Our external Adoption Panel Members play a vital role at PACT by carefully considering applications from those wishing to become adoptive parents. We are currently seeking an independent Adoption Panel Member who can also act in the capacity of Adoption Panel Vice Chair when required, to ensure our panel makes fair, informed recommendation outcomes to a high quality standard. Panel sessions are held online.
You will bring an understanding of the adoption process, gained from professional or personal experience, and will be competently skilled in chairing complex meetings. You’ll be capable of facilitating active participation and ensure the panel operates within a clear regulatory and policy framework.

Specific responsibilities
Assist in the delivery of specialist, trauma-informed support to adults and/or families living in refuge recognising the impact of domestic or sexual abuse, harm or violence, and responding with empathy, respect, and consistency.
Contribute to an environment where support is psychologically informed, compassionate, equitable, and grounded in integrity—where every individual feels safe, heard, and supported.
Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns in line with legislation and organisational policies, maintaining a trauma-informed, reporting concerns to your line manager without delay
Carry out Initial Contact Assessments, working alongside refuge or on call colleagues identifying together which support options best meet the individual's needs and preferences, prioritising need and risk
Support individuals to access refuge, including arranging transport if needed, offering a warm and respectful welcome, meeting immediate needs (e.g. donated clothing, food), and helping them settle into their accommodation.
Assist individuals in understanding and completing initial paperwork in a timely and supportive manner, including licence agreements, House Expectations, housing benefit claims, and service charge arrangements.
Undertake basic support activities, as requested by a Support Worker or senior colleague, in line with an individual’s support plan, needs assessment, risk assessment, safety plan and licence agreement/contract
Support individuals to maintain their licence/contract agreement through reflective, strengths-based conversations around any minor breaches, and escalating serious concerns to senior colleagues.
Keep Routes to Support updated with current refuge vacancies to support access and referrals
Facilitate opportunities for connection and community among residents, including inclusive evening and weekend communal activities.
Ensure contributions to records are factual, person-centred, accurate, timely, and confidential, using Cyfannol’s Case Management System and other internal records.
Encourage and support adults and children to have a voice within Cyfannol and the wider sector, for example by completing surveys, sharing feedback, and participating in relevant events
Assist in providing the organisation’s out of hours response:
- Respond to all out of hours phone calls from the Live Fear Free Helpline, other refuges or Tier 2 and 3 on call colleagues across Cyfannol ensuring effective communication and continuity of support across the team.
- Undertake assessments for refuges, with support from on-call colleagues, to make timely and safe decisions based on individual need and risk.
- Provide support to colleagues and residents in the event of an incident or emergency at another refuge, contributing to a coordinated and calm response.
- Liaise with 2nd and 3rd tier colleagues as needed, ensuring effective communication and continuity of support across the team.
- Complete handovers at the end of each shift, both face to face and via email, to ensure consistency, safety and shared understanding across the team.
Housing Management:
Contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming, clean, and calm refuge environment that supports wellbeing and dignity.
Carry out routine monitoring of CCTV and security systems to help maintain a secure setting for residents and staff.
Complete and record daily and weekly health and safety checks as directed by the Facilities Coordinator, ensuring refuge spaces meet required standards.
Ensure communal areas are safe and secure before the start of sleep-in shifts, creating a settled environment for the night.
Report repairs and maintenance issues promptly, liaising directly with landlords or housing associations, and involving the Facilities Coordinator when needed.
Provide access to contractors attending the building and monitor their presence to ensure safety and accountability.
Advise line manager of any needs relating to furnishings, equipment, or refuge infrastructure.
Monitor stock levels of consumables and first aid supplies, supporting the ordering process as needed.
Support Cyfannol’s carbon reduction goals by switching off lights and equipment not in use and promoting sustainable practices.
Ensure recycling and refuse are ready for collection on designated days, and support residents to engage with these routines.
Clean private bedrooms/flats between occupancies as promptly as possible to prepare for Routes to Support listings.
Wash and change bed linen, towels, cot bedding, and similar items between occupancies to maintain hygiene and comfort.
Clean communal areas when necessary to uphold standards and minimise health and safety risks, including monitoring residents’ recycling and refuse removal.
Facilitate ‘motivational cleaning’ activities with residents when appropriate, using a strengths-based and non-judgmental approach.
Liaise with community neighbours when necessary, seeking guidance from your line manager to ensure respectful and constructive communication

About the Programme
The Foundation has been awarded a £2.1m grant by the National Lottery Community Fund (NLCF) to deliver a pilot as part of it's Grant Holder Support programme. This pilot, Investing in the Power of Civil Society (IIPCS), will support up to 640 charities across the Northwest, Southwest of England and Yorkshire and Humber .
Delivered in partnership with eight organisations — IVAR, Groundwork UK and local trusts, CAST, The School for Social Entrepreneurs, NCVO, Voice4Change England, the AVOCADO Foundation and Access (advisory) — the pilot will offer diagnostic-led, tailored and relational support to help organisations strengthen their work.
Support will focus on resilience, environmental impact, readiness for AI and digital technology, enabling participating charities to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world. With a strong emphasis on equity and access, the pilot is designed to ensure organisations of all sizes and backgrounds can benefit.
We will be using a test-and-learn approach — trying out new ways of supporting charities, learning from what works and what doesn’t, and using those insights to improve future programmes. This approach will help shape NLCF’s future support for both grant holders and grant seekers, strengthen the Foundation and partners’ own development practice, and contribute to wider learning across the sector.
About the Role
As Relationship Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering this new, collaborative pilot programme. You’ll be the key point of contact for grant holders referred into the programme, guiding them through a diagnostic process, co-creating tailored development plans, and connecting them with the right support.
You’ll also work closely with National Lottery Community Fund Funding Officers, helping them make confident and effective referrals. Your work will ensure that learning from these relationships directly informs the future design of the programme and how the UK’s largest non-statutory community funder supports small charities.

