Role Title: Accommodation Support Officer
Base: 1 Role in Telford, 1 Role in Leamington Spa

Since 2003, YSS has been delivering rehabilitation and resettlement services to adults in the Criminal Justice System. In partnership with NACRO, YSS deliver accommodation services to those on a probation community order, or custodial license across Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, and Telford & Wrekin. Our accommodation services include prison pre and post release support
Our aim is to break-down the barriers to maintaining, or securing, suitable and settled accommodation, including difficulties accessing social housing or securing accommodation within the private rental sector due to having served a prison sentence, financial hurdles and/or a lack of knowledge/experience to navigate the housing market.
The Role:
As Accommodation Support Officer you will provide structured, tailored, one-to-one, rehabilitation and resettlement support to individuals on a custodial license and under supervision in the community. The support provided aims to help individuals overcome any barriers to obtaining and retaining secure and stable accommodation so that they can successfully reintegrate into society.
Your role will principally work with individuals managed in the relevant probation delivery units, offering a mixture of face to face and remote working. Your primary base will be determined by the area closest to where you reside and there will be an expectation that you travel to probation offices that you cover at agreed intervals. Mileage costs will be paid from your base to other offices.
There is an expectation for the team to also support delivery in other areas, within our service, according to need.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
· Support service users to sustain, maintain or break down barriers to accommodation.
· Carry out accommodation needs assessments.
· Record, monitor and review progress against individual and service objectives, to demonstrate impact and outcomes achieved.
· Enable and motivate service users to identify and achieve desired accommodation outcomes.
· Actively engage with service users to obtain feedback around decisions that affect them.
· Risk assess and take the necessary actions in respect of any activities/engagement undertaken with service users including personal safety, lone-working and safeguarding.
· Understand professional boundaries and ensure that your role and remit is made clear to all service users you engage with.
· Work collaboratively in multi-agency settings as required. This includes maintaining professional relationships and appropriate levels of confidentiality of information.
· Meet individual performance targets and contribute towards meeting team performance targets in respect of the service.
· Provide cover for other team members of the Accommodation Support Services Team.
· Maintain up to date records via relevant and appropriate systems within specified timeframes and produce reports as required.

The Diocese of Winchester and the Diocese of Portsmouth are partnering exclusively with Robertson Bell to recruit a Strategic Programmes Finance Officer on a permanent, part-time basis (28 hours). The Diocese of Winchester (WDBF) and the Diocese of Portsmouth (PDBF) support the Ministry in, and the mission of, Church of England parishes in Winchester and Portsmouth and surrounding areas.
Reporting into, and working closely with, the Strategic Programme Managers of both dioceses, you will take responsibility for providing specific financial reconciliations, monitoring and reporting against the Strategic Development Fund (SDF) and Diocesan Investment Programme (DIP) funding received by the Diocese of Winchester and the Diocese of Portsmouth from the Church of England (Archbishop’s Council).
A key aspect of the role will involve financial planning and modelling for future DIP bids. SDF/DIP funding is given for projects within the dioceses that help to achieve their strategic objectives. The role also involves some historic analysis to ensure expenditure is correctly coded to the right project from previous funding.
In this Strategic Programmes Finance Officer role, you will:
- Support the Strategic Programme Managers, liaising with the Finance Team, drafting, costing, and modelling of financial information for future funding/grant bids, ensuring cost recovery for overheads and staff time is included on all projects.
- Prepare regular financial reports for the Strategic Development Team and senior leadership on the financial progress and outcomes of spend to date, ensuring transparency and accountability of the funds received for the various SDF/DIP projects.
- Ensuring any transactions for overheads or contributions to core costs are recorded accurately for costs incurred by SDF/DIP or shared by the WDBF/PDBF.
- Providing information to the Finance Team regarding projects as part of month or year-end processes.
- Support with the preparation of financial reports to Church of England on the funding spend to date at required intervals.
- Review of spend to date on Xledger vs spend expected by SDT to includes comparisons for projects, spend against budget and reconciliations moving forwards.

Our Bank Welfare Officers will provide direct and impactful welfare support to RAF personnel and their immediate family on an ad hoc basis when a full-time member of the team is unavailable to do so.
As a trusted and confidential source of support, you will assist our service users with challenges they are facing, from mental ill-health, difficult relationships, domestic abuse, financial and cost-of-living concerns, resettlement, housing, childcare, equality issues, bereavement, military discharge or deployment and many more - no day will be the same, as such this is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within the Welfare sector.
Our intervention is provided with consent on a non-statutory basis, and you will work with and engage our service users to develop appropriate interventions for individual outcomes.
Our service is transitioning to become more accessible and inclusive, digital technology plays a key role in this, as such you may be asked to use digital technologies to complement and enhance processes and service user experience.

