About the role
We are the UK’s largest independent non-profit investigative newsroom. Our reporting is published by media partners around the world and holds power to account across five areas: environment, health, big tech, dirty money and local power.
This role will initially focus on supporting two of those teams as they deliver journalism that drives real-world change. But it may also support work on new and emerging issues such as the rise of mis- and disinformation and how that affects UK communities. The two teams are:

Bureau Local: works with communities to uncover hidden stories in the UK. The Bureau Local team has reported on the exploitation of migrant workers, run a community-led project aimed at giving voice to the Trans+ community, and brought transparency to the family courts system through reporting and training.

Enablers: investigates the lawyers, accountants, and financial structures that allow dirty money to flow through the UK. Their work has prompted major regulatory investigations and legal action, challenging how corruption is facilitated at home and abroad..
Our fundraising
The Bureau is almost entirely funded through grants and donations – without our supporters, we couldn’t do what we do. Over recent years, we’ve grown to a team of 35 people with an annual income of £2.8m, backed by a committed network of trusts, foundations, and individuals.
This is an exciting time to join our fundraising team as we build on those strong relationships and explore new ways to diversify our income.
Role and Responsibilities
- Work with project leads to take their ideas and build a strong case for support, translating complex issues into powerful, accessible narratives for funders.
- Manage relationships with existing funders, ensuring timely reporting, effective stewardship and continued support.
- Research and develop a pipeline of new prospects.
- Write compelling proposals and applications to secure new grants.
- Collaborate with our other Fundraising Manager, who leads on environment, global health and big tech, and occasionally help in those areas.
- Potentially support projects to diversify our income, such as helping to grow our major donor programme.
- Work closely with colleagues across the Bureau - from reporters and impact producers to operations and finance – and play an active part in maintaining a collaborative, supportive workplace culture.
- Pitch in on a range of fundraising tasks, big and small, to keep the Bureau in the best position to deliver its journalism.

• Fundraising track record: 5+ years’ experience raising significant money for charities or non-profits, especially from foundations (HNW experience a bonus).

About the role
As our Digital CX Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of this transformation, using data to uncover insights, optimise user journeys, and drive conversion across our digital platforms. You’ll play a key role in our Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) programme and support initiatives across UX/UI, content, product innovation, and customer experience, including collaboration with our Medical and Retail directorates.

About you
You’ll have a strong background in digital analytics within a marketing or product environment, with extensive experience supporting CRO programmes and experimentation. You’ll be experienced at using tools like Google BigQuery, GA4, and SQL to interrogate data, uncover insights, and inform decision-making. Able to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations you'll be key to driving improvements across our digital journeys and helping us better serve our supporters.
You’ll be a curious, analytical thinker who thrives on solving problems and improving user experiences. You'll be able to bring:
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
- Strong knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and product analytics tools
- Experience with A/B testing, causal inference, and statistical significance
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker, Power BI)
- Ability to present and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for data storytelling

What skills will I need?
Significant experience of reporting and data analysis techniques and statistics gained in an organisation or agency, ideally with complex marketing and comms landscape.
Significant experience of using Power BI, familiar with creating advanced data models, data flows and DAX language, using outputs to make actionable dashboards and insights.
Relevant experience of manipulating a broad range of data sets for reporting needs or driving out insight (i.e. SQL, R, and Python)
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (experience in creating macros advantageous but not essential).
Experience of Google Analytics advantageous but not essential
Experience of leading and delivering projects with proven impact and demonstrating excellent project management and planning skills with ability to prioritise workload

About you
We are seeking an exceptional Investments Analyst to support the effective monitoring and reporting of CBF’s investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with our strategic financial objectives and broader mission.
Reporting to the Charities Technical & Strategic Finance Manager, this role would suit an enthusiastic finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for collaborating across teams. In addition, you will play a key role in developing impact measurement frameworks, including in relation to our Climate Action Strategy, and conduct due diligence reviews for social investment proposals.
You should also be able to demonstrate that you:
- are a fully qualified (CCAB or CIMA) accountant
- have relevant experience working in the charitable sector including working with larger charities with a minimum income of £30m, with investment portfolios of a minimum of £10m
- have practical knowledge of the Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) that you can apply
- have the ability to organise and prioritise a range of diverse data with a focus on problem solving.
Previous experience of supporting investment management activities is not a pre-requisite of this role – the ability to apply your analytical skills is what we are looking for!

This is a permanent contract role at 28 hours/week based in Guildhall, Central London. Flexible working arrangements are currently in place with a current requirement to attend the office 3 days per week pro-rata. Time can also be spent at the offices at Tower Bridge.

