Risk & Compliance Business Partner

Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) the Risk & Compliance Business Partner is responsible for the oversight of the charity’s risk management and compliance frameworks. This role ensures that the organisation meets its legal, regulatory, and ethical obligations while supporting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Management

· Design and maintain a dynamic risk management framework aligned with strategic objectives.

· Maintain and update the organisational risk register, ensuring timely mitigation plans.

· Provide regular risk reports and assurance to the Board of Trustees and Executive Team.

· Lead risk assessments for new projects, partnerships, and research activities.

Compliance & Governance

Digital Business Analyst - FTC

You will ensure that Alzheimer’s Research UK’s digital channels, products, and services are not just functional, but are strategically aligned to drive our bold goals and deliver the objectives of the Digital, Data and Technology (DDT) transformation programme.

The post holder will act as the crucial link between internal and external stakeholders and the Digital and Technology delivery teams. They will translate high-level business needs into detailed, actionable technical requirements and user stories, ensuring feasibility, maximising project value, and guaranteeing that implemented solutions deliver an optimal supporter experience.

This is an 18-month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Elicitation and Scope Definition

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, prioritise, and document functional and non-functional requirements for priority DDT projects and product enhancements (across web, email and other digital channels as required).

· Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process mapping sessions to identify core business problems and opportunities for digital improvement.

· Ensure all requirements align with the overarching DDT architecture and digital principles being established.

Analysis, Feasibility, and Impact Assessment

· Conduct feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses for proposed digital changes, ensuring new solutions contribute to organisational goals for supporter experience, sustainability, and productivity (return on investment).

· Analyse current digital channel performance data and user behaviour (market research) to identify trends and inform decision-making, ensuring future-proofed and data-driven requirements.

· Simplify complex business and technical concepts, ensuring clarity for both executive leadership and the development team.

Documentation and Artefact Creation

· Translate high-level requirements into detailed documentation, including User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, wireframes, user flow diagrams, and process models for the Digital and Technology delivery teams.

· Produce clear, high-quality technical writing and documentation for project processes, system changes, and end-user guides, contributing to the team's knowledge base.

Quality Assurance and UAT Management

· Play a key role in the design and co-ordination of comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans to validate that all digital solutions and features meet documented business requirements and satisfy user needs.

· Support the implementation phase of priority DDT activities such as our web development project, acting as a point of consultation to resolve issues and validate new solutions (e.g. changes in software or platform compatibility).

· Contribute to system maintenance planning by documenting defects and change requests post-launch.

Communication and Bridge Building

· Serve as the primary communication bridge between the DDT Programme Manager and Digital, internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring project transparency.

· Facilitate project presentations and public introductions of new digital features to stakeholders and internal teams to secure project adoption and report on progress.

What we are looking for:

· Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or equivalent role, specifically within a digital, marketing, or technology environment.

· Expertise in using agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum) and developing core business analysis artefacts (User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Process Maps, BRDs).

The Training and Events Manager will form an essential part of the SLA team working to run a high quality, inspiring and engaging events and training to help us deliver on our mission to support members, so that more children and young people reach their full potential through the school library. You will lead on the organisation of our annual conference; develop and maintain a calendar of events and training for members and non-member audiences; and support the team with all event related administration and logistics.  Events at the SLA include member meet ups (in person and online), events in our branch network across 23 regions, professional development and training, and our SLA Awards ceremonies.

Purpose of the Job

The Health & Safety Officer will support and report to the Health & Safety Lead to ensure that The Felix Project maintains compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food safety legislation. This role is integral in maintaining a safe working environment across all Felix sites by assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of robust health and safety systems. The Officer will work proactively with staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture, support operational improvements, and deliver H&S-related training and engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Support the Health & Safety Lead: Assist in the day-to-day management of health and safety processes, ensuring that all activities comply with relevant legislation and internal policies.

· Risk Assessments: Support the creation, review, and regular update of risk assessments (RAs) and safe systems of work (SSOWs) across various sites, ensuring all potential hazards are identified and managed appropriately.

· Incident Reporting: Support the management of the reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, ensuring all reports are accurate, timely, and followed up with corrective actions where necessary.

· Training and Induction: Support the delivery of health and safety training programs, inductions, and toolbox talks for staff and volunteers. Maintain records of all training and ensure they are kept up to date.

