Salary: £40,373 per annum.

For this role, we need someone to come into the office at least one day a week, on a Tuesday. A day where all of Income Generation and Grants come into the office. You can work remotely for the rest of the time. Equally, you may prefer to work from the office full-time.
Contractually this role is London-based.

We’re looking for a kind and compassionate person to join our Family Support team supporting families
in Sussex. You’ll support families whose child has cancer or a life-challenging condition, offering
emotional and practical support when it’s most needed – helping families feel less alone.
You’ll split your time between Worthing Hospital, keeping in touch with and visiting families across
Sussex, working closely with hospital teams, schools, and community services. Whether it’s sitting with a
parent on the ward, visiting a family at home, or checking in with a sibling who’s struggling, you’ll make
sure families know they’re never facing this journey alone.
We offer a flexible, hybrid role over four days, with regular peer support, clinical supervision, and

This role is about being calm, empathetic, building trust, being there when it matters, and making sure
families know they’re not alone.
Supporting Families
• Offer emotional and practical support tailored to each family’s situation, listening closely and
responding with care from the moment they’re referred
• Keep in regular contact through home visits, hospital visits, calls, texts or emails – so families know
what help is available and that they’re not facing this alone
• Manage your own caseload, prioritising contact based on need and making sure families always feel
supported
• Create and regularly review personal support plans using our Momentum Outcomes tool
• Connect families to Momentum services - such as counselling, creative therapies, respite breaks and
family experiences – as well as trusted external organisations when needed
• Collaborate with our social work service when a family may need more specialist help with complex
needs – such as education, housing issues, benefits, or safeguarding concerns.
• Recognise the needs of siblings, grandparents and carers, helping them to find the right support too
• When required, support families under palliative care with compassion and sensitivity
• Work closely with our Echoes team to ensure bereaved families transition to their specialist support
smoothly and with care
Working in Hospital
• Visit Worthing Hospital regularly, in line with need, to support with existing Momentum families and
meet new referrals
• Build strong, positive relationships with hospital staff, and other professionals so you become a
trusted part of the team on the paediatric ward, including attending MDT's, sharing professional
knowledge of our families and maintaining accurate records
• Be a friendly and approachable presence for professionals and families alike, clearly explaining what
Momentum can offer
• Follow hospital policies on infection control, dress code and safeguarding at all times
Working in the Community
• Visit families across Sussex who need support at home
• Continue supporting families after treatment ends, helping them adjust and find their way forward
• Work with schools and local services to support children’s emotional wellbeing
• Build relationships with local community teams to expand Momentum’s support to families in need
• Make sure every family feels part of Momentum for as long as they need us
Professional Responsibilities
• Keep clear, accurate and confidential records of your work on our secure database
• Share stories, photos and anonymised family updates (with consent) to help the charity’s fundraising
and communications
• Join team meetings, clinical supervision and training (some virtual, some at our office near Hampton
Court Station, Surrey)

Rape Crisis South London is looking for a skilled and experienced professional who is passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of the South West London (SWL) Child Sexual Abuse Early Emotional Support Service for the CYP service. Working closely with the NHS and Schools you will manage a small specialist counselling team ensuring high-quality, trauma informed support for our young people who have experienced sexual violence. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Safeguarding legislation for children and adults, as well as child development.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to develop partnerships with schools, families, funders and other key stakeholders. You will hold a relevant professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and be registered with the BACP/UKCP or equivalent. You will have significant experience of working therapeutically with children and young people, ideally in the contexts of trauma or abuse.
Responsible to the Clinical Lead for CYP you will also provide additional support in the management and allocation of referrals, as well as provide additional support and advice as required to the wider CYP Service.

Role Context
The Team Leader is responsible for supporting the development, management, and supervision of the Kentown Support therapeutic offer. The expectation of the Team Leader role is that 50% of their time will be allocated to their supervisory responsibilities, including line management of designated staff. The remainder of their time will be allocated to casework support. Role Purpose
The postholder will provide line management support to staff within this team, ensuring effective case management and supervision. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Management of staff:
• Provide 1:1 line management supervision and casework support for the designated contract with the CYP and CC Therapy Service Manager’s guidance.

• Effectively undertake annual appraisals and support staff to meet their Personal Development Plan.

Service Development:

• To lead on service monitoring and reporting to ensure it is completed in line with contract requirements.
• To meet with commissioners and funders as required to support the service.
Providing therapeutic support to individuals:
• Offer therapeutic interventions and support to individuals and families on your caseload. This may be with adults in the family or with children and young people in the family.
• Provide post-bereavement support to family members following the death of a child with a life-limiting condition. This may be families you have already supported in this role, or you may begin to work with new families referred by the CCN team.
• Offer a holistic package of support that is tailored to the needs of the families you are working with. This may include working around their wellbeing, building resilience, and developing coping strategies.

St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity (SMITFC) is looking for a strategic, relationship-driven Trusts and Foundations Manager to help shape the future of our income generation from charitable trusts and foundations. This is a pivotal role within our Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations Team, working to ensure that we not only maintain but significantly grow our sustainable income streams in support of people experiencing homelessness and extreme vulnerability.
Working alongside the Philanthropy Manager and Prospect Researcher, this role will be responsible for identifying and securing new 5-6 figure+ gifts, maintaining and deepening engagement with our existing funding partners and developing a pipeline of future funding opportunities designed to spread risk and build for a reliable, realistic income growth over time.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Work with the Head of Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations (P&TF) to develop the Charity’s Trust and Foundations growth strategy ensuring it maximises sustainable net income from both general and restricted Trust and Foundation funding sources, diversifies income and starts to spread income timelines away from a reliance on our Christmas appeal period.
- Work collaboratively across the charity to acquire an excellent knowledge and understanding of SMITFC values and programmes, to inform the creation of bespoke donor materials, cases for support, funding proposals and reports.
- Lead on the creation and submission of bespoke proposals and reports to existing Trusts and Foundations, maintaining accurate development and submission deadlines and excellent records of progress and outcomes on CRM.

- Work with the P&TF team to deliver our annual Christmas Appeal – to include the development of the P&TF Christmas Appeal 2025, deliver the annual Christmas Appeal Launch event, and optimize the use of social medial and other platforms to reach potential new funders over the Christmas period and beyond.
- Work with the P&TF team to develop the high value offering for the 100 Anniversary appeal 2026.
- Ensure that resources and budgets are managed effectively and provide Trust and Foundation fundraising financial information as required by the Head of P&TF – including contributing to income risk assessments, identifying gaps or shifts in funding and support contingency planning with the wider P&TF team.
- Ensure accurate records of funding opportunities, donor contact details and prospect research are maintained across CRM and finance systems.
- Work collaboratively with SMITF partner charities to align stewardship, donor asks and maximise income.
Our Team: We are friendly, ambitious, creative bunch, who value and maintain relationships of trust and transparency with our donors. We all work flexibly between home and the office but love to come together to plan, get creative and enjoy some lunch in the Crypt at St Martins Church.
