Main purpose of post
As the Operations Assistant you will be supporting the Operations Manager in
delivering and maintaining effective operational function at the charity.
Including but not exclusively, Health & Safety, Premises, Facilities, Vehicle
Management, and IT Services.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Support
 Act as the first point of contact for premises, facilities, IT and Estates
issues across all Weston Park Cancer Charity locations.
 Assist the Operations Manager in maintaining a secure and organised
premises and facilities, which ensure colleagues, volunteers and visitors
are safe and experience a welcoming environment.
 Support the Operations Manager in the successful delivery of the Annual
Operations plan.
 Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and take
minutes in operations-related working groups.
 Support with updating operational policies and procedures.
 Act as a Charity Data Protection Officer (DPO), alongside the Operations
Manager - following relevant training, to promote a strong GDPR culture.
 Assist in the coordination of charity vehicle fleet maintenance schedules
and provide breakdown response support.
 Assist in the control and coordination of the use of charity space and
assets, including liaising with contractors and Sheffield Teaching
Hospitals (STH) on relevant matters as required.
 Act as a designated keyholder, responsible for the opening and closing
procedure.
 Manage the operations shared email inbox.

Health & Safety
 Serve as the first point of contact for all Health & Safety matters,
including incidents and accidents, ensuring accurate recording and
reporting.
 Provide operational and administrative support on all Health & Safety
matters at our sites and external locations (including external events and
the Outreach Service, updating COSHH reports).
 Assist in the procurement, delivery and recording of mandatory staff
training needs.
 Help establish and maintain safe working practices and policies and
undertake basic risk assessments.

Workwear and equipment
 Act as the first point of contact for workwear and equipment requests;
including being responsible for issuing and returning stock, regular stock
checks and ordering stock as required.

Tech Support
 Serve as the first point of contact for general IT enquiries.
 Consult with IT consultants to ensure adherence to processes.
 Work with the Operations Manager to implement processes that
maintain the IT security score.
 Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including
software licenses, logins, and induction training.
 Serve as lead administrator for key operational software, such as Webex
phone system and Vatix Lone Worker App.

General Administrative Support & Development
 Handle general enquiries from staff, patients, and volunteers efficiently.
 Manage charity postal enquiries.
 Assist the Operations Manager with the procurement of stationery and
consumables.
 Assist the wider team with ad hoc work and undertake small projects
that support the charity's work. e.g. Events, Logistical and Tech Support.

Environmental Advocate
 Work with the Operations Manager to promote environmental
awareness and encourage the charity adopts a green approach (e.g.,
recycling, energy use, carbon footprint).
 Identify and implement actions to reduce environmental impacts, costs,
and/or increase income under the direction of the Operations Manager.

Programme Delivery Director

About the role:

You will work closely with our regional and country teams to ensure contract delivery in line with objectives, and overall compliance with donor and MAG requirements. You will be a senior humanitarian professional with significant experience working in an NGO with a focus on international programme management and delivery across multiple country contexts. You will be an excellent communicator, with significant experience coordinating programme delivery and support functions including human resource management, logistics and procurement, finance and compliance. Oasis is looking for someone who can combine an entrepreneurial flair and excellent leadership skills to become the next Community Hub Leader at Woodview, Birmingham. 

The post holder will lead the development of the Hub, situated on the periphery of central Birmingham, serving the community of the Woodview estate, supporting the Oasis Academy and wider local community. About the Role

As Director of Finance, you’ll:

• Lead all aspects of financial strategy, reporting, and governance
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations and team leadership
• Provide critical insight and assurance to the Chief Executive and Trustees
• Responsible for executive on-call duties as part of a scheduled rota, handling urgent issues outside regular business hours.

We are looking for an ambitious new Legacy Giving Lead – someone who brings a passion for hospice care and wants to play a part in growing Legacy Giving at the Hospice. On average, we receive £1 million a year in legacy income but we are keen to grow and sustain this in the future.

This is a critical role that will work with colleagues across the Hospice to raise awareness of legacies and you will contribute your expertise to provide top-tier stewardship to our wonderful legators.

The opportunity...

This is a critical role that will develop and grow a high-performing Legacy Giving programme at The Hospice of St Francis.

You will personally identify, cultivate and steward legacy pledgers through an inspiring engagement programme that both raises awareness of legacies, encourages new pledgers and shows the impact they have on the Hospice’s services.

With a solid understanding of the administration of wills, you will liaise with executors and professional advisors and advise colleagues and the Board on best practice legacy administration.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Legacy Giving specialist to curate a new legacy programme, building on previous work, to grow income for the future.

The must haves:

• Fundraising Success: At least five years’ experience of delivering a Legacy Giving programme with success in driving acquisition and relationship management
• Technical expertise: Practical understanding of the practical implications of legal and financial aspects of wills
• Driving awareness and engagement: Experience of developing and executing legacy awareness initiatives internally and externally
• Systems and processes: using client relationship management systems, tracking KPIs and managing projects
• Proven expertise in relationship building internally and externally

The it would be great to haves:

• Experience working with professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants and wealth managers
• Knowledge of regular/mid-value or in-mem giving
• Experience of DonorFy
• Experience of fundraising in a Hospice setting
• Certificate in Charity Legacy Administration or Certificate in Legacy Fundraising

We are the largest sexual violence support provider in Wales, with 30 years’ experience of delivering specialist therapeutic support to adults and children affected by the trauma of rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse.

PURPOSE OF THE POST

To provide support to the Head of Corporate Services in developing, monitoring and maintaining systems to facilitate the smooth running of the organisation and to support the fulfilment of the Charity’s aims and objectives.  

GENERAL

Digital Marketing, Head of Website Transformation | £80,000 - £96,473 | 12-month FTC | Hybrid Working | London

For a complex, global organisation (100 million users in 100+ countries), we're recruiting a Digital Marketing, Head of Website Transformation for a 12-month FTC (with potential to extend to 3-years). Reporting to the Group Marketing Director, this is a senior position within the Marketing and Communications team and will be key in transforming the website infrastructure for the organisation, leading the selection and implementation of a new CMS, ensuring the chosen platform aligns with marketing strategies and business goals.

This role will oversee the strategic development of a new website ecosystem for the organisation to simplify the domain structure and CMS in use for over 300 business and country specific websites. The goal is to ensure a successful CMS implementation empowers the marketing and communications team to create, manage and optimise content effectively, driving business growth and audience engagement.

Main Duties:

• Create a roadmap for the website ecosystem development, content, and functionality to align with organisation marketing and communication goals
• Act as SRO for procurement and the implementation of a new CMS
• Oversee the transformation of more than 300 business and country-specific websites into a simplified unified domain and CMS structure
• Act as the main point of contact between the Marketing and Comms function and the Digital and Tech teams, providing business context to inform technical requirements of the project
• Build and nurture relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders

Person Specification:

• Degree or qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Business or demonstrable level of equivalent experience
• 10 years + of related experience across Digital Marketing
• Proven experience in managing complex websites and successful website migration projects with multiple stakeholders, regions and languages
• Leadership of teams both directly and indirectly
• Track record of managing SaaS vendors, and digital marketing agencies
• CIM Marketing competencies including the influence of strategy formulation, and influence of digital strategy
• Education, EdTech, Teaching or Exams sector experience would be highly desirable
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and project management skills
• Experience of CMS ecosystems i.e., Drupal, WordPress, and enterprise CMS platforms
