We’re looking for a Communications and Campaigns Assistant to join our dynamic, high-performing team
In this role, you will directly support the advocacy, content, social media, website, marketing, and PR functions through excellent administrative and organisational skills, close attention to detail, and strong written communication. You will also work with the team to think creatively and help achieve our goals. By doing so, you’ll enable War Child to support even more of the world’s most vulnerable children.

About the role
You’ll lead an established and growing team responsible for delivering exceptional supporter care, accurate income processing and the high-quality fundraising compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role where strategic thinking meets operational delivery. You’ll manage people, processes, platforms and performance.
You’ll have ownership of our supporter care operations, from frontline response-handling to behind-the-scenes processes such as income processing and fundraising team fulfilment. About the Service
Housing First supports the most entrenched, excluded and hard to reach service users. It focuses on finding permanent housing as quickly as possible and then addressing the issues that have contributed to an individual’s homelessness. The Ruby Project, is a specialist Housing First programme supporting women who have experienced VAWG and other difficulties such as, substance misuse, experience of the criminal jusice system, having children removed from their care, mental and physical health issues etc.
‘I want someone who I can do nice things with, too, not someone who just talks about what has gone wrong, or drugs and other things……I think about those negatives all the time anyway and I want a worker who I can feel positive with, happy’ (service user supported by another Housing First Project).
About the Role
Accountabilities
- Provide a high-quality case work support and information service to victims/survivors who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence.
- Advocate on behalf of clients with external agencies where appropriate, including at the MARAC
- Provide Solution-focused casework interventions with women who have experienced VAWG and Multiple Disadvantage
- Provide emotional support using a trauma informed approach.
- Build and maintain supportive relationships with women.
- Contribute to the completion of outcomes reports and funding returns when required.
- Complete all documents when support work commences and keep up to date with any changing risks to or from the woman.
- Empower women to access benefits and services they need.
- Involve service users in the design, development, and delivery of the service.
- Engage with a wide range of professionals (some of whom may have very different approaches to problem solving) through a multi-agency approach, and advocate to agencies on behalf of the Project and its service users.
- Promote coordinated, joined-up service delivery for service users between violence against women services and drug and alcohol agencies, mental health, housing, health and legal agencies.

Job Overview
As the Advocacy Officer, you are responsible for building the profile, influence and credibility of IRC’s work with UK politicians, political parties and opinion formers on our humanitarian and development issues. You will be delivering our influence strategies and identifying strategic lobbying opportunities and enabling colleagues to exploit them fully through the use of innovative and creative tactics that help IRC stand out in a crowded arena. Major Responsibilities:

Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003. Each year, more than 200 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide or suicide or sudden death following domestic abuse. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after fatal domestic abuse.

Our recovery group work offers practical support and psychoeducation to support clients in their recovery journey from abuse and violence. This role will also involve providing group prevention support to LGBT young people focusing on identity, community and healthy relationships. These groups will be co facilitated and be run both online and in-person.
In this role, you will complete assessments for clients referred into group work and offer a space to clients to discuss their options for support. You will work collaboratively with other services to create networks and referral pathways through outreach. You will also be required contribute to the creation and refinement of Galop’s group work materials as well as ensuring all materials are kept up to date and in line with best practice recommendations.
You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while remaining boundaried and mindful of self-care. Your work will enable LGBT people to feel supported, heard and empowered in the face of abuse and violence.
You will work within Galop’s Advocacy and Support team supporting LGBT people facing abuse or violence. You will have an in depth understanding of groupwork facilitation and the spectrum of violence and abuse that LGBT people can face, including the causes, impact and barriers to accessing services. You will be skilled in assessing and navigating safeguarding concerns and have experience of working with both adult and children's safeguarding procedures.

About the Role
The Head of Rough Sleeping Services will lead our services in our centre based at 12 Adelaide Street. The core purpose of these services is to minimise the harm associated with rough sleeping and support people into treatment and accommodation options. Mental Wellbeing Manager
Job Summary:
The Mental Wellbeing Manager will lead Manor Gardens’ culturally competent, trauma-informed mental health work with young men aged 18–25 funded by City Bridge Foundation, and oversee our wider wellbeing programme, funded through other sources including individual giving. They will be responsible for delivering early intervention and therapeutic support for young men from Black and minoritised backgrounds and refugees and asylum seekers, while also managing the delivery of a broader programme of community wellbeing activities for adults.
The postholder will line-manage two Activities Workers and have oversight of a pool of sessional staff and volunteers delivering peer support, group activities, and therapeutic interventions. The Mental Health Nurse is a key member of our team, focused on delivering high-quality mental health services to young men in the community. Key Responsibilities:
1. City Bridge Mental Health Programme Delivery (50%)
· Ensure the effective delivery of therapeutic and early intervention support for young men aged 18–25, including one-to-one and group support.
· Oversee work delivered by sessional psychotherapeutic staff and ensure quality, safeguarding, and continuity.
· Facilitate or coordinate safe, inclusive peer support spaces in community settings.

· Oversee the accredited training of 16 young adults as Peer Mental Health Mentors (two cohorts) in partnership with CANDI and ensure additional training in safeguarding, cultural competency and equalities
· Provide 121 support to Peer Mental Health Mentors and ensure they access clinical supervision
3. Management of Wellbeing Team and Sessional Staff (20%)
· Line-manage two Activities Workers responsible for delivering adult wellbeing activities (e.g. gardening, yoga, ESOL, conversation cafés).
· Provide supervision, direction, and support to ensure delivery aligns with MGWT’s values and trauma-informed approach.
· Oversee a pool of sessional facilitators and volunteers, ensuring coordination, safeguarding, and quality of delivery.

4. Monitoring and Evaluation (10%)
