At Yorkshire Cancer Community, our vision is for everyone affected by cancer to have the best support possible. We are a patient-led charity, with a dedicated team of volunteers and staff who are passionate about helping anyone affected by cancer.
Working in partnership with West Yorkshire & Harrogate Cancer Alliance (WYHCA), we aim to help reduce cancer rates through our Cancer SMART project, which raises awareness of the signs and symptoms of cancer, so people are better informed, attend screening and know where to go for help.
Our Patient VIEW project is dedicated to representing the voices of patients, carers and service users, ensuring they are central to decision-making processes within cancer care.
We provide impartial and independent information and listen to those affected by cancer to ensure that they are supported. We signpost to other charities and support groups, share information, recruit for research studies and share stories via our monthly newsletter.
As manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring we reach our goals, by building relationships with other charities, organisations and diverse groups, recruiting volunteers, working with our board of trustees, working in partnership with the WYHCA, and line management of our two staff members – Patient VIEW coordinator (FT) and administrator (PT).

Key Tasks

Relationship Management

As the key representative and ambassador for rent and service charges for our client's business, you will manage key processes and stakeholder relationships. Working within the Finance directorate of around 60 people, you will manage a small team and will contribute to the strategic direction of the function.
Within this position you will provide an expert advisory service to both service owners and budget holders, ensuring Value for Money for customers whilst maximising rent and service charge recovery for the Group.
- With proven experience from within a rent and service charge management position, you will have strong leasehold and housing legislation knowledge.

Auriga Services is looking for a Director of Client Partnerships to lead our partnership management, operational delivery, and business development functions, overseeing a team of circa 55 FTE and shaping the future of our client relationships.

Your Role
As the Director of Client Partnerships, you will be responsible for:
- Leading strategic initiatives to drive business income growth and enhance cost efficiency.
- Overseeing operational service delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes for clients.
- Managing and mentoring senior leaders, including Partnership Managers, Head of Advice Services, Head of Service Delivery, and Head of Business Development.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Executive Team, Board of Directors, clients, and external partners.
- Driving technological innovation in collaboration with the Head of IT to improve client journeys and operational efficiencies.
- Monitoring and optimizing financial performance, ensuring cost-effective strategies are implemented.
- Staying ahead of market trends to identify new opportunities for business growth and strategic partnerships.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in Business, Management, Social Sciences or a related field is desirable, or equivalent experience in a senior client-facing or strategic role.
- Proven senior leadership experience within client management, partnerships, and/or business development.
- A strong commercial mindset with a track record of driving growth and operational excellence.
- Expertise in strategic client relationship management and partnership development.
- Strong leadership skills in managing cross-functional teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Knowledge of digital tools and technology to enhance client experience and operational effectiveness.
- Financial acumen and experience in budget management and resource optimization.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

We are working in partnership with Emmaus Village Carlton (EVC), a flagship Emmaus community, who give hope and a sense of belonging to those who have experienced homelessness or social exclusion by creating a safe and supported community and opportunities to develop. They are a respected local charity and social enterprise with a unique self-funded model, and capacity for up to 42 Companions to live and work on site, who are supported by the staff team and volunteers.
They are now seeking a new Finance Manager, who will be a pro-active member of the Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO. The Finance Manager will need to have a combination of strategic, practical and commercial skills in order to provide effective financial leadership and performance management to support business potential and the delivery of financial targets. Being a hands-on member of the Leadership Team who is a visible and known by EVC’s Companions, staff, volunteers and Trustees will be essential.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or part qualified with significant relevant experience, including a minimum of three years’ experience in financial reporting, financial planning, strategic planning and budgeting.
- Minimum two years’ experience in a management or leadership role.
- Understanding of commercial business principles and practices.

We are looking to recruit a motivated and talented individual with strong project management skills to lead the delivery of the training function within the BSI. Reporting directly to the Director of Events and Training, and in collaboration with the wider BSI team, the Training Manager will be responsible for the delivery of existing training programmes and for devising, setting up and rolling out new training courses by working with BSI members to develop content and curricula, utilising different platforms from face-to-face to remote learning and supporting marketing of the courses to relevant sectors.
This role is responsible for engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to help identify training needs and opportunities that the BSI can meet. This will include opportunities in several sectors including clinical, scientific and public/patient focused. Using strong commercial acumen, the Training Manager will be critical in the continued development and growth of the training function to generate significant new income for the BSI.
Senior Fundraising and Corporate Sponsorship Officer
Hours: 37 per week

Salary: £31,689 pro rata
Job Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced fundraising and corporate sponsorship officer to lead our small and friendly fundraising team and be responsible for creating a fundraising strategy, that will diversify and grow our income, in order to meet the fundraising targets set by our Board and thereby support the vital services we deliver to people affected by domestic abuse across Norfolk and Suffolk.
Essential requirements:
Relevant management qualification at level 3 or above and/or proven experience of managing staff.
Proven experience of income generation for not-for-profit organisations, through individual giving, corporate partnerships, grants, and community fundraising, and organising and running events.
Proven experience of planning and executing fundraising campaigns with a focus on corporate relationships.
A strong social purpose with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, businesses and funders.
Active networking links within the Counties of Norfolk and Suffolk.
Great at stakeholder engagement and management.
Ability to give presentations to large groups of people and engage with people on a 1:1 basis.
Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, able to interact professionally at all levels.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and able to always respond calmly and professionally.
Good organisational and project management skills.
Driving licence and own transportation to travel across Norfolk and Suffolk. Advanced IT and computer skills i.e. Word, Excel, Canva, Photoshop etc.
Ability to be reliable and flexible with working hours to meet the needs of the organisation i.e. promotional presentations and events at the weekend or evening.
