This is an exciting opportunity to lead our social media team and help strategically shape the role of paid and organic social across Family Action’s channels, including those under the Relate brand. You will manage a team of two Social Media Executives and drive brand awareness, income generation and service marketing whilst also providing strategic insight around wider external engagement activity. 

Main Responsibilities (for details check the job description and person specification):

• Lead on the development and delivery of paid and organic social media activity across both Family Action and Relate brands.

• Refine Family Action’s social media strategy in line with key brand, income generation and service marketing objectives 

• Work with the Head of Digital Marketing and Senior Social Media Executive to develop a paid social and sales strategy to drive purchases of services and toolkits from Relate

• Lead on the development and delivery of sophisticated Meta and LinkedIn ad campaigns at each stage of the donation/purchase funnel ie. awareness, interest, conversion

• Line manage a team of two Social Media Executives responsible for the day to day management of both Relate and Family Action channels, and supporting local services and retail shops with their use of social media.

• Extensive experience of strategically managing and developing social media channels for a large organisation/group/brand.

• Significant experience of developing successful paid social media campaigns for a range of business objectives including to drive income generation 

• Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to write powerfully and succinctly for different objectives, audiences and channels.

• Excellent creative skills and the ability to recognise effective imagery, and stock photography and video.

• Experience of line management and/or mentoring a junior member of the team.

In this role, you will support a steering group of volunteer parents and carers who oversee the running of the Forums.  Your excellent organisational skills will ensure parents and carers have a voice at key local meetings, plus you will arrange monthly events for parents and carers such as workshops with key local decision-makers.  You will provide opportunities for parents and carers to develop their own networks of support through WhatsApp & social media, and oversee the publication of bi-annual newsletter. You will line-manage a Forum Administrator who will support you and the work of the Forums.

Role overview: 

A pivotal senior position within the Legacy and In Memory Fundraising team, this role works closely with the Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising to lead key fundraising initiatives and stewardship efforts. Responsibilities include overseeing recruitment, staff development, and performance management, as well as contributing to strategic planning and budget oversight. The role also leads the delivery of a multi-channel legacy marketing programme and ensures external suppliers meet agreed service levels. Overall purpose of the role

The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional communications to enhance Orbis UK's profile in both the UK and the Middle East. About the role

We are recruiting for an Assistant Shop Manager to join a busy and creative team in Hackney. You will join an exciting team and collaborate to build a group of volunteers from all walks of life, raising money to fund Crisis’ work ending homelessness. We are bold with a culture of continuous review and improvement, where we try new things, take risks, and sometimes fail. There will be numerous opportunities to improve our team’s effectiveness. Your voice will count!

We also work closely with local artists and universities. We’d love you to bring your own ideas, along with your experience of fashion, retail and current trends, to this role. You will have opportunities to build your own skills and career progression through training and development – many of our shop managers were promoted internally. You will be primarily based in the Hackney shop, but you may be required to travel to other shops within London 1 & 2 on a short-term basis.

The Corporate Partnerships Officer will join our recently established Philanthropy and Partnerships (P&P) team to help us develop and nurture a range of corporate and philanthropic relationships. Together, we will significantly increase our income in support of the world leading research, treatment, and care that takes place across our hospitals in areas such as: childhood cancer, rare diseases, neonatal and maternal health, children and young people’s mental health, and critical care. 

The Corporate Partnerships Officer will be responsible for account managing a portfolio of new and existing corporate accounts to deliver a sustainable income growth year on year. In addition, they will work closely with the Head of Corporate Partnerships and Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer to support the day-to-day management of high value strategic partnerships and the delivery of business development activities. They will also contribute to the wider strategic aims of the P&P team to significantly grow both philanthropic and corporate partnership income and impact over the next three years. 

The ideal candidate will have strong corporate account management and communication skills (both verbally and in writing) ideally gained within a fundraising or sales/business development environment. They will be a self-starter with an appetite to make unsolicited approaches to businesses and individuals, along with the ability to develop and grow lasting relationships with corporate partners.  They will have strong time management skills, a motivation to work towards and achieve targets, and an appreciation of working for the NHS.

We’re looking for an inspiring and inclusive leader with experience in visitor operations and land management to oversee the visitor facilities at RSPB Newport Wetlands on the Gwent Levels.

As Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering site objectives alongside a high-quality visitor experience. With over 70,000 visitors a year and a thriving membership recruitment operation, Newport Wetlands is a key site for connecting people with nature. You’ll lead and inspire a highly committed team of staff and volunteers to deliver excellence, therefore line management and leadership experience are essential for this role.

You will also work alongside a variety of colleagues from across the RSPB in a matrix structure, including (but not limited to) consultants within the Visitor Operations Team, health and safety, rural surveyors, ecology, fundraising, project management, communications and policy.

Newport Wetlands is a gateway site within the Living Levels landscape partnership, which is a strong and aligned partnership that is driving a range of ambitious initiatives across the Levels.

The successful candidate will be a capable manager who works well with a wide range of people and can collaborate effectively with partners at all levels. Your strong programme and people management skills will help the team achieve the best possible outcomes against our priorities.

You’ll lead work programmes and projects, so enthusiasm, initiative, and diplomacy are key. You’ll need to communicate your passion for nature to others and have a hands-on approach to solving practical challenges.

You’ll need experience of managing income and expenditure budgets and have a commercially minded approach to ensure that we deliver a great visitor experience and generate a profit. You’ll also need to be a good, clear communicator and have an eye for detail, be able to manage systems and processes to ensure that they are all legally, financially and organisationally compliant.

As Site Manager you will:

• Manage day to day operations for people, visitors, finance and legal compliance, habitats and species
• Inspire, lead and develop the dedicated team of staff and volunteers
• Be responsible for the review, update and implementation of the site business plan
• Act as the main point of contact for the local community, neighbours, and partner organisations in order maintain good relationships
• Enjoy the support of a very experienced local team, area manager, visitor operations consultants, ecologists, rural surveyor, safety advisor and other specialist RSPB staff.

*Track record of growing income and pipeline development in the performing arts, cultural, higher education or third sector, in the UK.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be involved in leading and co-ordinating the delivery of Crohn’s & Colitis UK’s research strategy including our programme of grants, and our work to support increased patient and public involvement in research.  They will work with the Director of Services & Evidence and Head of Evidence & Research to support the charity’s involvement with external research bodies and contribute to the leadership, planning and delivery of cross-team projects, helping to influence and meet our strategic objectives.

About You

We are looking for someone who has proven experience of delivering successful research funding and patient and public involvement research activities.  The successful candidate must be adept at establishing and maintaining effective relationships with external stakeholders and comfortable working with operational performance metrics, and implementing strategies and objectives for the organisation.  Ideally your background will be in health care or working in a medical charity and you’ll be educated to degree level or equivalent.  Given this role will involve managing and providing leadership to the Research team, prior management experience would be an advantage. Whilst not essential, a knowledge of the needs of people affected by Crohn’s and Colitis would be beneficial also.

Our Location

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be times when you will need to travel to events/conferences. You will be required to attend two Directorate days each year and occasional face-to-face meetings with your team or our partner agencies. In addition, the charity meets four times annually at its office in Hatfield (or a location in London) for its’ ‘All Staff Together’ days, at which attendance is mandatory.
