Role overview:

As a Lead Assessor, you'll play a pivotal role in upholding the integrity of our AP scheme. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive assessment visits to units undergoing evaluation within the scheme. Working hand in hand with service user perspective assessors, you'll monitor all Headway AP core domains during onsite visits.

Key responsibilities:

• Review relevant documentation ahead of onsite visits.
• Collaborate with service user perspective assessors during visits, focusing on core domain monitoring.
• Facilitate post-visit debriefing meetings with assessors to ensure thorough discussion and alignment.
• Maintain open communication channels with the AP Manager to address any assessment-related queries or challenges.
• Prepare detailed assessment reports in collaboration with assessors, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Deliver finalised reports to the AP Manager and communicate outcomes to units undergoing assessment.

Flexibility and expectations:

This role offers flexibility, with the expectation of completing a minimum of 4 assessments within a year. This allows you to balance your professional commitments while making a meaningful impact within our AP scheme.

Hourly rate and expenses:

The hourly rate for this role is £20.00, covering administrative tasks pre and post-visit, visit duration, and travel time. Additionally, travel expenses will be covered.

Candidate profile:

• Hold a professional qualification (e.g., OT, SaLT, Nursing, Physio) with demonstrated experience in ABI.
• Exhibit unwavering objectivity and impartiality during assessments.
• Uphold strict confidentiality standards in handling sensitive information.
• Possess a solid understanding of key legislation and frameworks pertinent to ABI care provision.
• Able to review and analyse evidence thoroughly.

As our Director of Service Transformation, you will lead the exciting next phase of transforming our charity’s services to reach more disabled children, young people and their families. You will be responsible for sourcing and delivering contracts and partnerships essential for the charity’s sustainability by advancing our digital outreach and nurturing new partnerships and securing sustainable funds for innovative models of support. 

What you will be doing as the Director of Service Transformation:

• Lead and execute services strategies and plans that extend and transform the impact and financial sustainability of the charity’s services and support for disabled children, young people and their families. 
• Lead the design, development and sales of innovative new service models and the scaling of existing services.
• Work closely with the other executive directors and leadership team to achieve the generation of an annual financial surplus to reinvest in Kids. 
• Ensure the quality and safe delivery of all Kids’ services. 
• Ensure effective budget management underpins service development and delivery.  Ensure contracts and tenders are commercially negotiated and regularly monitored. Work with colleagues to identify and achieve necessary margins on contracts and projects for financial sustainability. 
• Inspire and lead a high performing services team; support colleagues to test, learn and adapt as the charity evolves and transforms its digital and in-person support offer.
• Be an inspiring, visible and collegiate leader and team player who works across team boundaries to help drive organisational change and nurture colleagues’ ability to perform at their best. 
• Model and lead effective communications with all colleagues that bring to life the charity’s values and behaviours. Support colleagues to ensure Diversity, Equity and Inclusion principles and practice are evidenced in service design and delivery. 
• Act as an ambassador for Kids on key platforms, carrying out media work as required; promote the charity’s products, services and work; and draw from services expertise to influence public policy and legislation relevant to disabled children and their families.

Job Title: Social Media Officer

Reporting to: Digital Marketing Manager

Location of work: Flexible. This post holder can be based in our London office or a hybrid approach working from home with office visits as required, we continue to seek to enable flexible and remote working. The role will involve some irregular travel throughout England and Scotland.

BACKGROUND

Magic Breakfast is a registered charity providing healthy breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn, and expert support to their schools. JOB PURPOSE

As part of the Brand and Marketing team, the Social Media Officer will lead on social media strategy for the organization, working closely with teams across Magic Breakfast to develop and diversify our presence on social media. Through innovative, compelling content creation the Social Media Officer will raise awareness of our work and the Magic Breakfast brand. The role's aims are to reach and engage new audiences and to strengthen brand advocacy with exisiting target audiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop Magic Breakfast social media channels to grow an engaging environment for people with lived experience of childhood morning hunger and our wider supporter network.
• Develop and deliver effective strategies that optimise and grow our social media channels.
• Liase with both Magic Breakfast and corporate partners' design, PR and social media agencies to deliver effective and timely campaigns
• Monitor, improve (through testing and optimisation) and report on the performance and effectiveness of social media content and campaigns
• Write impactful and engaging social posts, sourcing approprtiate imagery and developing video content in collaboration with the Multimedia Producer.

