activities in relation to victims of crime. The role will work closely and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley, Thames Valley Police, criminal justice agencies as well as other statutory agencies and third sector organisations across the Thames Valley.
You will lead on developing this new content for training as well as consulting with stakeholders on their training needs and mapping emerging areas where further input is required. As part of the role, you will be responsible for developing this range of training programmes and keeping training materials up to date. You will maximise the use of social media accounts for training, victim awareness and awareness of specific crime types including Sexual Violence and Modern Day Slavery. You will attend events and presentations to engage the local community and increase their knowledge on support for victims of crime. To assist delivery of your role you will recruit and support a cohort of trained volunteers to perform the roles of Criminal Justice Champions and Engagement Champions volunteers.
You will need to be able to work flexibly to accommodate the training requirements as well as experience of delivering presentations and structured training programmes and talks to a range of audiences. You will need to be IT literate and be effective with your communication.

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer (HRO) to join our dynamic team at ArtsEd. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and statutory regulations. The HRO will work closely with all members of the HR Team, Headteacher of the Day School and Sixth Form (DSSF) and with its staff. You will be the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR matters within the DSSF, but will be part of the wider HR team reporting to the Head of HR.
The HR team comprises the Head of HR and two other HR Officers. An up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice within an educational setting are essential, and the role will suit a diplomatic individual who can confidently support senior leaders on day-to-day issues, and who can be hands-on with the day-to-day tasks of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
The HR Officer will work in accordance with statutory compliance and the School’s KCSIE and ISI obligations:
- First point of contact for all DSSF HR related queries
- To work under the direction of the Head of HR in ensuring the Single Central Register (SCR) is accurate at all times.
- To support the Head of HR in conducting internal audits of the SCR and reporting any recommendations back to the Head of HR for consideration.

HR Department:
- To contribute to the development of HR procedures and practices through sharing experience and lessons learnt on current practice and by continually looking to make systems more effective and efficient.
- To contribute to the efficient functioning of the HR Department, by maintaining the office environment and systems to a high standard and actively contributing to the ongoing monitoring, review, and implementation of improvements to the unit’s administration processes.

- To be responsible for the processing of relevant paperwork for Maternity, Adoption, Paternity, and other types of leave. To attend Maternity meetings with staff to advise them on their obligations and entitlements. To advise managers and employees on policy/procedure/calculations.

Recruitment, On-Boarding and Leavers
- To collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs. Managing recruitment campaigns, including consulting recruitment managers, preparing job descriptions and job adverts, advertising vacancies, participating in interview panels and communicating results to shortlisted and unsuccessful candidates.
- To be responsible for updating the Single Central Register ensuring compliance with KCSIE guidance and maintain knowledge in this regard. Distribute, collate, and record all new starter information in line with Safer Recruitment in Education guidance including references and background checks.
- To be responsible for changes required for starters/ leavers, changes, and additions to pay (including changes in hours, additional payments and increments) by competing relevant paperwork and updating electronic HR systems (for example on HRIS Cascade) and employee files in a timely manner and with due regard to data protection requirements.

We are looking for a Programme Officer to support the delivery of the In2STEM Programme (formerly the In2science summer programme). You will support all stages of the programme including recruitment, planning, delivery, participant and volunteer management, and evaluation.

