Job description

Appropriate Adult's support children and vulnerable adults when they are detained in police custody. With the Southwark & Lambeth Appropriate Adult Service, you will be trained, supervised and supported to be an Appropriate Adult in Southwark & Lambeth police stations. We are there to ensure vulnerable detainees understand their rights, we safeguard their welfare and effective participation as well as ensuring they are treated fairly during this criminal justice process.
