The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, enthusiastic and confident individual to join us as Programme Manager to develop and manage delivery of Phase 2 of the Early Connect Programme. Following successful delivery of Phase 1, Inspire has been selected to deliver Phase 2 of this pilot programme alongside the GLA/DFE and lead partners Rinova.

This role has responsibility for developing and delivering work related learning activities for young people with the aim of enhancing their skills and understanding of future career opportunities and transitioning into apprenticeships.

All delivery is aimed towards enabling young people to learn about apprenticeship opportunities and how to position themselves to apply and move into employment as an apprentice. You will work closely with young people, employers and business volunteers to deliver fun, engaging and labour market-relevant careers related support and workshops to young people in both online and in-person formats. You will have the chance to be creative through planning, delivering and evaluating the programme to ensure services are current and meet the stakeholder needs.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Managing development, delivery and coordination of work related learning activities for phase 2 of the Early Connect programme.
• Accountable for achieving agreed outcomes, outputs and personal targets including recruitment, employability training and learner progression targets.
• Managing a caseload of participants requiring Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG), confidence building and employability training.
• Accurately managing data and reporting requirements of funders of the Early Connect programme.
• Maintaining and building effective relationships with programme participants and stakeholders.

Your contribution to the team
You will support all financial aspects of budgeting, reporting, compliance and financial management of grants managed by ARTICLE 19, including all finance-related work with grant-receiving partners. The role is a key part of improving our programme delivery by supporting grant budget holders.

​What you can expect in a typical day

• To support production of financial reports in compliance with donor and internal ARTICLE 19 requirements for a portfolio of projects managed by ARTICLE 19.
• To generate and review transactional reports and follow through as necessary with corrections and adjustments.
• To receive, process and account for expenditure by grant partners, including reviewing supporting documentation.

What you will bring to the role

• Qualified accountant with a CCAB recognised qualification, or working towards qualification, or qualified through relevant work experience.
• Understanding of accounting for restricted income and expenditure in line with international nonprofit financial reporting standards and donor requirements.
• Experience in partner due diligence and partner finance management, including reviewing financial capacity, assessing financial risk, and supporting partners to strengthen financial systems and compliance.
• Experience of working with overseas partners and offices, understanding different cultural and regulatory environments

We are looking for a dedicated professional to provide business support across the directorate, working closely with senior operational leaders to drive the implementation and development of our services. This role will be instrumental in supporting new service initiatives and collaborating with other directorates and external partners, such as the NHS and charity organisations, to help us achieve our strategic goals.

· Relevant experience OR qualification in Youth & Community (JNC), Social Work (QSW) or SEND.

· Proven experience working with young people ‘at risk’.

· Reliability, with a flexible approach to changes and able to work unsociable hours.

Our partner seeks an all-round finance manager to take on the responsibility for supporting the smooth running of the finance function for a 3 month period.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the finance functions of the main charity and its associated trading entity, maintaining accuracy and efficiency across all financial records and transactions.
• Prepare monthly management accounts & analysis, ensuring these are properly communicated with budget holders.
• Prepare and present financial summaries and insights to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership and the Board of Trustees
• Maintain the cashflow forecast.
• Ensure all financial practices align with tax regulations, including VAT, Gift Aid submissions, and the preparation of required filings, including quarterly VAT returns.
• Process the payroll and administer the pension scheme.
• Liaise with external suppliers and manage banking arrangements.

Requirements

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant, with experience working in a similar role within a charity in the UK.
• Experience of preparing monthly management accounts, cashflow forecast, and summaries for senior leadership.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills, able to work effectively with finance, non-finance and senior leadership team members.

This is a 3-4 month fixed-term contract with an immediate start preferred. The organisation offers hybrid or remote working from the UK; the successful candidate will need to be in the UK for the duration of the contract, and therefore have the right to work.

POST DETAILS

Post Title: Programme Manager

Location: Belfast/Sligo

Salary: £36,000/€41,400

JOB SUMMARY:

The Programme Manager is a key role in the Rio Ferdinand Foundation’s isle of Ireland team. This post is responsible for managing an exciting new cross-border PEACE Academy programme in Belfast and Sligo, funded by the Special EU Programme Body (SEUPB) PEACEPLUS programme https://www.seupb.eu/

The aim of this new three-year programme, is to deliver and evidence a PEACE Academy pathway of engagement, learning, social action and employability that will inspire young people from communities in Northern Ireland and Ireland to create shared experiences and build a long-term response to sectarianism, racism and hate on a cross community and cross border basis.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role will:

§  Establish and develop our new PEACE Academy Programme in partnership with Glentoran FC and Sligo Rovers FC together with a network of grass-root partners, as well as community policing and other strategic stakeholders.

