The Head of Partnerships will play a key role in managing Inter Mediate's relationships with institutional donors, foundations, governments and philanthropic partners. The postholder will coordinate donor engagement across the organisation, oversee grant management and reporting, identify new funding opportunities and support the development of high-quality funding proposals. S/he also leads on our internal quality assurance, research and reporting processes, line managing the Research and Reporting Officer.

Working closely with the senior leadership, programme teams and finance colleagues, you will help ensure that Inter Mediate maintains strong partnerships with its existing funders while expanding its network of supporters. This is a collaborative, externally-facing role suited to someone with strong relationship management skills, excellent organisational ability and experience of securing and managing funding within the international development, peacebuilding or humanitarian sectors.

With at least 7 years' experience in partnerships, fundraising, business development or grant management in the international development, humanitarian or peacebuilding sectors, you will have demonstrable experience managing relationships with institutional donors, foundations and/or HNWIs, and a track record of successful funding proposals and overseeing donor reporting.

You have excellent written communication skills, strong project management skills, and superb interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with proven ability to work collaboratively across teams.

You will ideally have experience working in conflict-affected or politically sensitive contexts, be well-versed in monitoring, evaluation and learning approaches and have working knowledge of grant management systems or CRM platforms.

You will lead on partnership stewardship, employee fundraising, volunteering, sponsorship opportunities, impact reporting, renewal conversations and partnership growth. You will also help identify opportunities for corporate partners to engage with challenge events, special events, public fundraising campaigns and Wish Community experiences.

As a Shop Manager for Alder Hey Children’s Charity, you will deliver sales, Gift Aid and profit targets to generate income for our charity. You will empower and lead a diverse shop team, including volunteers, always demonstrating our Charity Values of:

The Shop Manager will be an integral part of the wider Charity team. 

Income Generation

• Accountable for the shop’s performance in relation to all sales targets and Gift Aid targets and KPI’s. Ensuring that the results are communicated to the shop team and that all staff and volunteers are aware of, understand and are working to meet/exceed the agreed targets and KPI’s.
• Actively drive stock generation through community engagement and donor relationships
• Ensure maximum stock availability through effective stock control and shop replenishment.
• Continually review the rotation, quality, and replenishment of stock in order to maximise sales.
• Achieve the optimum price point for all stock items and promotional merchandise for seasonal and window themes, following the principles of Alder Hey Children’s Charity price guidelines.

The Head of Partnerships and Development will lead Multibank Scotland’s partnership and development activity.

The partnerships portfolio will span our full tier of existing corporate partners, including leading the day-to-day management, organisation and activation of our high-profile partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing. You will also play a vital role in managing the expansion of corporate partnerships for our global flagship event the Wings for Life World Run. Alongside this, supporting the Senior Partnerships Manager on our wider corporate new business strategy.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a driven, proactive professional with a proven track record of managing complex partnerships across the private or third sectors, with a firm grasp of corporate fundraising.

You have a history in identifying, researching and securing high value partnerships to help maximise corporate income opportunities, and creating a tailored approach to each one. Strong communication skills are key, particularly the ability to draft and deliver pitches to diverse audiences and build productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects at one time and operate effectively under pressure within a fast-paced environment. The Wigan Crisis Space forms part of the Greater Manchester VCSE crisis pathway, we are non- clinical alternative to A&E. The focus of our work is to offer timely support to adults who are experiencing mental and emotional distress and suicide ideation. The Crisis Space is an out of hours service that creates a safe space for adults to access timely compassionate support from trained recovery workers.

The Service Manager will have responsibility to line manage two Team Leaders, and overall leadership for the staff team working within the service. We are looking for a values driven leader who can work closely with the Operational Manager to support and develop the service to increase our reach to adults who are experiencing a MH crisis.

Main Responsibilities:

· working within the Wigan Crisis Space to provide leadership and management to the staff team to ensure the delivery of a safe, effective and appropriate service to adults living within the Borough of Wigan

· ensuring that the service is integrated, comprehensive and makes a difference to people using it, with clear focus on improving mental and emotional health and wellbeing and social outcomes meaning that people will be healthier, safer, happier, more resilient, more independent and better able to enjoy life opportunities.

· Facilitating opportunities for staff, volunteers and people who use the service to contribute to the ongoing development of the Crisis Space by sharing learning, listening and sharing and responding to feedback and by using the feedback from this to create and implement a continuous development plan

· Experience of managing and leading teams within health, social care, voluntary sector or community-based services, including supervision, performance management and staff development.

· Experience of working with adults experiencing mental health challenges, including safeguarding, risk management, partnership working and achieving positive service outcomes

· Strong interpersonal skills, with the confidence and ability to present and communicate information effectively both in person and using a range of mediums to internal and external stakeholders, adults, children, young people and funders.

About the Role

OneRichmond is seeking an experienced and motivated Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to support the Director in developing and delivering our philanthropy and partnerships strategy.

We are recruiting three Senior Development Managers to join our Major Gifts Team. There is one permanent opportunity and two 14-month maternity cover roles. Each postholder will manage a portfolio of alumni and supporters with the potential to make gifts of between £100k and £1m. You will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors, working closely with senior leaders, academics and colleagues across the University to develop compelling opportunities for support.

• Senior Development Manager

This permanent position is a broad major gifts role working across Durham’s campaign priorities, who will also take a lead on legacies and planned giving, helping to develop this work across the wider team and dealing sensitively with wills, estates and executors where the University is named as a beneficiary.

• Senior Development Manager (Sciences)

This mat cover role will focus on the Faculty of Science, particularly Computer Science, Physics and Mathematical Sciences. It will also include student and graduate enterprise and enrichment activity connected to the Venture Lab.

• Senior Development Manager (Arts and Humanities)

This mat cover role has a varied portfolio that includes the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Libraries and Special Collections, alongside student enrichment opportunities across sport, theatre and music.

What we are looking for

We are seeking confident, relationship-led fundraisers who can manage a portfolio, build trust with senior stakeholders and move significant opportunities forward. You will bring experience of fundraising, stewardship, business development or another relevant client-facing environment, together with evidence of securing significant support or developing high-value relationships.

Higher education experience would be helpful, but it is not essential. We welcome candidates from charities and other values-led organisations who can demonstrate strong judgement, curiosity, initiative and the ability to communicate a compelling story.