Impact and Insights Officer

This is a brand new, unique role to be an impact catalyst across both Carlisle and Barnet youth zones, generating support and building towards a ‘culture of impact’ in both organisations such that outcome measurement and impact reporting becomes routine and ‘every day’.

Position: Impact and Insights Officer

Location: Home-working combined with a minimum of 8 days per month across both Barnet and Carlisle youth zones (travel expenses will be covered as part of the package)

Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 (dependent upon experience)

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

Contract: Fixed Term Contract – 3 years

About the Role

You will lead on data analysis and reporting on the data held in Salesforce CRM, improving both the quality and quantity of monitoring and evaluation processes, driving improvements in data capture through training and upskilling the Youth Work team, strengthening the ability of both youth zones to demonstrate the measurable impact of youth work delivered. 

You will also be responsible for measuring and demonstrating both charities’ impact to stakeholders; authoring and providing the necessary data to the leadership and fundraising teams and Board (as required), annual publications such as Trustees Reports and annual Impact Reports. Innovation is a key aspect of this role, involving the introduction and embedding of new methodologies to enhance the qualitative data capture process.

You will collaborate closely with a cross section of teams within the youth zones, working with the Youth Work delivery teams to feed data into decision making, and with the Communications and Fundraising teams to provide impact measurement and analysis content for use with stakeholders and in donor reporting. Furthermore, it will align impact and data work with national and local policy, and use national census, health, police and other statistical data to position both youth zones for new income generation opportunities.

About You

This role is ideal for someone who has the ability to bring technical analysis to life in a youth work setting and can communicate insights in an accessible style to different audiences. The Impact and Insights Officer should be passionate about embracing the power of youth work and be keen to support youth zones in evidencing the impact created with young people. It will require someone who can bring impact expertise and creativity to create buy-in and drive improvements in data capture; and someone who is keen to work flexibly and closely with teams of passionate youth workers and who is unafraid of the challenge presented by Youth Zones in two very different geographic locations.

About the role:

The role of Triage and Early Interventions Officer (TEIO) is a fast paced one which requires the post holder to answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to victims of crime and those accessing the service in Cumbria.

As a TEIO, you will;

• answer incoming calls, speaking to those affected by crime & manage a caseload
• make outgoing calls, assess needs and risks and action plan with callers
• work on the case management system to allocate cases, provide administration on cases and assess/ensure data quality
• liaise with other agencies where required to find out more information, give information or make referrals or give signposting information
• work with the wider team to ensure an effective, trauma informed service is given to those affected by crime

You will be a confident, compassionate and empathic person who can work well under pressure. You will be speaking to people who may be upset, angry or in emotional difficulties and will need to be composed, empathic and be able to quickly assess situations.

You will be confident in using your IT skills to work on a case management system, access phone and online systems, email and Microsoft Office programmes.

The Job

The Project Coordinator will:

• Report to the Portfolio Manager (Routes Into & Through)
• Be employed on a permanent contract
• Be based remote or hybrid, with regular travel to London
• Be paid a pro rata full-time equivalent salary of £28,000

The Project Coordinator role is responsible for the smooth running of our projects and programmes. You’d be part of one or more project teams, overseen by a Project or Portfolio Manager, ensuring that our projects are delivered to a high standard, and that our participants and clients have a positive experience working with us.