§  Line manage a new programme staff team including 2x Regional Coordinators, a part time Training Lead, part time Monitoring Officer, a part time Admin Officer and a part time Finance Officer as well as sessional staff.

§  Lead and manage a three-year cross border and cross community youth and community development programme engaging Catholic / Nationalist / Republican (CNR), Protestant/ Unionist/ Loyalist (PUL), and newcomer communities.

§  Oversee the development of sessions which utilise youth culture as a platform for personal development, working with your staff team to design, deliver and manage engaging sessions and opportunities utilising music and the creative arts, sport, and digital media.

§  Develop, and oversee the delivery of our youth development pathway across both regions, including twice weekly sessions, workshops, seminars and accredited training pathways, mentoring, cross-border events and initiatives, careers events and pathways with a range of commercial partners, and strategic stakeholder engagement.

§  Quality assure the delivery of sessions and outputs linked to the personal development of young people. 

§  Encourage and support the involvement of volunteers from the local community.

§  Develop positive relationships with key strategic partners involved in the project and ensure links are made and information shared with appropriate agencies.

§  Work closely with our CEO and Director for Ireland & Northern Ireland on the strategic positioning and development of the Foundation and the legacy of the PEACE Academy programme.

§  Work with our Director of Operations to establish and implement a robust monitoring, evaluation and learning framework for the programme with key data capture tools in place from the outset.

§  Be responsible for the delivery of specified targets for the programme through producing regular action plans and work programmes, ensuring that all project planning, monitoring, and evaluation procedures are implemented and adhered to.

§  Ensure all monitoring data is captured and recorded against targets ensuring funder reports are produced and meetings attended as and when required.

§  Ensure all administrative and financial functions of the programme are conducted in accordance with funder requirements

§  Work with our Directors on the financial and wider reporting of the programme as required by our funder.

§  Work with an external monitoring agency to ensure their independent impact evaluation is completed alongside our own internal monitoring.

§  Work with our Director of Development on shaping and implementing a communications strategy for the PEACE Academy.

§  Keep up to date with local and regional trends in sports/arts for social change and work with young people.

§  Actively represent Rio Ferdinand Foundation at working groups, initiatives, and events.

§  Assist and contribute to the on-going development and strategy of the Rio Ferdinand Foundation’s work in Sligo and Belfast as well as across the island of Ireland.

§  Develop and maintain key relationships with partners from across various sectors including, statutory, private, business and third sectors.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

· Work flexibly where appropriate on evening, weekends and during school holidays to ensure full and supportive delivery of the programme.

· Undertake new training to develop work related skills and knowledge

· Undertake any other related responsibilities commensurate with the evolving objectives of the post and the evolution of the Foundation, as may reasonably be requested

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

§  Relevant academic/industry qualifications: e.g. Project Management, Youth Work, Certificate in Community Sports Work (CCSW), Arts Practitioner,  etc.

§  Ideally educated to degree standard or equivalent through experience

§  An appropriate qualification relevant to working with young people

§  Sports, Arts or Digital Media qualification (desirable)

Experience

§  Have at least five years’ experience of working with disaffected young people

§  Have at least three years’ experience of supervising and managing staff

§  A proven track record of forming productive relationships with a wide variety of organisations and individuals from diverse backgrounds and multi-agency co-ordination

§  Planning, delivering, and managing community focused, social inclusion initiatives, ideally working with local authorities, police, sports clubs and youth justice groups

§  Experience of a wide range of communication media and confident in delivering presentations, developing proposals, and writing reports for varied audiences

§  Experience of working on a multi-partner project

§  A good understanding of community engagement projects

§  Experience of campaigns, youth social action programming and event management

§  Experience of managing an SEUPB Programme or similar (desirable)

Knowledge

§  A thorough understanding of government policies and plans for community sport and creative arts, along with relevant opportunities for young people’s development

About the Role

Gaddum is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to provide maternity cover for a key leadership role. This is a time-limited opportunity to contribute to the delivery and evaluation of one of Greater Manchester’s most ambitious adult social care transformation programmes: the Accelerating Reform Fund (ARF). In GM, our projects focus on improving the identification and support for unpaid carers through the hospital discharge pathway and improving community-based care arrangements via Shared Lives schemes.

As Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining delivery momentum, nurturing established relationships, and supporting the system-wide monitoring and evaluation of the programme. You’ll bring excellent coordination, stakeholder engagement, and evaluation skills, ensuring that business as usual continues smoothly and that Gaddum plays its full role in enabling the GM system to capture and evidence the impact of the ARF.

Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) provides expert oversight and support across the ARF projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective delivery. As per their job title, they project manage the infrastructure element of the entire GM programme.

