Key Responsibilities:
1. To lead on running our employability training and Alumni Job Club.
2. To develop workshop structures and learning materials for these in close collaboration with the Development Director and ensure that participant feedback from earlier programmes is incorporated.
3. To line manage Development Job Coaches as needed.
4. To manage and deliver job search sessions.
5. To lease with Employability Lead when participants are ready to move over in In Work Support team.
6. To advertise project opportunities to autistic people throughout London and manage project recruitment and onboarding.
7. To ensure processes are in-place for each project to:- assess each participant’s individual skills and gather baseline data; ensure job matches are appropriate to the individual’s needs and aspirations; and that targets set are relevant and promote new skills and learning; acquire and complete necessary risk assessments to ensure safety of clients, staff and partners.
8. To oversee the set up and settling in of jobseekers into work placements, when needed. Providing support and training to employers where required; providing personalised on the job training to participants and employers as required and develop strategies and advise on reasonable adjustments.
9. To coach, train and help manage new project staff to support jobseekers and put in place monitoring protocols.
10. To ensure jobseekers are progressing towards their individual targets; understand protocols and interpret work culture correctly; understand the health & safety in the work environment and adopt appropriate workplace behaviour.
11. To ensure good working relationships are maintained with all employers/ work experience placements and that feedback is regularly sort from all stakeholders to help improve our service delivery and future opportunities.
12. As a key member of the Development Team to work closely with the Development Director to actively, engage with employers and external organisations to promote CareTrade and our job seekers and to pursue opportunities to work collaboratively.
13. To attend events, to market CareTrade to autistic jobseekers and to liaise with Disability Employment Advisors at JobCentre Plus, Disability Services teams, Social Workers and others to promote and support employment opportunities as needed.
14. To organise and promote social groups for jobseekers.
15. To collect data and use data analysis to help produce reports, internally, for funders and partners.
16. To help seek and apply for appropriate awards and grants when required.
17. To be a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and First Aider and complete regular training working alongside the Development Director to ensure the safety of participants and staff.
18. To complete relevant health and safety training and be a named fire marshal.

Our office is a short walk from King’s Cross station in London. For this role, we need someone to come into the office at least one day a week, on a Tuesday. A day where all of Income Generation come into the office. You can work remotely for the rest of the time. Equally, you may prefer to work from the office full-time. The focus in the team is on building partnerships with businesses, through commercial activity, fundraising or strategic support. Current corporate partnerships include several ‘charity of the year’ relationships, conferences and events, sponsorship, cause-related marketing partnerships, a supplier directory and a jobs board. As well as driving positive change for people affected by terminal illness and bereavement in the workplace, Compassionate Employers is an important income generation stream and ‘door-opener’ for Hospice UK.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION AND PURPOSE OF THE POST
The Finance and Resources Team is responsible for responsible for HI’s finances, general services and HR in the UK. It comprises the Chief Finance and Operating Officer, a Finance Officer and an Accounting Officer.
The main purpose of this post is:
- To ensure smooth and efficient running of the HI UK office, including office services, IT, internal communications and health & safety

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations
- Maintain the office facilities and environment to agreed service levels
- Act as primary point of contact with the landlord and all suppliers for the office space, proactively dealing with arising issues
- Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of office equipment and IT equipment for all staff and volunteers, and arrange their repair or replacement, in conjunction with the Finance Officer and the Accounting Officer, as need arises
- Act as principal contact person for HI UK’s IT infrastructure and support provider, helping colleagues to access IT support when required and developing and implementing the organisation’s IT strategy
- Manage budget lines associated with running of the office and participate in procurement, primarily of office and IT supplies, liaising with external suppliers.
- Act as designated Health & Safety Officer for the office, including ensuring Health & Safety policies are up to date and being adhered to
- Continually review systems in place within the office, make improvements where required, and communicate these to relevant people
Human Resources
- Provide administrative support and advice for the recruitment of staff, consultants and volunteers, including advertising, interviews, issue of contracts and inductions, liaising with the federation manager and recruitment teams when relevant
- Assist with other HR tasks, including managing staff and volunteer files, managing the HR information system, administrative support for payroll and contributing to updates of the staff handbook
- Support teams on volunteer recruitment, contracts, induction, support and training
- Maintain an up-to-date welcome kit for new starters and provide and coordinate induction training sessions
· Make sure that HR policies and internal processes are updated and well known by all the staff
- Provide support and advice to managers on HR matters, in collaboration with the Chief Finance and Operating Officer and the Chief Executive, including leave management, payroll, pension, changes in contracts or situation, flexible working and flexible hours, diversity and inclusion, potential conflict and interpretation of the Staff Handbook
Administrative support
- Provide administrative support to the Chief Executive, including diary management, preparing and servicing meetings and filing
- Organise and support meetings of the Board of Trustees, including room booking, diary management, preparation of papers, minute-taking and organising catering
- Maintain filing systems
- Deal with enquiries, calls and emails from the public, partners and other HI entities
- Support specific projects as needed
Other tasks
- Contribute to projects led by the Finance and Resources team and the HI UK whole team.

Galop, the UK’s LGBT+ anti-abuse charity, is seeking a Survivor Engagement Manager. Galop works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. We specialise in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, and other forms of abuse including honour-based abuse, forced marriage, and so-called conversion therapies. We are looking to recruit a Survivor Engagement Manager. This new role will lead the development of Galop’s approach to survivor engagement, ensuring that LGBT+ survivors are at the centre of all of our work. This role combines the need for a strategic outlook, alongside practical frontline skills in working with those who have experienced trauma. You will be experienced in managing complex projects that centre survivors and juggling competing priorities. You will be a team player who is able to work collaboratively across the organisation, including staff, volunteers and trustees, bringing people together to make change. Anti-oppression and a clear understanding power and power dynamics will be at the heart of your practice, designing processes, systems and projects with the most marginalised within our community in mind.

The Healthy Ageing Project will address specific challenges within the community, while actively promoting healthy ageing in practical and effective ways across our network.
We will focus on the strengths and expertise of our member groups to promote engagement with Ireland's unique music, dance, sport, language and culture.
We will work together with our members throughout this three-year journey. Together, we will develop, launch and promote a project geared towards improving health and wellbeing, reducing health inequality and providing strategic direction for national health programmes and policy recommendations for the Irish community.
