About the role
This is a new role which will help to deliver a pilot strategy to grow long-term sustainable income by enhancing Breast Cancer Now’s on-the-ground presence locally.
Joining the relationship fundraising team and working closely with the high value partnerships team, this role is responsible for cultivating new long-term relationships and, in turn, driving fundraising income.
Uniquely, the post holder will help to implement a large-scale trial to further grow Tickled Pink, an award-winning partnership between Asda, Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel! which has raised over £100m. The goal is to grow both engagement and future income by directly supporting colleagues across Asda stores in their local area.
In addition, this role will establish and grow a portfolio of supporters in Bristol and the southwest by cultivating relationships with new and warm supporters including individuals, clubs, societies and local companies. It will also line manage a community fundraiser covering a patch in London and the southeast.
What’s special about this role is that you’ll be working alongside a supportive, innovative and fun team which has delivered continued growth in fundraising over the last five years.
The is the first time the charity has had a community fundraiser locally based in the southwest. It is one of five new roles being introduced as part of the pilot, and the goal is that they all become permanent.
About you
You’re a pro at cultivating long term relationships with a variety of new supporters to generate income, and have great community fundraising experience working with individuals, local companies and clubs and societies.
You’re proactive and can work in a flexible and agile way; perhaps you’ve helped to deliver successful pilots in the past. You’re solution focused and experienced in developing and delivering ideas to grow income and engagement in the short and long term.
With great communication skills, you’re a team player and love working independently as well as part of a large team with various stakeholders.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
This is a remote role, and the candidate will need to be based in Bristol or the surrounding area. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as to our offices in London and Cardiff.

We need a strong team-player and self-starter who can respond to all enquiries coming into the advice service and who knows when to seek further support, guidance, or information from the rest of the team.
Our advice and information manager, who works 3 days a week, will retain overall responsibility for the advice service provision, bringing the intelligence themes from the advice service to the wider training and advocacy work of Birthrights. You will be supported by the manager to respond and to confidentially record advice enquiries on two days a week, working directly with the advice and information manager and our Legal Lead on any more challenging enquiries that require a response beyond giving individual advice. For example, Birthrights might write directly to a Trust or raise themes from our advice work with the NMC or the Royal Colleges. You will coordinate your schedule with the existing Advice and Information Officer and Manager to ensure that two team members are available throughout the week, with overlap in working days for collaborative working and team meetings.
You will be an integral part of our team. We have a weekly advice team meeting and monthly team meetings. We use Microsoft Teams messaging and calls to support one another and to communicate throughout the day.

About the role
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Service Manager to lead our team at Birkenhead Street, a 31-bed hostel in Camden offering 24-hour supported accommodation to single adults. This is a unique opportunity to shape a service that puts people first, working in a trauma-informed and person-centred way.
What You’ll Be Doing
As Service Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the service, responsible for both strategic development and day-to-day operations. You’ll lead, motivate and support a dedicated team including a Deputy Manager, Project Workers, Duty and Night Staff, Cleaners, and locums. In addition to:
- Manage the service rota and ensure smooth operational delivery.
- Build strong partnerships with external agencies to enhance outcomes for residents.

- Continuously review and improve service delivery in line with St Mungo’s policies.

During the probation and training period you will be required to come into the office 2 days a week. We are currently trialling fortnightly office attendance, but this could be subject to change in future.

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager
Location: Based across 4 residential services based in Croydon (11 minute walk from East Croydon station) you will need to be able to travel between sites during the night shift to provide full managerial support. We're looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our residential service based in Croydon. You will support the Service Manager to provide leadership and line management to a team of Night Recovery Workers and Night Concierge which totals around 10. You will be present to ensure a quality service is delivered 24 hours a day, working closely with the day teams to ensure quality handovers.

About the role
This is a great opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Ealing. You will support the Service Manager in leading a service which provides a recovery focused service to adults with long term mental health challenges. You will support the team to deliver person centred support to improve the lives of our residents, for them to gain greater independence to move onto lower support accommodation. You will do this through providing direct leadership and line management to the team so they feel empowered to perform within their roles.
You will ensure a quality service is delivered in line with our contractual requirements, and will encourage the creation of a psychologically informed environment, which provides person centred support. Some of what the role includes:

For Us Too (Thanet, Canterbury and Swale) is a local parent driven charity providing information, support and family focused social events for children with disabilities and their families.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Manager to lead this local parent driven Charity.
You will be responsible for leading the team of Family support officers and volunteers with the varied activities that the Charity provides, particularly regarding our supporting education program and supporting families with guidance on all aspects of their child’s wellbeing.
If you have relevant knowledge and/or experience of working within the area of children with disabilities and families, have experience of leading a team, are well organised, flexible and able to work with a range of professional/external agencies we would like to hear from you.
The position requires an enhanced DBS disclosure and the ability to regularly travel around Kent with some evening and weekend work.
Main Duties and responsibilities
- To manage all operational activity of the charity according to the strategic direction provided by the CEO and Board of Trustees
- To be responsible for all aspects of staff management and supervision
- To be responsible for all aspects of external contract management and performance, including monitoring and reporting KPI outcomes to funding bodies
- To report to the CEO, providing reports and accurate, up to date information pertaining to contracts and new business
- To undertake all aspects of business development including identification of funding opportunities, bid-writing and tender submissions
- To work in partnership with charities ensuring co-ordination and co-operation in relation to contract delivery and performance
- To maintain existing and develop new partnerships with statutory, voluntary and private sector organisations for the benefit of disabled children, young people and their families
- To be responsible for updating and revising the charity’s Business Plan and fundraising Strategy, in accordance with the CEO’s and Board’s strategic direction
- To develop and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with the CEO’s strategic direction
- To undertake any other relevant duties within the overall scope of the role, as requested by the CEO and Board of Trustees.

Job Title: Deputy Service Manager
Location: Based across 4 residential services based in Croydon (11 minute walk from East Croydon station) you will need to be able to travel between sites to provide full managerial support. Access to own transport is ideal. Please note that unfortunately this service does not have step free access
Salary: £30,200
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday between 08:00 - 20:00, you will work within these hours, as well as some evenings and weekends hours to ensure 24 hour seamless service delivery alongside the team. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota.

About the role
We're looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our residential service based in Croydon. You will support the Service Manager to provide leadership and line management to a team of Recovery Workers, Engagement Workers, and other frontline care and support staff. You will be present to ensure a quality service is delivered 24 hours a day, working closely with the night teams to ensure quality handovers.
You will provide general leadership to the team so they feel empowered to be productive and perform well within their roles, supporting a service which focuses on Forensic Mental Health for 27 people across 4 sites in Croydon. The teams support our residents with person centred support to empower them to overcome their personal barriers with their mental health, and have greater independence and fulfilled living.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Line Management including providing support and guidance, conducting support and supervisions, and ensuring duties are carried out effectively
- Support with the operational delivery of the service
- Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed
- Property and Housing Management; ensuring the accommodation meets our requirements and is safe to live in
About you
We are seeking a passionate, driven and motivated individual to lead the service in a trauma informed and inclusive way. You will have knowledge around the Mental Health complexities that residents can face, and have a can-do attitude which can help empower the team to deliver their KPI's. We look for:
- Experience in working with people who have enduring mental health and complex backgrounds
- Ability to motivate and empower a team to achieve KPI's
- Ability to provide advice, guidance, and support to the team on all aspects of service delivery including resident related queries

The Role
As the Deputy Team Leader (Court Services), working alongside Team Leaders you will be responsible for the delivery of the Witness Service within your court/s (as mentioned above).

You will be responsible for general service administrative tasks within the courts, as well as inputting service data.