They coordinate efforts across various sectors, manage stakeholder engagement, and are responsible for the integrated approach to risk management, data governance, and financial oversight. The role is accountable to Gaddum’s CEO, and reports to them. It has been central in ensuring the successful execution of GM's vision and objectives for the ARF.

Key Responsibilities

Continued and Strong Programme Delivery
• Maintain oversight and coordination of ARF activities on behalf of Gaddum, ensuring that timelines, risks, and communications are effectively managed.
• Chair or coordinate relevant meetings, workshops, and learning sessions with partners across health, social care, VCSE, and lived experience networks.
• Support the continuation of established coproduction approaches and ensure that lived experience remains central to the delivery of the programme.
• Maintain key project documentation including risk registers, action logs, and shared work plans.
• Provide line management to the Project Administrator, ensuring effective consortium secretariat and communication functions are upheld.
• Provide regular updates to the project’s Senior Lead within the Adult Social Care Transformation Team in NHS GM Integrated Care.
• Oversee the work of the ARF Lived Experience Coordinator (line managed by the Engagement and Coproduction Service Manager) to ensure this workstream is effectively aligned with the overall ARF project strategy and timeline.

Evaluation and Impact
• Lead, as the Greater Manchester system infrastructure, the development and delivery of an end-of-programme learning and evaluation event, currently planned for March – April 2026.
• Contribute to regular reporting cycles and ensure Gaddum’s role in evaluation is clearly communicated to stakeholders and commissioners.
• Act as a lead point of contact for evaluation activities, both locally and nationally, working closely with Ipsos, the national evaluation partner.
• Support system partners to engage meaningfully in the development of the GM Theory of Change, ensuring relevant data and insights are gathered and shared.
• Coordinate data collation and reporting in collaboration with the consortium, supporting the integration of data systems where needed, and ensuring alignment with governance and compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationships
• Sustain the strong and positive relationships with local authorities, health and care organisations, the VCSE sector, and carers’ networks.
• Provide advice, challenge, and coordination to ensure consistent and inclusive engagement across the partnership.
• Escalate emerging issues or risks to the CEO and consortium where necessary, supporting collaborative problem-solving.

Financial and Contractual Support
• Work closely with Manchester City Council’s finance leads and Gaddum’s internal team to track spend, support monitoring returns, and ensure financial accountability.
• Contract manage and support the appointed creative agency leading on our Shared Lives marketing and communications campaign.
Other key tasks & responsibilities of the role
• Line Management: Supervise the Project Administrator, ensuring they provide effective secretariat responsibilities for the consortium.
• Risk Management: Keep stakeholders well-informed about risks, strategies, and progress. With the consortium, co-design and manage risk register elements, providing rapid escalation of issues to the CEO and consortium, developing solutions where necessary.
• Troubleshooting: Take all reasonable steps to enable system partners to identify barriers and develop solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Establish and maintain ongoing feedback loops, making necessary adjustments to the project’s approach based on stakeholder input and real-world outcomes.
• Coordination of reporting: Work closely with SCIE and GM ARF stakeholders to ensure data integration and reporting, aligning regional data
with national datasets and performance metrics.
• Contracting and Compliance: Ensure adherence to contracting and compliance requirements, maintaining robust monitoring and reporting systems
• Systems Change Facilitation: Lead on systems change initiatives, ensuring that all project components are aligned with the strategic goals and objectives of the ARF programme.

The Role 

Fundraising and Impact Coordinator

o Assist in the planning and execution of a diverse range of fundraising applications, events and community initiatives

o Support the management of event logistics, including participant communication, volunteer coordination, and on-the-day activities

About the opportunity

We're in a fantastic position to have recently have partnered with the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) for an evaluation of our programmes. 

We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in Dorset.

• The Dorset Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. They attend the weekly tutoring sessions at each school, as well as overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring, always working to deliver a great impact.
• The Dorset Programme Coordinator supports the recruitment of volunteer tutors, manages the tutor sign up process, develops relationships with schools including their Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers, collects data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, and works with other internal teams on business development opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities
 

• Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. This includes working closely to manage all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; regularly attending weekly tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery, using data to reliably assess programme performance.
• Responsible for overseeing the quality of tutoring, engaging in quality assurance processes, and providing feedback to volunteer tutors to ensure effective and impactful delivery. • Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers. Supporting the Programme Manager with strategies to retain and sustain school partnerships.
• Update and accurately maintain Action Tutoring’s database, including collecting timely data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, such as attendance records, baseline and interim assessments and pupil surveys. Reporting regularly on key performance indicators to key stakeholders and using them to enhance programme delivery. Work with the Programme Manager on business development, approaching new schools that might be interested in working with Action Tutoring.
• Proactively report to the Programme Manager on the details of Action Tutoring’s operations in their partner schools.