About you

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team. You will work alongside the other Finance Officer to ensure that Richmond Borough Mind’s financial administration operates in an efficient and timely manner.
Working with Sage50 Cloud Accounting, you will process supplier invoices, payments and expenses by setting up BACS payments, standing orders and direct debits as necessary. You will assist with monthly accounts; preparing monthly payroll information and processing month end schedules as requested.

2. Job Description
The Head of External Engagement is a key leadership post within the organisation. The role encompasses responsibility for the development and delivery of the organisation’s external activity, including profile, brand identity and stakeholder engagement (including the public), fundraising, and driving income generation in new areas, notably commercial partnerships. It also forms part of Sound and Music’s senior management team, who under the leadership of the Chief Executive are responsible for overseeing the organisation’s programme of activity, strategic development, external profile and a positive and productive organisational culture.
An experienced fundraiser and communicator, you will lead the external engagement team and support the delivery of its strategic and operational plans. The broad remit of the role means the successful candidate will be a strong and confident communicator who builds networks easily and prioritises exceptional stakeholder management and relationship development.

3. Key Responsibilities
Leadership and management
External leadership:
· Represent Sound and Music publicly, including through stakeholder and supporter events
· Work with the Head of Programmes to ensure Sound and Music’s advisory groups are meaningfully engaged
· Be the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead for Sound and Music
Internal leadership:
· Shared strategic responsibility and accountability for Sound and Music’s three core aims and their associated objectives, outcomes and outputs
· Shared accountability (with other senior management colleagues) for the successful delivery and implementation of the organisation’s Business Plan
· Lead the organisation’s External Engagements team. This team includes a Communications and Insights Manager and Fundraising Coordinator (both line managed by the Head of External Engagement) plus support from other Sound and Music team members
Development and fundraising
· Develop and support the Chief Executive on the overall business and development strategy for the organisation to ensure we meet fundraising targets (£200k in 2024-25) for annual programmes and major projects
· Develop an ambitious fundraising programme which builds our supporter base and individual funding streams, including individuals, major gifts and public funders
· Drive income growth by identifying and negotiating commercial partnerships and contribute to the development of an enhanced commercial mindset across the organisation
· Develop and cultivate the existing trusts and foundations pipeline
· Prepare documents and reports for key funders including Arts Council England
· Build and maintain positive and productive relationships with key funders, commercial organisations and stakeholders and cultivate existing relationships within the organisation
· Establish new income streams, for example, by maximising the intellectual property created within the organisation
· Engage the Board of Trustees and senior management team in fundraising activities and the ongoing strategy to optimise donor management and stewardship to develop a culture of fundraising across the organisation
· Maximise the opportunities provided by the new CRM system and contribute to the development of a data-led mindset across the organisation
Communications and campaigns
· Develop and lead the overall communications and reputation management strategy for varied stakeholders to ensure we increase our visibility and influence in the sector
· Support the Chief Executive to build the profile of our brand, drive the media messaging and oversee and power our content media campaigns
· Support the Chief Executive to build and maintain positive and productive relationships with government and culture and media opinion formers
Strategy and planning
· Work with the Chief Executive and other senior management team members to monitor, evaluate and review KPIs, strategies and activity so as to maximise Sound and Music’s impact. This includes reporting and presenting to the Board and externally to help build engagement and relationships in the sector and with funders
· Assess the reputational, financial, delivery and other risks associated with current and new projects and partnerships
· Empower, model, support and encourage cross-team working to realise the full income generating possibilities of projects
Finance and governance
· Contribute to creating and monitoring the overall organisation budget
· Work closely with the Chief Executive, Head of Programmes and Finance Manager to formulate financial strategy against specified budget areas, and to ensure that the programme activity is sufficiently resourced, planned and delivered to budget
· Ensure close monitoring of income and expenditure for relevant budget lines and contribute to senior management team financial planning and review
· Attend Board and Financial Subcommittee meetings to present and report impact on a quarterly basis
Special conditions of the post

Key responsibilities:
Administration
1. Calendar Management:
- Manage and coordinate the CEO’s schedule, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

2. Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.

Fundraising

- In conjunction with the CEO and fundraising team collate and compile funding applications and reports.

