As our Director of Service Transformation, you will lead the exciting next phase of transforming our charity’s services to reach more disabled children, young people and their families. You will be responsible for sourcing and delivering contracts and partnerships essential for the charity’s sustainability by advancing our digital outreach and nurturing new partnerships and securing sustainable funds for innovative models of support. 

What you will be doing as the Director of Service Transformation:

• Lead and execute services strategies and plans that extend and transform the impact and financial sustainability of the charity’s services and support for disabled children, young people and their families. 
• Lead the design, development and sales of innovative new service models and the scaling of existing services.
• Work closely with the other executive directors and leadership team to achieve the generation of an annual financial surplus to reinvest in Kids. 
• Ensure the quality and safe delivery of all Kids’ services. 
• Ensure effective budget management underpins service development and delivery.  Ensure contracts and tenders are commercially negotiated and regularly monitored. Work with colleagues to identify and achieve necessary margins on contracts and projects for financial sustainability. 
• Inspire and lead a high performing services team; support colleagues to test, learn and adapt as the charity evolves and transforms its digital and in-person support offer.
• Be an inspiring, visible and collegiate leader and team player who works across team boundaries to help drive organisational change and nurture colleagues’ ability to perform at their best. 
• Model and lead effective communications with all colleagues that bring to life the charity’s values and behaviours. Support colleagues to ensure Diversity, Equity and Inclusion principles and practice are evidenced in service design and delivery. 
• Act as an ambassador for Kids on key platforms, carrying out media work as required; promote the charity’s products, services and work; and draw from services expertise to influence public policy and legislation relevant to disabled children and their families.

About the Youth Endowment Fund  

 We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.   

In recent years violent crime has risen significantly. Homicides, assaults, robberies and offences involving weapons have all seen sustained growth. We have also seen large increases in violent crime involving children and young people. This is a tragedy. Every child captured in these numbers is an important member of our community and society has a duty to protect them.   

The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is a charity with a £200m endowment and a mission that matters. We exist to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by funding great initiatives, finding what works and working for change – scaling up and spreading the practices that make a difference.    

Our Change team does this by building excellent relationships and sharing evidence of what works with organisations and key individuals across the public, private, third sectors and local communities. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, proactive and highly organised Change and Events Officer to join our Change team to help us fulfil our mission.    

 Key responsibilities  

Most fundamentally, your job is to work as a member of our Change team to make sure we’re excellent at running events and managing relationships with key stakeholders. You’ll make sure the team is incredibly organised and has the support it needs to work effectively. Key responsibilities:  

• Event Organising. Help to organise events, from small roundtables to large in person conferences. You will help make sure events run brilliantly, from booking venues to managing invites and organising materials.   

• External Relationship Management Support. Provide support to the team in managing external relationships by scheduling meetings, organising workshops and developing materials.   

• Meeting Effectiveness. Make sure certain meetings are effective. You’ll do this by organising the meetings, taking great minutes, making sure we keep track of things we said we would do and saving the documents in the right place.   

• Project Support. Help ensure projects within the Change teams are done brilliantly. This may involve administrative tasks, tracking deadlines or leading projects as needed.   

• Query Management. Monitor and respond to general queries by managing the team inbox.   

• Salesforce Reporting and Stakeholder Communication. Lead on coordinating Salesforce reporting and effective communication outreach for key stakeholder groups.  

• Stakeholder Engagement and Change Activities. Develop and support stakeholder engagement and Change activities, including monitoring and compiling feedback from surveys.  

• Team Scorecard Coordination. Lead on co-ordinating the team scorecard, ensuring that the team is on track with targets. 

• Collaboration. Work closely with other roles (including our Operations and Culture team) within YEF to ensure coordinated efforts and sharing of best practices.

Hybrid working details

The Royal Hospital Chelsea is the home of the Chelsea Pensioners. It has a rich history and provides supported accommodation, residential and nursing care for some 300 retired soldiers. An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Royal Hospital Chelsea where we are seeking an exceptional individual to join the Chelsea Pensioners Veterans’ Outreach  (CPVO ) team in a new role as a Veterans’ Outreach Officer. 

 The CPVO programme is aimed at extending an offer to older service veterans, inviting them to engage with our In Pensioners and enjoy the sense of community and comradeship that is at the heart of the Chelsea Pensioner community. While most of our programme activity is centred on the Royal Hospital Chelsea estate in London, the programme seeks to expand in reach to other UK regions where there is a sizeable veteran population who might benefit from engagement with our team of Chelsea Pensioners, staff and volunteers. There are also plans to develop a digital offer.

