As Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for an income stream of £1.3million with a view to, and the potential to, double income over the next few years. The Role:

• The Senior Philanthropy Manager will lead the philanthropy programme, inspiring and developing a team of 3 to deliver income in excess of £1.3million annually
• Develop and implement a philanthropic giving strategy with a focus on retaining, uplifting and recruiting gifts from high-net-worth donors
• Take responsibility for developing the major donor pipeline and drive forward new business opportunities to achieve sustainable income growth over the next 3 years
• Personally steward a portfolio of donors and prospects at the 6-figure level, with ambitions to build relationships with individuals with capacity to give 7-figure donations

About You:

• Proven experience at managing a philanthropy programme with demonstrable success at growing income
• Significant pipeline development experience and ability to effectively engage with prospects and lapsed donors
• Strong relationship management skills to engage with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Experience managing direct reports to support them in their own development and enabling them to thrive in their roles

Role Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, fundraiser who is target driven, to apply for a new role, Philanthropy Development Manager, to lead a step-change in member giving. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of philanthropic giving at the Goldsmiths’ Company. The postholder will develop and implement strategies to double the amount individual members give each year for the next three years. In doing this they will work with the Goldsmiths’ Foundation to harness the power of community, connection, and purpose-driven philanthropy. This role is ideal for a confident relationship-builder, communicator and fundraiser who can develop compelling cases for support, segment and engage diverse supporter groups, and deliver targeted campaigns that inspire generosity. They will need to relish the opportunity to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders across the organisation and enjoy the challenge of working to achieve a significant new fundraising target. The role is part of the membership team and will collaborate closely across teams in the institution, particularly the Goldsmiths’ Foundation, Finance and Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and deliver a multi-year strategy to grow member giving, with a focus on significantly increasing contributions within a defined timeframe.

· Analyse current giving trends and segment the membership to identify opportunities for tailored engagement and stewardship.

· Develop and manage campaigns, appeals, events, and digital communications that strengthen donor relationships and drive income.

· Build personal relationships with high-potential donors.

· Collaborate with Communications and other teams to align philanthropic messaging with the Goldsmiths’ Foundation’s impact and values.

Skills & Experience Essential:

· Proven track record in fundraising or philanthropy development, ideally within a membership or alumni-based organisation.

· Demonstrable success in growing income from individual donors, including designing and delivering donor acquisition and retention strategies.

· Strong experience in project management, with good operational and planning skills and the confidence to co-ordinate the work of others.

· Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences.

· Data-driven mindset, with experience in CRM/database management, donor segmentation, and campaign performance analysis.

Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for strategic and operational oversight of the effective delivery of the Creating Community Connections Pilot, ensuring the successful delivery of the pilot project, balancing the demands of supporting the various partnerships between funders, providers, and stakeholders to collectively deliver the required impact and ensure contract compliance.

Creating Community Connections is a three-year Domestic Abuse (DA) pilot Project, funded by HMPPS. The project is led by a partnership of women’s centre providers - Women in Prison, Anawim, Together Women, and Nelson Trust and aims to connect women in prisons with vital specialist community support services across the country, especially women's centres and organisations providing support around DA. By connecting prisons and women in custody to a network of local women’s services, we hope to aid resettlement and support engagement with holistic support to meet women’s needs, address root causes of offending, improve outcomes on release and intercept cycles of trauma, disadvantage, and abuse, with a particular focus on DA services. The project will ultimately support women who have experienced domestic abuse and work with them so that their experiences do not negatively influence their opportunity of successful resettlement back into the community.

The Role

This is an exciting role joining a Programme Team of 15 staff based throughout the UK. You will work closely and collaborate with the other Network Managers and share some priorities across regions, working to develop the region as a whole. The purpose of this role is to facilitate good relationships between the mentors and mentees in the region. 70-80% of the role is about relationship building (with schools, mentors and partners), coordination and the tracking/ administration of those relationships. 15-20% of the role is direct delivery with the girls in the region.

Mentoring programme

• Manage overall success of the cohorts (groups of mentees and mentors) in your region, including coordinating and administering events and communications for cohorts in your area.
• Deliver engaging on-boarding sessions for mentees.
• Design and deliver events and workshops for mentees.
• Deliver matching of mentees and mentors at in-person events or virtually.
• Work with the wider programme team to train mentors.
• Support mentors once matched through regular check-ins, monthly emails and ad-hoc conversations.
• Collect data to track the progress, and impact of, mentoring relationships.
• Support mentors with safeguarding concerns, following The Girls’ Network process in line with our child protection policy.
• Develop effective relationships with schools, on-boarding, supporting and retaining the partnerships.

• Work with the Senior Network Manager in your area to identify professional partnerships and sponsorship with local and national businesses.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to ensure the company’s financial performance is closely monitored and aligned with organisational goals.

You will be responsible for managing month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting and providing insights into financial performance for our retirement villages. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a business that positively affects people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis:

o Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for care homes, nursery and retirement villages.

o Analyse financial performance and variances, providing actionable insights to senior management.

o Provide financial analysis to support key decision-making, highlighting cost-saving and efficiency improvements opportunities.

• Budgeting & Forecasting:

o Work with departmental managers and Head of Finance to create annual budgets and financial forecasts for individual homes and the group.

o Assist with quarterly and annual forecasting, revising financial projections based on changing business conditions.

• Cost Control & Financial Performance:

o Monitor operational costs and identify areas for cost reduction, ensuring financial controls are in place.

o Support the procurement process by evaluating supplier contracts and ensuring cost-effective purchasing.

• Compliance & Audit:

o Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS, FRS 102, VAT).

o Assist in preparing year-end audits, providing necessary documentation and reports.

• Stakeholder Engagement:

o Work closely with village and care home managers, the senior finance team, and external auditors.

o Present financial results to non-financial managers and ensure financial understanding across the business.

• System and Process Improvement:

o Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems and reporting processes.

Key Requirements:

• Qualifications and skills:

o Formal accounting qualification (eg ACA, ACCA) is essential.

o Advanced understanding of accounting principles and practices.

o Familiarity with medium/large accounting software.

o Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make data-driven decisions.

o Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

• Experience:

o Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar financial role, ideally within the healthcare, social care, or similarly regulated sector.

o Strong understanding of financial controls, budgeting, and forecasting in a multi-site environment.

o Previous experience in care homes, retirement villages, or the broader healthcare sector is advantageous but not essential.

The Direct Marketing Manager has operational and strategic responsibility in developing and implementing the Islamic Relief UK direct marketing programme. A few practical things:

• This role is hybrid, involving a mixture of working from home and from our Central London office.
• There will be some limited additional requirements to travel for meetings and occasional expectations to work outside of office hours, such as our annual in person Staff Conference and quarterly evening ‘get togethers’ online with volunteers.
• This role is the equivalent of 3 days per week, however we are flexible to accommodate the regular working hours that work for you, between 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.
• Giving our volunteers the best possible experience involves really understanding what they do- so you will be actively encouraged to get stuck in and ‘volunteer’ yourself within our programmes and alongside our volunteers.

Summary of role: The Customer Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role within the Groundwork Water Efficiency management team, taking the lead on generating appointments for our domestic and non-household water efficiency services delivered on behalf of various water companies across London and the South of England.

This position is responsible for overseeing high-quality outbound and inbound customer engagement activities, as well as other promotional efforts, to secure work for our field-based teams of water efficiency advisors and plumbers.
