We are looking for new volunteers who live in Hounslow, Richmond or Ealing boroughs who can take on a postcode area and deliver and collect our collection cans, and reseach and identify potential new can placement venues. Enthusiasm, local knowledge and good communication skills required.

SLOW, an award-winning charity supporting bereaved families, is excited to welcome an experienced Chair to lead our Board of Trustees, when our current Chair retires in June 2026. The appointee will be tasked with moving the organisation to the next level in delivering the sustainable growth of its bereavement services. 

The Chair of SLOW is entrusted with the vital task of leading the Board of Trustees and its Director to ensure it fulfils its legal and governance responsibilities while remaining true to the mission and values of the charity.

This is an exciting opportunity for an engaged individual to come into SLOW and utilise their extensive charity governance experience to help the charity on its strategic journey. As the Chair of the Board of Trustees, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and further developing the charity's strategic direction and acting as an ambassador for the organisation. The Chair will be required to lead the Board to consensus-based decisions, as well as provide strategic and critical support to its Director. The Chair will ensure that the organisation continues to fulfil its objectives and work towards its goals and mission, while also promoting the highest standards of charity governance. The Chair reports to the Board of Trustees. 

As our Volunteer Administrator, this is your chance to make a significant difference 'behind the scenes', to the support we offer to Bereaved Siblings around the UK. 

The Administrative Assistant volunteer plays a vital behind the scenes role in supporting the smooth running of the charity.
This role is ideal for someone who is organised, reliable, and happy to support a small, mission-driven organisation with a variety of practical tasks.

Sibling Support is the UKs charity ensuring that Bereaved Siblings are seen, heard and supported through their journey with grief after the death of their brother or sister. We offer a broad range of services across the UK both in person and online. 

You will support with administrative tasks such as:
- Managing event bookings and attendance lists
- Researching information for fundraising, projects, and
  development work
- Helping to keep systems and information organised and up to date
- Providing general administrative support to the charity team as needed.

Your self driven approach to working alongside your eye for detail, will mean that you will help us continue to operate in a smooth, efficient and professional manner. You might already work in Bereavement Support, or bring lived experience with  you of being a Bereaved Sibling.

Whether you're able to carry out your role an hour or a few hours a week, your contribution will be valued. You will be supported by induction training and on the job support.

Our fundraising team leaders have the exciting and varied role of inspiring our fundraising volunteers to plan and deliver local fundraising events. Using their passion and imagination, they oversee a small team of fundraising volunteers who come together to raise the vital funds needed to cover costs such as veterinary bills and food. Our fundraising team leaders support their team of volunteers in all aspects of their roles, making sure our volunteers are happy, confident and supported.

Time expectation

Our fundraising team leaders usually spend three to four hours per week in this role, which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer if needed.

A bit about this role

As a charity we can continue to help cats and kittens in need thanks to the donations we receive at fundraising events from generous members of the public. Our fundraising event helpers have the exciting and varied role of helping at local fundraising events - such as cakes sales, barn dances, quiz nights – and everything in between!
 

You can expect us to

You'll be

• help set up and/or man stalls at events

A bit more information about this role and the team

This volunteer opportunity is perfect for anyone who enjoys being part of local community events and wants to make a meaningful difference for cats across the South West. As a fundraising events helper, you will support a range of enjoyable activities such as craft fairs, coffee mornings, quiz nights, county shows and supermarket collections. Your support at these events helps raise the vital funds needed to care for cats and kittens in need.

Every event you take part in truly makes a difference. Even small amounts go a long way. Just £5 can feed a cat in our care for 25 days, helping us provide the food, warmth and comfort they rely on.

You do not need previous experience. All you need is a friendly attitude, a willingness to get involved and an interest in helping cats. Whether you prefer setting up stalls, chatting to members of the public or supporting activities throughout the day, there is a place for you on the team. Any time you can give will help us continue our work and support cats who need it most.

This role is very flexible. You can choose to volunteer at a single event for a couple of hours or join multiple events throughout the year. We will keep you updated with upcoming opportunities so you can choose what suits you best.

Wherever you are based in the South West, you will have full support from your fellow volunteers and the Fundraising Hub team. They are always available to offer guidance, resources and encouragement.

We will support you every step of the way.

Time expectation

This role is really flexible! You could choose to volunteer at one event for a couple of hours or attend multiple fundraising events.

Cancer support charity The Mulberry Centre, is looking for new volunteers with flexible availability to help us set up and run out stall at a variety of fun community fundraising & enagement events, mainly in West London - Hounslow, Richmond & Ealing area. Come and sell rafle tickets, inspire donations, hold a collection bucket, give out leaflets and engage with the public at our own events and at fetes, fairs and stadium days.
