The Careers Officer is responsible for supporting the RSB's professional development programme through administration, evaluation and development. The successful candidate will help to ensure that the objectives in the RSB business plan are met, with an emphasis on developing and delivering events, resources and other careers support to meet the needs of our members and the wider scientific community. The Supporter Journey Officer is a new role within the Supporter Journey team. This role will suit a proactive team player who has experience in the fundraising sector together with a keen interest in, and knowledge of, supporter experience and stewardship. About the role

As the Supporter Journey Officer, you will assist the Supporter Journey Manager with the development and elevation of an integrated supporter journey programme at Versus Arthritis, ensuring our contactable community receives a consistent and highly engaging supporter experience, which builds loyalty and inspires action. 

This will include delivery of audience focused, integrated organisational journeys that build on our highly motivated community of supporters, based on shared values. These journeys will be managed across our platforms and audiences to significantly grow our voluntary income and lifetime value. Central to increasing loyalty and inspiring positive action from our audience, we share the extent of the work being done by Versus Arthritis for the 10 million people in the UK living with arthritis. Alongside product managers, you will work to optimise in-product journeys across the organisation through consultancy and shared learning. You will work collaboratively with the head of department and other directorate colleagues to create and embed a fundraising and engagement culture across the organisation.

This is a hugely exciting opportunity to join Gloucester Cathedral as it enters a key period of development. About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your data expertise to create real impact in communities across Wales. You will play a key role in improving how the organisation collects and uses data, with an initial focus on the new Welsh Voluntary Sector Barometer – a pioneering quarterly survey that captures timely and reliable evidence about the sector.

You will analyse data from the Barometer, existing platforms and external sources to generate meaningful insights that influence public policy and strengthen sector support. Your work will include:

• Analysing and interpreting data from multiple sources

• Monitoring trends and identifying sector challenges and opportunities
• Supporting teams and stakeholders to understand and use data effectively

Demand for our specialist tutoring programmes for Children Looked After, those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) continues to increase and we are seeking a dedicated and effective Partnerships Account Manager to join our team and support the increased demand for our provision and the continued scaling of our organisation.

The Organisation

Equal Education is a social enterprise working to improve outcomes and narrow the attainment gap for disadvantaged and under-resourced learners, including Children Looked After, those with SEND, and unaccompanied asylum seeking children. We have over 13 years’ experience delivering 1:1 tuition, working with hundreds of Schools and Local Authority partners across the country, reaching hundreds of pupils annually. 

As a member of the Fair Education Alliance, we believe in providing meaningful educational provision to students whose needs may not be best met within a traditional classroom environment, those who aren’t currently accessing education, or who benefit from additional 1:1 support. We work with over 400 qualified teachers to provide academic, subject specialised and individual tutoring and mentoring for children of all ages. Tutors provide pastoral care and work with pupils to increase engagement and attainment. Our programmes will help the students to overcome barriers to learning, help them build trusted relationships, increase their aspirations, and fulfil their potential. What is the Role?

The Partnerships Account Manager will drive business growth by securing new partnerships and managing key client accounts across designated regions. With a focus on building and sustaining long-term local council and school relationships, the Partnerships Account Manager will work closely with clients to understand their needs, expand our service offerings, and ensure the highest levels of satisfaction. The majority of our key client relationships are with local councils, so a knowledge of how they operate would be very useful. 

The post holder will have the opportunity to line manage junior member(s) of the team, who provide essential bid-writing and administrative support to facilitate efficient and effective client management.

This role would suit someone with proven ability to operate effectively in scaling organisations where processes are still being defined. This role suits someone who is adaptable, resilient, and confident working at pace amid change.

The role will be suited to those who have worked within an education setting and held the title: SENCO, Head of Department, Advisory Teacher, Inclusion Coordinator or Designated Teacher. The role will also be suited to those who have worked within a Local Authority setting and held the title: Commissioning Officer, Senior Case Officer, Case Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

   • Proactively seek new business opportunities within assigned regions to grow the client base.

   • Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with key clients, ensuring their evolving needs are met and service offerings are aligned.

   • Lead regular client review meetings to discuss progress, gather feedback, and identify additional service opportunities.

   • Manage internal relationships to ensure what matters to clients is communicated internally using the proper channels, to allow for effective delivery by our Operations teams. 

   • Maintain good internal stakeholder relationships with our Operations teams to ensure high client demands are balanced with our processes and team capacity. 

2. Strategic Planning and Development

   • Collaborate with Senior Leaders to develop strategies for client retention and growth.

   • Work closely with the wider partnerships team to align on strategic objectives and ensure seamless service delivery across functions.

   • Participate in client and industry events to represent the organisation, expand networks, and identify new business opportunities.

3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

   • Monitor client engagement, satisfaction levels, and service outcomes; produce regular progress reports for management.

   • Oversee tracking and analysis of client-related statistics to ensure targets are met and clients receive impactful, value-driven service.

   • Manage and track client data and prospect pipelines using CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.

   • Report to SLT on accounts, Tenders, Bids, client meetings on a regular basis

   • Be curious to explore our Salesforce system data, understanding and interpreting delivery and impact data 

4. Team Management and Support Coordination

   • Lead, mentor, and manage junior members of the team focused on bid application writing, tender management, and client-related administration.

   • Support direct reports in producing and reviewing high-quality application documents and responses that align with client requirements and enhance our partnership outcomes.

   • Provide oversight to ensure that administrative tasks are completed efficiently, supporting smooth client interactions and consistent follow-through.