2. CRM and digital records
- Ensure finance and other colleagues are updated through agreed processes on fundraising income raised.
3. Donor Stewardship and Reporting
- Demonstrate to funders and donors the impact of their support on audiences and communities through the creation of compelling project reports. When necessary, provide evidence including showcasing outcomes, case studies and achievements to supporters.
- Prepare thank-you letters and donation receipts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Additionally, oversee the monitoring of reporting deadlines and requirements and donation reports in conjunction with the CEO and fundraising team as needed.
The successful candidate will have (essential criteria):
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Fundraising Officer or similar role, supporting C-level executives
- An enthusiasm for administration and/or fundraising
- Evidence of a proactive attitude to work and the ability to take the initiative

Job Title: Diocesan Surveyor

Are you an experienced surveyor looking for a varied and interesting role covering the expansive geographical area of all of London south of the Thames and all of Kent?
The Archdiocese comprises 175 parishes and 169 schools. Reporting to the Head of Diocesan Property, this role is pivotal in overseeing the professional aspects of the diocesan property portfolio, particularly the SE1 site.
In your role as Diocesan Surveyor, you will be responsible for;
- Ensure parish (and other diocesan) buildings are fit for purpose through planned and emergency maintenance works.
- Oversee the implementation and follow up of quinquennial surveys.
- Manage small capital works/expansion projects, ensuring planning permissions are sought and necessary sign-offs are achieved.
- Support the Head of Diocesan Property with projects relating to parish and other diocesan buildings.
- Recommend changes to meet current legislative requirements (e.g., disabled access).
- Keep the Head of Diocesan Property informed of proposed development, disposal, and/or acquisition opportunities.
- Meet with third parties, such as surveyors, architects, Local Authorities, to facilitate works.
In addition to the above you will also be responsible for SE1 Site Estate Management and your duties will include;
- Day-to-day management of utilities and security contracts for the SE1 site.
- Act as the day-to-day liaison for works agreed with Cathedral Architects.

ROLE PURPOSE
As our Executive Assistant (Maternity Cover, 0.8 FTE, Fixed term for 12 months), you will play a crucial role in developing and supporting our charity and strengthening our administration and governance. You will be providing flexible assistance primarily to our CEO, in the planning and delivery of their workload. You will also provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, Trustee Board and other structured groups which shape the charity’s strategy and activities, for example our Clinical Advisory Group. As such, you will have the opportunity to work with the entire Student Minds team and a variety of stakeholders across the health and higher education sectors.
Key responsibilities:
Chief Executive Officer assistance
- Email and calendar management: helping to prioritise demands, responding to correspondence on behalf of the CEO and following up with contacts post-meetings.
- Arrange meetings and itineraries and coordinate travel as required.
- Stakeholder management support: utilising CRM to maintain updated databases for organisational contacts; support with the completion of contracts and registering purchase orders with suppliers,where the CEO is the lead contact.
Meeting management
- Plan and coordinate relevant meetings to ensure they are purposeful and relevant. These will include Board meetings, Senior Leadership Team Meetings, Leadership Group meetings and any other general committee meetings.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for all meetings, arranging suitable meeting premises or software, preparing and circulating agendas and meeting papers in consultation with the relevant participants (e.g. Chair of the Board, CEO and Senior Leadership Team).
- Coordinate catering requirements and liaise with the finance team to make purchases.
- Take high-quality and accurate meeting minutes and circulate them for appropriate approval and sign-off.
- Ensure prompt follow-up with agreed action points and follow through with ongoing delivery of commitments.
Governance support
- Provide administrative support where applicable to meet the charity’s requirements with
- Companies House and the Charity Commission.
- Support with Trustee recruitment, induction and training.
- Support the charity’s continuous improvement and compliance using tools such as the Governance
- Code.
Senior Leadership Team coordination
- Support with coordinating multi-stakeholder meetings, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support members of the Senior Leadership Team or their guests with the use of our core systems and software (Google Workspace, Google Meet, Slack, Mural, Zoom).
- Process any travel expenses for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Manage charity records: provide historical reference by supporting procedures for the retention and disposal of records.
- Welcome guests and provide tours of facilities or support guests to use online meeting software where required.
Other duties
- Such other duties as may be reasonably prescribed by the organisation, appropriate to the grade and responsibilities of this post.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Client Services Team which operates within HBF’s vibrant, multi-disciplinary team. The duties of Client Services Administrator are two-fold 1) is to host our busy reception area and friendly waiting room; welcome clients and visiting professionals to the Helen Bamber Foundation and attend to any needs they might have and 2) to oversee the booking of appointments between clients and staff/volunteers across the organisation; liaising with third parties and clinicians in relation to Initial Assessments; booking and managing doctor’s diaries for our Medical Advisory Services and the booking of interpreters across the organisation. You will be at the heart of an exciting team of experts, working as the face of HBF and the first point of contact for both external and internal queries. With a fleet of minibuses specially adapted to assist people with mobility equipment or additional mobility needs, People to Places delivers high-quality services aimed at improving social inclusion and accessibility. In addition, we also provide Shopmobility services in Windsor and Maidenhead town centres, this service provides the loan of wheelchairs and mobility scooters to people with limited mobility, to help them shop and access leisure and commercial facilities within the area.