 The Veterans’ Outreach Officer will support  the Head of Veterans’ Outreach in developing and managing the programme of activities encouraging engagement and social interaction between Chelsea Pensioners and other service veterans thereby helping to alleviate the social isolation and loneliness felt by many older veterans. Responsibilities will include promoting the programme within veterans' networks and finding innovative ways to connect with veterans; the management of themed events both at the Royal Hospital Chelsea and further afield as we seek to expand nationwide. The role also involves significant data collection and analysis to inform the strategy, evaluate delivery, and identify fundraising opportunities.

Outreach Worker - Romanian Speaking

Responsibilities:

• To be accountable and responsible for providing high-quality outreach services to individuals who are rough sleeping.
• To bring about long-lasting, sustainable change, give clients that engage with an efficient needs-led service.
• Make frequent outreach shifts to locate and get in touch with people who are rough sleeping, verifying information and gathering data to help them move on.
• Make sure that evaluations and assistance programmes are pertinent to the Roma population and suitable for their cultural context, enabling them to interact with existing resources.
• Form alliances with other groups and organisations, speaking out for the rights of Roma people on welfare, immigration, and other matters when needed.
• Assist assigned clients in determining their requirements, making appropriate assistance referrals, and obtaining suitable housing
• Help customers with their money by communicating with the right agencies and handling things like benefit claims and debt difficulties.
• Must oversee and be accountable for making sure that counsel, assistance, crisis intervention, and future planning are provided in a way that meets the specific requirements of service users.

Experience Required:

• Possessing fluency in Romani or Romanian, or at least speak to a high level.

• Familiarity with data management and GDPR.
• Understanding of the services, pathways, and circumstances that are pertinent to the existing drug and alcohol programme.

• Knowledge of safeguarding and expertise in risk assessment and support planning for clients with complex needs.

About the role:

The post holder will work within The Passage’s Community Services as a Complex Case Outreach Worker and will lead on case management for people experiencing homelessness who are presenting in the footprints in which the team operate and/or who are accessing the Resource Centre. The post-holder will support individuals with substance use support needs and/or mental health issues and will lead on work with clients who are experiencing alcohol and/or drug dependencies and who may also be experiencing mental health problems or other health or social care needs.

Main duties:

• To manage a caseload of clients presenting within the footprints in which the Engagement & Outreach service operate and individuals who are accessing The Passage Resource Centre. To support clients with complex needs, supporting them to identify and work towards recovery and away from homelessness.
• Carry out assessments, case management, support planning and the delivery of interventions for clients including those experiencing mental health and/or substance misuse issues who are multiply-disadvantaged in their homelessness.
• Provide assertive outreach and engagement with street-based service users presenting with complex needs and barriers to engagement. Carry out monthly street-based audits to inform reporting and analysis of service outcomes.
• Support clients who are rough sleeping or involved in day time activity in the footprints in which the team operate to end their homelessness by linking them in with appropriate internal and external support services relevant to their needs. To provide support to clients who are accommodated, but may require ongoing support in order to maintain this accommodation, linking them in to appropriate local services.

General responsibilities:

• In conjunction with your line manager to continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.
• To participate in internal/external meetings as required, attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary.

The purpose of this role is to offer an information, advice, and casework service on a range of cost-of-living issues for disabled people with complex needs. The post-holder will also deliver training on welfare benefits to other organisations and their helpline staff. You will provide a person-centred information, advice, and casework to disabled people with complex needs on cost-of-living support, welfare benefits and to access small grants.

As the lead welfare benefits worker within the organisation, you will work with relevant staff and organisations to provide an accessible welfare benefits service, across the borough, with flexible hours and access routes to meet the needs of the client base i.e., internet, phone, email.

Working with the User Involvement Officer, you will ensure the service is user-led and people with complex needs are supported to be involved in the development of the project.

The Role

Are you passionate about working with communities across Greater London, helping to reduce the harmful impact gambling can have on individuals and families? 

Do you want to make a difference by raising awareness of gambling-related harms within community groups across Greater London, helping to build confidence in talking openly about gambling and the support available from our service?

If so, one of the key priorities of GamCare London is to reach out to individuals, families, and communities to make it easier to talk about gambling and gambling related harms. This is done by working across the area to engage with underserved communities, ensuring everyone can access information and support.

Crucially, you’ll be responsible for building effective working partnerships with professional services through the delivery of presentations, networking and creating new referral pathways. Your role will be integral in making the service accessible, by embedding support for gambling related harm across communities in Greater London.

Working hours are usually 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, however, to meet the needs of the service the role might include some evenings and occasional weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Participation in service promotion, networking activities and events to support visibility and ongoing development of the service 
• Development and maintenance of relationships with local services and communities, providing information to support identification of gambling harms and pathways into service
• Development of collaborative working relationships with external agencies, professionals, and groups, and delivering presentations on gambling harms and how to support people to access the service
• Providing advice, brief and extended brief interventions to people affected by gambling harms

Role Overview: 

The Head of Marketing & Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth. You will develop and execute multi-channel strategies delivered across the funnel from enhancing brand visibility and generating leads, nurturing leads to conversion, right the way through to supporting customer retention and advocacy. This varied role offers the opportunity to expand market reach with our current services, as well as helping launch new products into existing and untapped markets, while delivering a strong RoI. 

