The Programme Manager role will report to the Senior Programme Manager and sit within the Programmes Team.

The Partnership Manager role will report to the CEO and sit within the Business Development Team.

Essential Experience

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring an Area Manager to provide management and oversight for services which span across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC). Our services provide 154 units of accommodation to people experiencing homelessness and have complex needs. The services are 24 hour supported accommodation sites. You will have the overall responsibility to deliver the highest standards of service quality, performance and improvements across your services through excellent leadership and embodiment of our SIG values.

As the Area Manager, you will lead the team to deliver exemplar Trauma Informed support to our residents and participants. The current team you will directly manage:

Line Management and Leadership

Service Delivery

• Manage the overall day-to-day operational delivery of your service, working directly with your team, colleagues, residents and participants, as well as other stakeholders to provide a high-quality, holistic service which meets the needs of our residents.
• Ensure service responsibilities and requirements are carried out effectively. This includes but is not limited to; welfare checks, risk assessments, support sessions, safeguarding checks, training and development, and other responsibilities required for effective service delivery.
• Support the team to carry out their day to day duties and responsibilities, offer guidance and support as necessary. 
• Work proactively to ensure the service and team meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators, and work in line with professional codes of conduct.
• Empower residents and participants to make decisions to take control over their lives, by creating an enabling environment.
• Be part of the operational on-call Rota for providing out-of-hours support across the operations directorate.

Risk Management

• Follow relevant risk assessment and management procedures, share relevant information with others as necessary.
• Ensure all case recording and information is accurately recorded in a timely manner, ensuring confidentiality and GDPR.
• Champion, and act as a point of reference for safeguarding concerns within the service(s). Ensure all staff attend relevant safeguarding and training and use knowledge to coach and advise the team.

Property and Housing Management

• Ensure the accommodation in which residents live is clean and maintained to a high standard
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance issues are correctly reported and managed through to completion.
• Ensure a provision of high quality housing management service is provided to residents. 

Financial Management

• Manage the service budget and review monthly management accounts: Set budgets and ensure resources are maximised.
• Promote effective cost control mechanisms and other financial activities.
• Maintain financial management within the service.

Other

• Some of what else is included: Contract management and Internal auditing, admin, and general other duties as required.

KEY CRITERIA

What we are looking for:

• Understanding and/or experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, challenging behaviours
• Experience of working with and engaging with diverse groups of people from varying backgrounds
• Previous experience in people management and development
• IT Proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate and learn new case management systems and other types of organisational software.
• Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders
• Understanding of Housing Management, including voids and evictions

What we are looking for in our Project Manager: 

Essential: 

• Substantial (5+ years) proven experience in project planning and execution, monitoring and reporting, and achievement of objectives. 

• Experience managing large (£50k+) and complex (e.g. cross-cutting multiple teams/functions) budgets. 

• Ability to work at pace and deliver to deadlines, prioritising work depending on organisational need.

• Ability to interpret top-line briefs and turn these into practical action.

• Ability to identify and manage project-based risks and issues, identify key decision points and define options for decision-makers. 

• Ability to work on own initiative to meet objectives in a complex, changing environment 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation and presenting to a wide range of audiences 

• Knowledge of a variety of project management principles and frameworks.

As our Nature Based Solutions Manager, you will be at the forefront of the co-creation of NBS that change peoples' lives and the places they live in two projects - Project Sponge in Slough and Community Bluescapes in Richmond, London. Alongside the other team members, you will demonstrate the power of urban wetlands and other blue infrastructure to help communities to adapt to climate change and build better, safer, more natural places to live.

Your key role will be to co-design and deliver with the local community NBS interventions that build resilience to flooding, provide space for wetland wildlife and improve health and well-being of citizens. You'll manage the tendering process and contractors; ensure high quality and innovative interventions are created and effectively communicate messages about climate change and nature-based solutions to citizens, partners and stakeholders.

This is an exciting, innovative approach to climate change adaptation at street and neighbourhood level. It places local residents at the heart of decision-making, design and delivery of interventions that help keep them safe from floods, droughts, heat stress and create more natural places too.

This role is suitable for hybrid working with the expectation that the successful candidate will spend up to half the working week on site with options for working from home or in office accommodation as appropriate.

 About You

You'll need  a professional qualification in NBS/SuDS/NFM design and installation or similar or significant equivalent experience from previous roles.

We are looking for someone who is well-organised; a creative thinker, a team player, an effective communicator at ease with co-design principles and practice and someone who can be an ambassador for NBS, WWT and our partners.

Travel between sites is needed and so a full driving licence is required.

About the Service

Within the London Borough of Islington we run a comprehensive range of community based provision for survivors.  At the core is our Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service which support those at the highest risk of harm.  We have a number of specialist roles and pan-borough project, which provide targeted support to providers and work closely in conjunction with partner services and work with over 500 survivors each year.

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional leader to lead on delivery of our community based support within the London Borough of Islington. These services include core IDVA teams and additional specialist roles, often supporting survivors at the point of crisis and highest risk. You will take a lead role in ensuring the high standards we set are achieved and identifying where and how we can make improvements. You will lead on development and maintenance of effective commissioning relationships and be able to identify and develop opportunities for service enhancement and growth. 

About You

You will have leadership experience in a VAWG or other service delivery organisation which includes management of different service elements. You will be comfortable with managing risk and a calm, reflective operational leader able to support staff who are often working in crisis response mode.  You will have used your  experience of working in a service delivery environment to identify and implement service improvements. You will have good data literacy and eye for detail, particularly around service utilisation and reporting.

As an EPRM you will be a key contributor to the regional strategy working very much in a one team environment whilst giving you the space to grow and develop your skills. Your role as EPRM will see you work directly with young people and teachers in schools that take part in Young Enterprise programmes such as company programme, day programmes and digital programmes. You will also oversee regional relationships, at local authority level or equivalent.

The EPRM role involves being flexible to the needs of the region and your team and to provide regional leadership. Some of the duties include, which is not an exhaustive list

• Deliver and or support the delivery of Young Enterprise programmes and services in schools, colleges, universities, and youth centres
• Work as part of the regional team to proactively identify and generate sources of local income to support YE programmes.
• Manage and monitor KPIs and local contracts associated with the above tasks through the regional operations plan set out by the Regional Manager.
• Work with the local YE Volunteer Team (LVT), providing support, direction and opportunities to engage with local activity, which may include fundraising, volunteering on programmes and / or promoting our programmes to new school
• Work closely with Programmes & Services team to support the development and delivery of our full suite of programmes, while also developing your own knowledge and understanding of our full suite of programmes and services to promote to schools.

This is a home-based role, however, will require significant travel throughout the Midlands region (covering both East and West Midlands)