Duties and responsibilities:
The purpose of the Programme Officer role is to support the successful delivery of the In2STEM Programme. You will be responsible for recruitment, managing a caseload of students and volunteers (work experience hosts), and managing relationships with supporters and funders. You will also support the planning, delivery and evaluation of programme activities including training and inductions, placements, online workshops, competitions and celebration events.
Your specific duties will include:
Programme Delivery
- Managing a caseload of students and volunteers (work experience hosts) from application stage to successful completion of the programme, including recruitment, matching, onboarding, troubleshooting throughout the programme and evaluation.
- Creating and developing engaging communication materials about the programme including video presentations, posters/flyers, case studies and website text and images.
- Monitoring student and volunteer (work experience host) applications to ensure targets and milestones are met.
- Maintaining up to date records via the programme database and ensuring data protection.
- Managing relationships with existing donors and supporters and networking to develop new relationships with prospective donors and supporters.
- Organising online skills workshops and careers panels, recruiting and coordinating volunteer speakers and panellists.
- Planning and delivering in-person student inductions and celebration events.
Evaluation
- Evaluating programme activities, using student and volunteer evaluation data and staff insights.
- Supporting the creation and dissemination of case studies, working closely with the fundraising team to ensure funder requirements are met.
- Supporting team members to create evaluation and student data reports.

Person specification:
Essential:
- Experience working with one or more of the following groups: young people, teachers or school administrators, volunteers, universities or STEM professionals/employers.
- Knowledge and understanding of the STEM sector, including higher education, apprenticeships and STEM careers.
- An understanding of the social and economic barriers that prevent some young people accessing STEM careers and an ability to recognise the importance of diversity and inclusion in STEM.
- Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
- Experience planning and delivering training, events and workshops.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation skills and an ability to adapt to a range of audiences.
- Flexible and adaptable, with an ability to pick up new tasks quickly, showing resilience when faced with challenges.
- Experience delivering programmes or projects for young people.
- Knowledge, understanding or experience of programme or project evaluation.
Desirable:

Our Bank Welfare Officers will provide direct and impactful welfare support to RAF personnel and their immediate family on an ad hoc basis when a full-time member of the team is unavailable to do so.

· A proven track record of senior leadership in providing services to women experiencing violence and abuse, women in contact with the criminal justice system or similar social care or social justice services
· Exemplary relationship and networking skills, experience of developing and maintaining strong partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
· Thorough knowledge of safeguarding adults and child protection issues
· An excellent understanding of management and quality assurance processes and systems such as Women’s Aid accreditation framework.
· Experience of managing and working within budgets and of tendering/fundraising processes.
· Ability to lead by example, inspire and motivate teams and manage a complex workload.

- Provide ongoing support to volunteers
- When referrals are received, match the service user with the most appropriate volunteer while ensuring a high quality, timely and responsive service is provided
- Identify and attend relevant networks, publicise the Community Assistance Project, establish community links with all appropriate stakeholders and promote the service through a range of methods
- Promote and cascade information, including real-life examples of positive intervention through all available methods
- Maintain accurate and up to date records in the region utilising our case management system and other databases, to provide for the effective monitoring and evaluation of the project
- Support programme evaluation through surveys and questionnaires
- Make onward referrals internally or externally to provide a holistic support package for service users

Key Responsibilities
As a Building Safety Officer, you will oversee the delivery of property related safety servicing programmes ensuring that customers are safe, and that we meet and exceed our landlord statutory requirements.
You will ensure compliance with all current legislation relating to Building Safety (gas, fire, electrical, water hygiene, asbestos, lift) whilst having due regard to relevant codes of practice and best practice.
You will lead in the regular monitoring and analysis of statutory compliance performance and the production of statutory compliance related management reports as required.
You will provide compliance administration support to the Head of Asset Management & Development, monitor renewal dates for services and Instruct approved suppliers to undertake service visits when required where Hft holds responsibility of compliance.
You will also be responsible for maintaining Hft’s compliance systems and ensuring compliance certificates and Risk Assessments are completed and filed in Hft’s agreed location.
Who are you?
- You will have an awareness or experience of supported housing, ideally for people with learning disabilities
- You will have experience in housing management or Maintenance and/or Building Compliance, with a proven knowledge and experience in building safety and all aspects of H&S.
- You will have knowledge of social housing issues, equality and diversity, fire safety and understanding of Building Compliance
- You will have the ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines but maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- You will have excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ideal candidate will be based in Bristol or within commuting distance, and have a full UK driver's license with access to your own vehicle.