As well as being a commercial and strategic leader you will need to be a hands-on problem solver, ready to roll your sleeves up to support a small team to deliver where needed. You will be pivotal in ensuring we achieve our mission and deliver impact for post-16 students.  

You will report directly to the Chief Revenue Generation Officer who leads the revenue team, comprising of digital marketing and content specialists as well as membership support staff.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Membership engagement and growth: Developing and executing strategic marketing and sales strategies to drive member engagement, growth and retention with our flagship membership and subscription services.  
• Brand positioning and visibility: Ensuring we have a powerful brand that punches above its weight to increase market share, drive competitive advantage and to position the organisation as a thought leader within the sector.
• Marketing analysis and segmentation: Conducting market analysis/research within existing and untapped markets to uncover insights to segment audiences and tailor marketing messaging and activities effectively to drive conversions. 
• Digital marketing: Overseeing digital marketing strategies, including website optimisation, email marketing, search marketing and social media marketing to drive traffic and conversion across the funnel stages.   
• Content and creativity: Oversea content strategy and creation across various formats and channels, ensuring innovation and creativity to stand out in a crowded market. 
• Data-driven decision making: Using analytics to test strategies, measure results and generate insights in order to iterate and improve performance, tracking key metrics and leading the team to deliver and report against agreed KPIs.  
• Budgeting and resource management: Tracking spend, ensuring cost effective allocation of resources and reporting on RoI.  
• Leadership and collaboration: Leading and mentoring the team to perform against growth and revenue targets as well as collaborating with other departments to ensure a unified approach.  

Essential experience and skills 

• Extensive experience in a similarly commercial marketing and sales role with a proven track record in driving revenue growth.
• Strong strategic thinking skills with a track record of successful planning and execution. 
• A commercial and results-driven mindset with a commitment to achieving and exceeding financial targets. 
• A diverse marketing skillset and proficiency across a range of marketing channels.  
• Experience leading and line managing a team to perform.

About the role

We are recruiting an Information & Advice Adviser who will be joining a progressive, inclusive and dynamic team, an integral part of our Community Support model, and wider Age UK Merton services.

The Information & Advice Adviser is a vital role that works directly with older people who come to the service seeking information and advice on pension age benefits.

Last year the service worked to support over 800 older adults with information and advice on benefits, health, housing and care, and assisted the uptake of nearly £400,000 of previously unclaimed benefits.

An important part of this role will be to triage initial client needs which have been referred into the service by both internal and external partners, this will then ensure the team provides the right advice and high-quality support, whether on the phone, email or face to face.

You will be joining an accredited advice service (with the Advice Quality Standard), delivered by a high calibre team and you will be given opportunities to train and develop in the role.

We3can is a collaboration between three cancer charities - Brain Tumour Research, Leukaemia UK and Sarcoma UK. We3Can is an ambitious collaboration of the three charities to fund research into prevention, treatment and cures for the most common childhood cancers: brain tumours, leukaemia and sarcoma. Its purpose is "Funding research into better, kinder treatments to help cure kids' cancer."

The three cancers it focuses on (brain tumours, leukaemia and sarcoma) make up 78% of all childhood cancers. The collaboration allows the three distinct organizations to come together with a single-minded vision to be louder, more powerful, reach more people, and fund more vital research.

Job Purpose:

The Project Development Manager will be the main point of contact for the collaboration. They will be responsible for implementing and delivering the project plan, monitoring, evaluations, reporting, all systems and processes, coordinating meetings, etc and for generating income through (mainly) Corporate partnerships but may include some Trusts and High Value individuals. These partners will be with organisations/individuals who would otherwise be outside the reach of any of the three charities individually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create systems and processes for administering and managing the functions of the partnership.
• Ensure regular project group meetings take place.
• Lead on the promotion of the brand and communications activities in conjunction with the communications experts on the project group.
• Monitor website and social media activity.

The person:

• Proven track record of securing six-figure corporate sponsorships and partnerships.

About the Role

• Located at a 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham, we provide high quality self-contained accmmodation for 15 women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage.
• The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic environment in which women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move on into independent, permanent accommodation. The accommodation also includes overnight safe spaces.
• In this role, you will provide direct support to all the women, as well as holding a small case load of residents who you will keywork. 
• You will work closely with support workers and the in-house psychologist.
• You will model person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support, will be skilled at building trust and you will be a great team player.
• The post holder will undertake 8-hour shifts, normally Monday to Friday but with flexibility for weekend working, covering the hours 8am to 8pm. This is a 1 year fixed term contract.
