- Planning and developing successful fundraising strategies and action plans.

The role is varied and interesting - managing a portfolio of clients and supporting them directly or strategically with their fundraising, impact evaluation and organisational development. Our consultants are all employees and we work closely together as a supportive team, sharing and developing skills and knowledge. We anticipate the appointee may not hold experience across all core areas of our services. We will enable the appointee to focus on projects that play to their strengths and experience and provide further support and training as necessary.
Based from home (must be UK resident), with ad hoc client and team meetings/socials (all travel paid), mostly within England. All IT equipment provided. Full-time or part-time (minimum 0.8 FTE - 28 hrs).

The role will be a mixture of organising events, project management, administration, research and relationship building. What you’ll do – the key responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of our partnership events including our Academy Visitor Days, as well as designing and implementing new stakeholder engagement initiatives based on previous stakeholder feedback.
- Support with, and at times lead the production of documents and communications for internal and external audiences, for example event invites, guest lists, handbooks, letter templates and agendas. This will include producing reports which use data to demonstrate the impact of our programmes to forces.
- Support with our sales campaign and contracting work through regular reporting, maintaining accurate records and providing updates to senior leadership and relevant internal stakeholders. This may include identifying opportunities for Police Now colleagues to attend sector events to have the greatest possible impact on policing in England & Wales.
- Collaborate with colleagues from across Police Now to support a strong customer experience for Police Now’s partner forces; for example, attending cross-departmental meetings and through developing Police Now’s use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce.
- Provide wider administrative support to the Force Partnerships team. Frequent travel to the London office (2-3 days a week), along with regular travel to events and forces nationally will be required for this role.

General Overview of Role
The post-holder will be responsible for writing bid applications within Combat Stress. This will include:
- Support the development and delivery of Combat Stress's bid writing under the leadership of the Director of Fundraising (DoF) and Head of Trusts and Foundations (HTF), in order to support our role as a specialist UK-wide provider of mental health services to veterans with complex mental health needs.
- With guidance and support from DoF and HoTF contribute to the various stages of a bid or tender process.
- Support the team in managing service contracts.
- Ensure compliance with the business development framework and governance processes - with support from DoF and HoTF.
Main Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Complete bid writing in support of the business development agenda of Combat Stress, working with all departments in promoting our services to attract new business and supporting cost-effective service delivery.

Community and Events Fundraising Manager

As our experienced Community and Events Manager, you will manage our community and events fundraising at WaterAid, taking ownership of how this programme grows and evolves. Working closely with the Community, Events and Education Team Lead, you’ll shape and deliver an ambitious strategy across our third-party events portfolio, bespoke virtual fundraising products, DIY fundraising, community and schools fundraising.
With the freedom to explore new ideas and approaches, you'll help shape the future of our community and events programme. Building on strong foundations and with clear potential for growth, you’ll be instrumental in expanding our reach and generating essential funds to provide clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to the communities where we work.
You’ll also lead and support a talented team of two fundraisers, guiding their development and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment. This role