   • Work with other area leaders, such as our ‘Allocations’ and Recruitment teams to ensure we can fulfil referrals

   • Foster a strong working relationship between the Partnerships team and Recruitment, to ensure our application strategy is informed by tutor availability. 

5. Bid Management and Process Improvement

   • Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders and bid applications, working closely with administrators to ensure high-quality and timely submissions.

   • Continuously review and improve internal processes to optimise bid management, client onboarding, and service delivery.

   • Report on bid submission performance, review client feedback to continuously improve. 

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Detailed knowledge of the UK Education Sector. 

• Experience working in the education sector or with local authorities, particularly in roles involving SEND or children’s services.

• Proven track record in client relationship management, with experience in sales or partnership development roles.

• Strong communication skills, particularly in face-to-face and telephone interactions, with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-lasting relationships.

• Experience managing a small team, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure high-performance standards.

• High level of empathy and commitment to supporting under-resourced and underserved communities.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet both short- and long-term deadlines effectively.

• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for tracking client data, leads, and progress.

• Proactive, problem-solving mindset, able to address issues independently and provide client-focused solutions.

• Able to work in a high pressure environment, whilst taking initiative, we would want the postholder to ask for support when needed.ed

Desirable:

• Exceptional written communication skills, with proven confidence in drafting, editing, and refining persuasive content across a variety of formats. Experience in bid and tender writing or grant applications is advantageous, though a background in producing compelling written materials for diverse purposes is equally valued.

The Senior Finance Officer role is key to coordinating the day-to-day financial functions of Watts Gallery Trust and supporting the Head of Finance and Resources in the effective and efficient management of Watts Gallery Trusts finances. We are looking for someone with experience of working in a finance function delivering comprehensive financial management, ideally within a charitable organisation. Experience in the arts, gallery and museum sector would be an advantage but is not essential. You should have thorough working knowledge of VAT and Payroll and have experience of using Sage. Duties include:

Financial management

·Deliver an effective and comprehensive financial management service to watts Gallery Limited to include:

o Assisting the Head of Finance in preparing financial forecasts to support financial planning

o Assisting Head of Finance in implementing financial policies and procedures as appropriate

o Ensuring the efficient maintenance of the financial records of Watts Gallery and Watts Gallery Trading Ltd.

o Assist the Head of Finance to produce timely, accurate and relevant monthly management accounts information for Watts Gallery Ltd and Watts Gallery Trading Ltd.

o Assist the Head of Finance in preparing the annual budget. Work with budget holders to review performance against budget and monitor the overall organisations finances to ensure we are operating within the agreed budget

o Assist with production of weekly trading data.

o With the Head of Finance, assist with the preparation of the year end statutory accounts and the audit file.

o Ensure that all accounting records are clear, transparent, and properly kept.

o Ensure all year-end journals, and audit schedules are prepared timely and in accordance with the auditor’s requirements.

Financial and Administrative operational duties:

· Ensure that day to day banking and finance administration duties are carried out:

o Monthly Payroll processing including submission to HMRC and NEST Pension

o Administering the NEST pension scheme

o Statutory returns, including surveys, funding monitoring and reporting

o Responsible for preparing quarterly VAT returns

o Coordinate Gift Aid reclaims

o Liaise with the Development team to develop systems and processes to improve gift aid claim procedures.

o Control of central purchasing

o Ensuring daily, month end, quarter end and year end routines are carried out.

o Reconcile the control accounts, inter-company accounts and conduct regular reviews of nominal ledgers, aged debtors and aged creditors.

o In conjunction with the Head of Finance help improve systems and controls surrounding all aspects of Watts Gallery’s financial management.

o Liaise with Retail and Admissions Manager to ensure cashing up processes are accurate, timely and monitored regularly.

o Be a source of technical advice and guidance on financial aspects of Watts Gallery’s activities.

o Contribute to the organisation’s strategic and operational business planning.

o Assist with financial aspects of grant applications.

o Various ad hoc projects to support the overall development of the finance function.

Staff management

o Monitor progress of finance staff vis a vis set targets

o To support the Head of Finance with development of finance staff to meet organisational objectives

o Day to day coordination of the Finance Team: overseeing accurate and timely processing of the sales and purchase ledgers, importing till data into Sage, cash and banking, administration of direct debits, credit card reconciliations, administering petty cash system and delivering excellent customer service to Watts Gallery’s internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Manage the day to day import of supporter data from external sources into the organisation’s CRM (Raiser's Edge), ensuring timely and accurate data processing
• Contribute to the delivery of high quality data services by preparing and executing data checks, addressing quality issues, and maintaining compliance with GDPR and internal policies
• Support the development and maintenance of data import routines
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand their data needs and provide efficient, user-focused support
• Assist with global changes and structural updates to the database, supporting broader data improvement projects
• Produce data selections and queries in Raiser's Edge to support campaigns, communications, and reporting
• Document new processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of data procedures
• Support financial reconciliation and reporting through accurate data recording and communication with the Finance team
• Promote best practices across the organisation in the use of data systems and protocols

Ideal candidate profile:

• Prior experience working within a charity or not-for-profit environment
• Proven experience of working with Raiser's Edge, with strong familiarity in managing large data sets and bulk import processes
• Knowledge and/or experience with Import-o-matic or similar data import tools (desirable)
• Strong understanding of data protection principles, including GDPR compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
• Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments and support non-technical users
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, growing team