The Donor Relations Officer will be responsible for crafting compelling, donor-centred communications that strengthen long-term relationships with partners and supporters, deepen engagement and inspire giving. One of the main areas of responsibility will be to produce proposals and reports for stakeholders, especially strategic partners and donors. ABOUT THE ROLE

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing critical, executive administrative support to enable the Executive Director and SteelWatch Leadership team to operate effectively. The Executive Assistant will be a vital team member, ensuring smooth operations across executive functions and key organisational processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

The role is focused on supporting the Executive Director and SteelWatch Leadership team on a number of tasks, not limited to:

Executive Support

• Stay up to date on ED priorities and tasks. Manage diaries, schedule appointments, set up meetings accordingly, adapting to priorities.
• Organise and book travel arrangements according to diary needs, ED needs, and internal policies.
• Arrange and prepare for meetings with external partners, allies, industry experts, donors and industry meetings, handling logistics (timing, location, travel, virtual arrangements) and ensuring advanced preparation where needed.

Location/remote working

• The position is fully remote with some occasional face-to-face time with colleagues, particularly the Executive Director and Operations Director.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure the College meets its legal and regulatory compliance requirements as an educational establishment and a charity.  The focus of the role is to be responsible, with the support of the Training Administration team, for all reporting to regulatory bodies in a timely manner to ensure the College meets the requirements of the Office for Students (OfS), The Open University (OU), Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI), UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA) and other regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities

The Role 

The Senior Finance and Operations Administrator is a critical, multi-functional role supporting the financial, operational and administrative systems of GGF UK. The role will report to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the Operations Manager on all operational tasks.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: 

• Strong track record of carrying out a range of relevant research projects, especially those involving community groups

• Experience of collaborating with others on research and evaluation projects

• Experience of developing and continuously improving tools and data for monitoring, evaluation, learning, development and impact assessment

• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in qualitative and quantitative

methods

• Clear communication skills and experience of sharing research and impact assessment data in clear, concise and easy-to-understand formats for presentations and reports

• Experience in training and developing people’s skills in research and impact assessment

• Experience of contributing to and developing an impact framework

• Accurate and evidence-driven with a passion for ensuring research and impact assessments are completed to a high quality 

• Knowledge of ethical research practices, safeguarding and power dynamics in the research process

• Experience in using a CRM system 

• Tenacious with a natural drive to push tasks through to completion and to the required standards of excellence

• Highly computer literate: proficient users of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Workspace, as well as being comfortable and keen to learn new technologies and use new tools

• Able to relate well to a range of stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds

• Highly organised and details-focussed

• Confident to take the initiative and solve problems pro-actively

• Self-starter, able to manage themselves and their time, juggling a variety of tasks and priorities

Working arrangements 

• Current members of the team are based across the UK, with some in London, Reading, Bristol, Manchester and Northern Ireland. Applicants must be able to travel to Bristol, Reading or London once a month for a Tuesday full team meeting. Given the nature of this role, we would also expect the applicant to carry out a reasonable amount of travel to both projects and partners across the UK.

We’re seeking a creative and organised individual to lead on communications and learning for our volunteer network. You’ll be responsible for developing engaging content, coordinating volunteer newsletters, and supporting the delivery of training and learning resources across a wide range of roles. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative approach to ensure volunteers feel informed, supported, and connected. We’re on the lookout for a Member Services Officer to join our team full‑time in the Midlands. It’s a role that mixes customer service, organisation and a bit of creativity:

• You’ll be answering member questions and making sure they feel supported.
• Keeping records neat and tidy (because details matter).
• Helping us spread the word with member communications and marketing.
• Pulling together reports that keep us on track.
• And you’ll get to help run our online events, bringing our community together.

• A natural communicator who enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life.
• Customer service experience - you’re proactive, solutions‑focused and not easily flustered.
• Comfortable with numbers: you’ll be handling membership fees and putting together basic financial reports.
• Organised, collaborative and good at juggling tasks.
• Tech‑savvy with CRM systems and office tools.
• Bonus points if you’ve worked with membership organisations before (but it’s not a deal‑breaker).

We have regular team meetings in the West Midlands so you'll need to be based within reasonable travelling distance. Ideally, too, you'll have a valid driving licence.