The Role

Job Description
Job purpose: To lead and develop Remember A Charity’s marketing and communications programme, in line with our core mission of making legacy giving a social norm. Summary
EduSpots is an innovative, dynamic, and community-orientated UK and Ghanaian registered charity which connects, trains, and equips grassroots voluntary educators (named ‘Catalysts’) to drive community-led change through education spaces named ‘Spots’. Our vision is of a world in which communities unite to create the futures they want to see, through education.
Since 2016, through collaborating with over 400 local voluntary community educators and actors – named ‘Catalysts’ – who take a central leadership role in the development of the network, we have supported 50 communities in creating and running community-led and owned education spaces named ‘Spots’’. Together, we are developing a model for a community-led education space with accompanying network engagement that could have global relevance.
Our Ghana-based team creates collaborative learning opportunities through three leadership programmes for Catalysts which are increasingly facilitated by the EduSpots app: the Ignite, Catalyse and Inspire Mentoring Programmes. These enable the Catalysts to lead EduKidz (early years education), DigLit (digital literacy), EcoSTEM (STEM and environmental education) and Ignite Equity (gender equity) clubs for learners typically aged 3-16, alongside locally designed education projects, reaching over 10,000 learners of all ages annually.
We are in an exciting period of our development, having more than doubled our income, programme breadth and reach in the last two years, with a recent independent evaluation by Expectation State offering further evidence in support of our model’s outcomes. We have been recently selected for two accelerator programmes, who are supporting us as we consider the scaling potential of our model. About this role
The Global Head of Operations is a new role being introduced in 2026 with the core purpose of strengthening systems, processes and strategic delivery across both EduSpots Global and EduSpots Ghana, offering hands-on support to the CEO and wider staff across a range of areas.
In this senior role, you will work closely alongside the CEO, offering her the advice and skills needed to move EduSpots successfully through a complex period of growth in a challenging fundraising context, enabling more learners and Catalysts to participate in a unique community-led model of education, whilst sharing our practice more widely.
We are looking for an organised and empathetic strategic leader, ideally with strong or developing skills across project management, finance, HR and MEL skills and an ability to work independently in a fast moving work environment.
This role has the potential to grow into a Director of Global Operations or Deputy CEO role in time for outstanding candidates, and carries significant organisation-wide responsibility.
Candidates should hold a genuine passion for educational equity, a strong belief in the power of community-led models to transform lives at scale and a high level of flexibility in a fast-changing yet friendly and playful work environment.

Main duties and responsibilities
Systems
- Work with the CEO and staff to proactively strengthen systems and processes across the organisation, including monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks and operations.

- Work across the team to strengthen HR and performance management structures, informed by best practice and legal frameworks.
- Lead the recruitment of staff, consultants and volunteers in the UK (advertising roles, drafting contracts, contacting referees and completing all filing and administration relating to recruitment).

Essential Experience & Skills
● You have worked in a finance administrative role where you’ve managed multiple tasks and met deadlines.

THINK EQUAL is a global education initiative with a mission to ensure that Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) becomes a mandatory subject for all children in early years settings globally. The THINK EQUAL Programme has a global presence across six continents and has undergone three RCT trials in contexts as varied as Colombia, Botswana and Australia. There is a growing demand from other countries for the THINK EQUAL Programme and the organisation is now strengthening its team to be able to respond to this demand
Purpose of the Role
Working at the forefront of Think Equal’s mission to bring the ‘missing subject’ to the hearts and minds of children in the UK, the role of the UK Programmes Officer primary focus would be to ensure the successful delivery of the Think Equal programme across early years classrooms in the UK. Working within the dynamic Global Programmes team alongside dedicated UK-focused colleagues, this role is highly motivating, and requires great organisation and communication skills as well as an enthusiastic, solution-focused attitude. This may include providing support to the Business Development team regarding potential expansion of the programme into new areas.

Programme support

Support and coordinate the delivery of the Think Equal programme across UK projects. This includes:

Plan and deliver information sessions, training sessions, launch events and other activities engaging Think Equal practitioners, both online and in person.

Enrol new practitioners into the Think Equal training platform as they sign up to the programme.

Provide general administrative and research support to the Programmes Coordinator and other staff, representing the organisation as the first point of contact and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.

Process individual orders from schools and manage shipping requests on behalf of the staff team.

Support and communicate with TE classroom teachers and other key stakeholders - including nursery workers, primary teachers, primary heads and local authorities - to ensure fidelity and a high quality of implementation.

Job Purpose
Within the National Influencing & Networks team, the Digital Communications Officer is responsible for delivering core communications functions. The postholder will work directly with the Director of National Influencing and Networks to plan communications activity in line with organisational objectives, and to deliver planned, regular and ad-hoc outputs. They will also work closely with the Area Engagement and Partnerships Team. It is desirable for the postholder to bring innovative video editing and production expertise, along with strong digital content creation skills, to enhance Clinks’ communications reach and impact.
Duties and key responsibilities
· Contribute to the continued development of communications outputs of relevance to the voluntary sector working in criminal justice
· Deliver Clinks’ communications functions to ensure our work and the voluntary sector is promoted in an accurate and timely manner.
· Contribute to Clinks’ communications outputs through oversight of the organisational communications planner, supporting the development of timelines and executing as appropriate
· Responsible for publication and design of organisational policy reports, e-bulletins, newsletters, blog posts, ad-hoc publications and other relevant digital outputs
· Responsible for the collation and distribution of Clinks’ Light Lunch on a weekly basis as well as newsflashes, women’s network updates and art alliance updates
