We are seeking a Social Media Manager to join our Communications and Marketing team. You will lead our social media strategy, manage our channels, and create compelling, story-led content that engages new and existing supporters and raises awareness of World Jewish Relief. You’ll oversee our online voice, working closely with colleagues across communications, fundraising, and programmes to ensure a consistent, authentic presence across all platforms.​

You will be responsible for:

• Planning, designing, editing and publishing engaging, exciting, on-brand content including posts, stories, videos, and graphics collaborating with the Creative team.
• Writing clear, emotive copy tailored for each platform and audience.
• Ensuring ethical storytelling practices that respect the dignity and rights of the people we work with.
• Iterating and delivering a social media strategy aligned with the World Jewish Relief’s mission, brand, and campaigns.
• Managing day-to-day activity across all current platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube) and support us to develop our presence outside of these platforms.
• Using analytics to track engagement, optimise content, and report on performance and growth, ensuring insights feed into our tactics moving forward.
• Working closely with Head of Marketing to support paid campaigns across digital channels and ensure they are aligned with organic activity.
• Working closely with the fundraising, Marketing & Communication teams to deliver integrated fundraising campaigns and events, aligned with campaign narratives but specific for social media audiences.
• Working closely with Programmers and Partners to ensure they understand what good content looks like so you can maximise across our channels.

You should have:

• Experience managing and growing social media channels for a brand, ideally a charity, NGO, or values-driven organisation.
• Strong content creation and editing skills (photography, video, and short-form editing) with experiencing creating content for a brand, with demonstrable results.
• Ability to create and tailor content for a variety of global audiences, and report on results.
• Confident using social media analytics and scheduling tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite).
• Understanding of ethical communications and safeguarding in international development contexts.
• Expertise using design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Creative thinker with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Outstanding copywriting skills for online audiences and strong understanding of the Jewish community

Operations & Finance Manager

STOP THE TRAFFIK prevents vulnerable communities from being recruited, trafficked, and exploited. Our targeted prevention efforts disrupt the criminal business of human trafficking, making it too high-risk and low-profit to be viable.

This role will sit within the Development Team to support the smooth and efficient operation of the charity. This role will assist in managing financial processes and lead on key people operations to maintain a transparent, inclusive, and positive working environment.

This position is ideal for someone seeking part-time work who holds previous experience working in a finance team, but is seeking a more diverse role that also includes opportunity to enhance operating systems, policies, and practices of the organisation for smooth running.

Finance Operations

· Oversee the Operations Officer to reconcile transactions, issue invoices, process payments, and file quarterly Gift Aid claims ensuring accuracy.

· Prepare regular budgets, cash flows, and clear financial reporting for the Senior Leadership Team to support data-driven decision-making.

· Manage STOP THE TRAFFIK’s bank accounts, ensuring the safe handling and ethical investment of reserves.

· Produce quarterly financial papers for the Board of Trustees and lead on the annual audit process, preparing all necessary documentation for external auditors.

· Liaise with the Oasis Finance Department who support STOP THE TRAFFIK to ensure smooth coordination of accounting processes and compliance with organisational standards.

People Operations

· Review organisational policies annually, ensuring they reflect current legislation and best practice, with support from the Operations Officer.

· Serve as the organisation’s Data Protection Officer (with access to pro-bono legal and data protection advisors).

· Oversee recruitment processes, supporting hiring managers to ensure equitable, transparent, and inclusive hiring practices.

· Coordinate quarterly team surveys, analyse feedback, and make recommendations to strengthen workplace culture and wellbeing.

· Maintain our network of pro-bono legal advisors and support staff in accessing timely advice on contracts or compliance matters.

· Manage the internal legal sign-off process and maintain clear records and documentation.

Note, this role will be supported by our parent company’s financial team who will continue to manage payroll, HR records, and sign-off all accounts.

About Eat Smart 

Eat Smart is a successful primary school educational programme born in the NE of England designed to inspire children and schools to reduce food waste and build sustainable food systems. We deliver engaging resources and learning experiences that empower schools and pupils to have more ownership of their kitchens/dinner halls, improve student wellbeing, and have increased environmental awareness.

Since 2018 Eat Smart has enabled 70 schools in North East England to rescue their food waste by over 25%, equivalent to saving 6,000 meals worth £13,000 per school, per year, and our expansion to other areas of the UK has already begun. With an ever-growing data set and credibility for school food waste prevention, we have increasing potential to affect school food policy and deliver food waste prevention interventions on a national level. 

As we expand our delivery across the UK, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Development Manager to lead the expansion via a franchise model, build partnerships, and oversee the operational excellence of our growing network.

This is a pivotal leadership role focused on scaling the Eat Smart model nationally. The postholder will drive growth by developing regional and national partnerships, securing funding streams, recruiting and onboarding delivery partners, and ensuring quality and impact across all Eat Smart schools and organisations.

Key Information

Asylum Justice is the only charity in Wales - and one of very few in the UK - providing free legal advice and representation to people seeking asylum, refugees, and other migrants who are excluded from legal aid. A social housing provider in the London area is looking for an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to support their legal disrepair, complaints and property inspection caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed inspections of residential properties in relation to disrepair, damp, mould, leaks and structural issues

• Produce clear technical reports, schedules of works and evidence for legal cases and pre-action protocol processes

The post holder will be responsible for carrying out capital and revenue works within the Councils housing portfolio. This will cover repair, maintenance and replacement of associated equipment relating to the relevant work stream.
 
This job will mainly deal with gas and water work streams. However, this role will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunity and alternative solutions to gas as a primary heat source, including identifying opportunity for other energy saving measures to help the Council meet its climate emergency aspirations.

Planned Works Surveyor – Social Housing (6-Month Contract)

A social housing provider in the London area is seeking an experienced Planned Works Surveyor to support the delivery of capital and improvement programmes across its housing stock.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out surveys on residential properties to assess planned maintenance, component replacements and upgrade requirements
• Prepare works specifications, schedules of rates and technical documentation
• Manage contractors, monitor progress and ensure works are completed to agreed standards

As our Finance Business Partner you will regularly support and advise UK team leaders and senior managers to review financial aspects of their financial performance and plans, working closely with People, Finance & IT, Policy and Campaigns, and parts of the international programmes directorates. 

• Regularly advise UK team leaders and senior manager to review financial aspects of their operational plans.

• Continue to develop the systematic forecasting process for departments and ensure robust 3 year financial plans are implemented 

• Support strategic decision making on long term financial plans and modelling, supporting WAUKs 10 year strategy 

• Develop enhanced self-service reporting relevant at budget holder and department level that supports optimal decision-making 

• Create efficient finance processes that best deliver the needs of the organisation

Requirements

To be successful, you will need: 

• Completed a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).

• Demonstrable innovative ability; using data and insight to inform recommendations for improvements to products, processes or activities. 

• Proven experience of using insight and analysis to provide trends, inform and drive business decisions.

The International Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing complex, high-risk financial operations related to our partner's international grantmaking and emergency relief support. This role combines financial leadership with flexibility and responsiveness to needs in volatile contexts, particularly for grassroots movements and activist groups globally - managing overseas financial transactions, handling multi-currency payments, managing exchange rate risks.

Key Responsibilities

Grant Finance Oversight

- Lead all financial processes for international grants: budgeting, transfers, reconciliations, reporting.
- Manage multi-currency payments into high-risk regions; ensure compliance, mitigate fraud/diversion risk.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial systems for expanding global operations.
- Be agile to respond quickly to humanitarian needs.

Risk & Compliance

Essential Experience & Knowledge