We need you to manage a small team of analysts/senior analysts delivering analysis and interpretation around the prevention of cancer. You'll provide sign off for project outputs and messaging to be used externally and within CRUK.
Further to this, you'll maintain and enhance links with CRUK teams, and with external partners and data providers. You'll also develop objectives and priorities for CRUK's prevention analysis workstream, in collaboration with colleagues.
Cancer Research UK's Cancer Intelligence (CI) team is part of our Evidence & Implementation (E&I) department within the Policy, Information and Communications directorate. The E&I department is integral in driving impact for people affected by cancer and improving patient outcomes by placing evidence at the heart of the charity's work. Through robust research, the department shapes and drives improvements to cancer policy and practice across prevention, early diagnosis, treatment, outcomes, inequalities, and innovation.
What will I be doing?
Managing the analysis and interpretation of statistical information related to cancer prevention, to inform the charity's policy, information and influencing functions
Ensuring insights are generated in a timely fashion
Overseeing delivery of analytical projects from development to completion
Line managing analysts/senior analysts, ensuring direct reports are coached and supported in their roles to deliver projects and seek out opportunities for learning and development
Project managing analysts/senior analysts matrix working on prevention and agreeing ways of working with their line manager(s)
Overseeing the development and quality assurance of prevention statistics messaging for external and/or internal use, taking responsibility for review and final sign-off. Contributing to sign-off on general statistics and press enquiries, meeting tight deadlines as needed.
Developing and maintaining knowledge of PIC's strategic priorities, contributing to ideas for data/analysis projects that align with our strategic priorities and/or evidence gaps.
Ensuring that statistical information is adapted/communicated for a range of audiences (including to non-statistical teams) as appropriate
Attending/chairing CRUK working groups and other appropriate forums to become a recognised expert within and beyond CRUK, and to obtain insights on emerging priorities shared by other teams and organisations
Compiling regular progress reports against project plans for key stakeholders, managing stakeholder engagement and communication and ensuring decisions can be made at key milestones.

We are recruiting for a Data Selections Executive* to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a fixed term contract until May 2026.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join the Supporter Selections Team at Alzheimer’s Society in what is a really exciting time for both the charity and the team. You will be joining the team as we further develop our selections by using insight, both in and post-campaign and highly relevant and individualised supporter experiences to drive our communications and improve supporter journeys.
As Data Selections Executive you will play an integral role in helping us achieve this alongside exploring new and improved ways of delivering our selections and supporter journeys, plus enhancing our processes through improvements to our systems.
You will be responsible for working with teams from across the Income & Engagement directorate to ensure the successful delivery of accurate and targeted selections to contribute to positive marketing activity and stewardship, plus the design and production of multi-stage supporter journeys through the use of PeopleStage, our campaign planning and management tool.
As an expert and a critical friend to Income & Engagement colleagues and stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in deepening our awareness of Alzheimer’s Society’s supporters, particularly concerning their next best action. About you
Joining us, you’ll have relevant experience in a data or marketing role with experience of using FastStats data selections software or similar. - Serve as a subject matter expert in digital analytics, delivering detailed campaign performance reports and actionable insights. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build consensus and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Utilise digital reporting dashboards such as Power BI and Looker Studio to effectively communicate key digital KPIs, enabling informed, strategic decisions across the organisation.
- Perform user experience analysis through usability testing and analytics tools to identify opportunities for improvement on the Christian Aid website, ensuring an optimised and impactful user journey.
- Design and implement robust A/B and multivariate testing strategies. Ensure thorough documentation, analysis, and dissemination of testing outcomes to promote a culture of learning, iteration, and continuous improvement
About you:
- Demonstrated expertise in digital analysis and insights, with a strong track record of producing data-driven reports and actionable recommendations across platforms such as Google Analytics 4, email marketing, social media, and META.
- Proven ability to optimise marketing, fundraising, and conversion strategies through comprehensive performance analysis.
- Highly proficient in statistical analysis techniques, including:
- Descriptive and comparative statistics
- A/B testing
- Data modelling to identify trends and support performance improvement
- Advanced knowledge of digital performance tools and frameworks, including:
- Google Analytics 4 (funnel analysis, segmentation, e-commerce tracking)
- Google Tag Manager
- Hotjar or ContentSquare
- Power BI
- Looker Studio
- Skilled in defining and managing tracking requirements, implementing tag management solutions, and integrating digital data with CRM systems.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with a strong learning mindset; able to work independently to:
- Identify performance gaps
- Develop innovative solutions
- Implement methods to improve user experience and increase conversions

The role combines both operational and administrative elements, contributing to work across project management, governance, and business development. It supports the planning, communication, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of a range of projects that align with the charity’s strategic goals.
