Your starting salary will be £26,007, increasing to £26,527 after 6 months, (providing you have completed your L3 training and subject to successfully passing your probation. At 12 months (subject to satisfactory performance and progression in your qualification) your salary will increase to £27,058 - providing you have signed your training agreement and commenced your L4 training. Any further increases will be in line with our annual Personal Development Review (PDR) process.

The Team
As part of the National Careers Service team in the Southeast, you will be part of a small cohort of highly experienced and qualified Careers Advisers provide Careers Information, Advice, and Guidance (CIAG) by various methods including, Face to Face, Telephone and Virtual (MS Teams) appointments. The success of team is their excellent communication and ability to support each other on a daily basis.
The Role
As a Trainee Careers Adviser, you will be responsible for the daily delivery of Careers Information, Advice, and Guidance to adults on a range of opportunities, including learning, career paths and employment.
You will have some experience in working with people within the community from a variety of backgrounds using various methodologies to empower customers as they seek to overcome barriers to progression and make informed career decisions about their futures.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate their abilities to achieve their goals on an outcome-based contract supporting others to achieve their goals. You will be organised, flexible in your abilities to support the needs of the charity.
From time to time, you will be required to attend CXK Head Office (Ashford, Kent) for meetings, events and other organisational activities.

Minimum Criteria
· Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent)
· Experience or knowledge of education, employment, or training provisions
· Previous work experience or voluntary experience of delivery of information to groups of people in a formal or informal setting
Essential Criteria
· Deliver careers advice to customers from a range of locations, including Job Centre Plus, Libraries, Further Education Colleges, and community venues
· Confident users of IT, highly organised with excellent time management skills
· Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle for travel across county to support the charity’s needs as directed by the Area Manager
· To create realistic action plans with customers, helping them to gain education, employment, or training with clear and unbiased information, advice and guidance that is based on the needs of customers
· Accurately record all required outcomes and notes using an online database/CRM in line with data protection and contract requirements
· Experience of successfully working towards formal or informal targets
· Experience of working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds
· Appropriate homeworking space to work effectively and uninterrupted
· A commitment to undertake all necessary training for the role including a professional qualification in Careers IAG at Level 4 within the first 12 months of the role

Social Media Content Strategy Execution

· Identify and encourage the use of sharable third-party and user generated content which aligns with Alzheimer’s Research UK’s brand messaging to support creative campaigns and initiatives.
Audience engagement and Relationship Building
· Monitor interactions across Alzheimer’s Research UK’s socials, proactively engaging with supporters to ensure they receive a positive experience.
· Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining high level of attention to detail to the brand voice in all social interactions.
· Be a confident and proficient communicator, able to adopt an appropriate tone of voice for each of our different audience types (including the communication of complex or sensitive issues. Able to communicate sensitively on several issues in a timely manner.
Reporting and Trend Analysis
· Produce insight driven and eye-catching regular reports on content for teams across the charity, to communicate key successes and areas for development, using your expertise and knowledge about the platforms.
· Proactively research, learn and suggest ways to improve our ways of working and efficiency by utilising emerging digital trends, such as artificial intelligence.
Internal Engagement and Collaboration
· Support teams across the charity with their social content, identifying opportunities to share our research, health information, fundraising and other campaign activities; as well as advising on best practice.
· Work with the Social Media Manager to enhance the Employee Advocacy Approach, fostering engagement and participation among staff in sharing social content.

What we are looking for:
· Experience of working across social media channels for a medium-large size organisation.
· Experience of using a Social Media Management tool such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Falcon.

About the role
Individual giving is a fantastic, high performing team, generating over £20 million fundraised income per year. Your role will be pivotal in helping to support the delivery of our fundraising strategy, budget management, as well as being responsible for delivering campaigns to generate income both now and for the future.

Since joining ClientEarth as a Philanthropy Officer, Sebastien has progressed to the Philanthropy Manager position where he supports and oversees two members of the Philanthropy Team. He has found that working in the Philanthropy Team has been a fantastic way to support ClientEarth's mission while learning about the world and developing skills in relationship management and communication.
Main Duties
- Actively manage donor relationships across assigned portfolio of largely UK supporters with first class stewardship and reporting to secure renewals and uplifts of approximately £500,000 pa.
- Support with oversight of engagement with supporters ranging from £10,000 - £50,000. Galvanise and coordinate the European Philanthropy team to identify opportunities to uplift giving and ensure all supporters feel valued.
- Develop the pipeline of new donors through effective prospect research, network mapping and connecting with new contacts at external and internal events as a representative of ClientEarth.
