Job description

We're looking for an Events Support Administrator to provide high-quality, service-focused and efficient events administration to support the smooth running of our continuing professional development programmes.

About Bespoke Mental Health

Bespoke Mental Health specialises in providing online continuing professional development for mental healthcare practitioners. We are a small, values-led company, passionate about making a difference through providing training that gives practitioners access to the latest research and thinking on evidence-based psychological therapies to enhance their practice.

What you’ll do

As Events Support Administrator you’ll take ownership of providing administrative support within set guidelines for Bespoke Mental Health’s programme of events, working closely with the Events Programme Manager. You’ll help deliver an excellent customer experience for our subscribing organisations and delegates.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Respond to delegate queries through our website and by email, using response templates for frequently asked questions and liaising with colleagues about more complex queries
  • Provide administrative support on the day for live online events (see also information on working hours below)
  • Process administrative changes and requests such as issuing guest access codes for events and updating membership details
  • Generate events-related reports and use mail merge to send to customers and others as required
  • Maintain event process support documentation, ensuring it is accurate and up to date.

Key skills, personal qualities and experience

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and mail merge). Familiarity with Wix and/or Zoom would be an advantage.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership within set guidelines as well as having a collaborative approach and knowing when to seek advice
  • Able to work with complexity
  • Able to maintain high standards in a high-volume context
  • A strong customer service focus
  • Adaptable and able to learn quickly and effectively
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively in writing
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willing to be flexible to meet business needs
  • A high level of personal integrity and an ethical and inclusive approach.

What we offer

As well as the opportunity to be part of a committed, high-performing and collaborative team doing meaningful work, we offer:

  • A competitive starting salary of £29,177 FTE (actual salary £20,841 for 25 hours per week), with potential for performance-related progression to £33,961 FTE over time
  • Some flexibility in working hours
  • Fully remote working
  • Pension scheme
  • 30 days' annual leave

About you

You’ll genuinely enjoy administrative work and have a keen eye for detail, be confident with IT, highly accurate and organised and like to make sure things run smoothly. If that sounds like you and you have the skills we’re looking for, share our values and are keen to get stuck in, we’d love to hear from you.

We want to build a diverse team and we welcome applications from candidates from all backgrounds and life experiences.