1. Responsible for the administration and coordination of project delivery and communication across a portfolio of Koreo’s programmes and projects

2. Responsible for the management of data and relationships that contribute to wider business objectives and activities

3. Responsible for contributing to the team and self development as part of a thriving working culture at the company

We’re looking for someone with the following skillset:

● Organisation, time management and task efficiency – You are reliable and thrive on responsibility. You will be expected to manage competing priorities, delivering at pace to a high standard. Effective planning and strong organisation skills will be key to the success of this role

● Ability to take initiative and effectively solve problems – You are able to work independently and use initiative when needed. You are a natural problem solver, and you are able to quickly spot and manage key risk areas

● Attention to detail – You are an excellent proof-reader and you are able to work confidently with large quantities of complex data

● Customer service – You should understand who our customers/clients are and show a commitment and desire to anticipate, meet and exceed their needs and expectations

● Build positive relationships – You are comfortable in a small, busy and ambitious team. You are be a good team player and able to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues and our community

● Written and verbal communication – You can communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. You should be confident in conversing with a variety of people and be able to adapt your style to different audiences and through different mediums

●Good general education, typically to A Level or equivalent

●Experience managing and delivering work to a deadline and in accordance to a plan

●Basic working knowledge of creating and coordinating projects

●Knowledge of charities and/or employment programmes and the way they work and operate

The primary purpose of this role is to design, develop, and implement a comprehensive continuum of care, supporting young people in our local community who have had a more challenging start in life. This role will be paramount in enabling these young people to ‘discover who they are and what they can become’.

As a proactive member of the Executive Leadership Team, this role is also responsible for the development of an organisational culture that puts our Mission Statement, Purpose, Values and Christian Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility at the heart of all we do.

The role will focus on providing an outstanding environment for children to thrive in whilst ensuring that we are compliant with OFSTED and other regulatory bodies. You will also demonstrate expertise in Safeguarding and be able to lead the growth of the provision.

You will be responsible for creating and implementing the strategic direction, financial sustainability and leadership framework for the children’s residential service and to maintain the operational overview of service delivery and service improvements.

You will oversee and project manage the sourcing and registration of new homes and services, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to maximise efficient use of resources and develop a sustainable business plan and business model which reflect the strategic objectives in relation to the children’s residential homes service.

You will work with the Head of Children’s Residential Services to develop a workforce development plan that promotes effective recruitment of a skilled workforce, enables existing staff to develop additional skills to support the service growth, enables internal promotion, and engages staff to sustain the longevity of employment.

You will be instrumental to the development and growth of our service and help realise the positive ambitions we have to make a difference every day to the lives of the children and young people in our care.

With extensive experience of children's residential care, you will have experience of the day to day operations and the strategic overview to drive growth.  You will be able to share your success where you have opened and expanded services and also be able to highlight to us you experience of sourcing and securing funding streams and all that entails.

You will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills; whether interacting with one of our young people, a member of staff or a member of our Board, you will act with professionalism and kindness; your ability to inspire and motivate will be a key asset and you will create a culture of team work and technical excellence within your service.

In line with our members of our Executive Leadership Team, we would look for you to a hold an MBA or equivalent business management qualification to be willing to undertake one with our support.

Your role will encompass our current homes which cover Nottingham, Newark, Goole and Selby with our key YMCA office locations being situated in Nottingham and Newark.

SSAFA’s Network & Community team, operating across the UK, are proud to announce this role as part of their strategic development plans.

This is a new fundraising opportunity to help provide support for serving personnel, veterans and their families ensuring that no-one battles alone.

Supported by the Statutory Grants Manager, this role is fundamental in developing, supporting and championing new and existing fundraising from heath providers and local authorities. The aim is to increase income generation in this area whilst raising SSAFA’s profile within local authorities and health care provision. This initiative will require relationship development and bid writing skills to create effective proposals for support.

SSAFA is entering into an exciting period of strategic development within this proven income stream. If successful, you will be the part of a small team with potential for career development.

There will be an occasional need to travel across the UK and to work evenings and weekends at key events.
