Our mission is to bring hope and positive change to children and families.  To achieve this we deliver a range of services.  The Catholic Children’s Society (CCS) is one of the largest providers of mental health services to schools in London.  Currently we have over 50 counsellors/therapists working on-site in approximately 70 schools (both Catholic non-Catholic).  We also provide high quality early years education and family support, including offering emergency assistance for families in crisis.

About the role

The P&C Administrative Assistant will be based in our London office (two days a week), sharing time between general HR administrative and general office support duties. The role will support the People & Culture function on general HR and administrative tasks.

As Head of Operations & Governance, you will be responsible for overseeing the back-office operations of the charity. You will be a key point of contact for the team and support the Executive Director to ensure smooth, efficient and compliant operations.

You will be a senior member of the team, responsible for ensuring that PINF operates within its legal and regulatory framework, including in relation to charity, corporate, tax, employment and data protection regulations. The role involves liaising with the Chair, Board of Trustees, Executive Director, legal advisors and regulators to support best practice in financial management, governance, risk management and compliance.  

Duties and responsibilities 

• Financial Management 

• Ensure consistent delivery and quality of finance operations, including transactions processing, which will involve managing a bookkeeping service.

• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, management accounts and project budgets.

• Lead on the financial aspects of fundraising, contract management, and funder reporting. Including managing restricted and unrestricted funding. 

• Oversee the process of preparing statutory accounts, including liaising with accountants and auditors.

• Maintain internal controls and policies to protect assets, prevent fraud, and ensure business continuity.

A major change project has taken place over the last few years to transform our IT systems and support. We have moved to a cloud solution based on Microsoft 365. Purpose of the Role

The role of the Project Officer – CSO Services will lead on the coordination and management of international pro bono legal opportunities.. The Charity has a direct front end CRM user base of around 30 staff. It also has a power platforms bespoke portal for between 64-120 regional staff to login to, who contribute to the membership programme, creating new memberships and managing the renewals process which happens each year. It also has a power portals Donation portal which directly integrates to Dynamics 365 and Business central. This role is to support our internal staff (30) and external Staff (120) with the day to day activities ensuring business processes are fit for purpose and seek out possible improvements in the long term roadmap.

• Data architecture– Lead on the review and structure of data on CRM.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

Purpose of the role

As Senior Finance Officer, you will play a vital role at World Heart Beat, ensuring the effective day-to-day management of finances, financial administration, and bookkeeping, as well as informing future business planning. You will work with key personnel across the team, providing guidance and leadership in relation to budget management and financial information to support funding applications and stewardship. Day Care Officer – Day Care Centres 

Age UK Camden Day Care Centres are looking to recruit a Day Care Officer to cover 15 hours a week in shifts (3 x 5 hours) across our two Day Care Centres. 

There is a need to be flexible to be able to cover all days Monday to Friday and days are subject to change based on the rota. 

Our Centres provide a wide range of activities as well as being a specialist Day Care Centres caring for older people with complex needs. The Day Care Centres also provide a hot lunch and a range of special events. 

We have a dedicated, specialist team supporting people with care needs, including those living with mild - moderate dementia and complex needs.

About the Role

As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for setting up and updating all property and resident accounts on the rental ledger system and for ensuring that rental income in correctly reflected on both the rent and finance systems on a timely basis.

You will work closely with project staff and housing benefit departments regarding rental income queries and ensure that rental income is received in accordance with the charity’s internal financial controls and all legal regulatory requirements are complied with. The role will involve some sales ledger work, under the supervision of the Rental Income Business Partner.

Some Key responsibilities include:

• Rental Ledger and rental collection

• Responsible for reviewing the rental income bank account and accurately reflecting all receipts onto the rental income system

• Identify any overpayments and request the necessary refunds

• Produce and send out monthly rent arrears and voids

• Process monthly rent write-offs

• Reconcile and close monthly accounts

• Raise rental income sales invoices and follow up on late payments

About You

You’ll be a highly organised individual, with excellent interpersonal skills. You will be comfortable working independently and communicating effectively with colleagues across the organisation.

Essential skills and experience:

• Good knowledge of rental income accounting and processes e.g. Housing Benefits

• Experience of rental income accounting systems, preferably including Omni

• Good Excel skills and well as other Microsoft packages.

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

What's the Job?

LSESU is looking for a proactive and driven Facility Coordinator to oversee the daily supervision and operation of our sports facilities. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the spaces, from health and safety compliance to customer service excellence. You’ll also manage internal and external bookings, including LSE Sports Clubs, and coordinate weekly sports events such as BUCS, Club and Society events and private hires from external companies. 
 

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Ops and Facility Manager to deliver the strategic vision for our facilities, focusing on enhancing the user experience. You will oversee training procedures, incident reporting, and various administrative tasks, including financial reporting and facility usage tracking. 
 

You’ll collaborate closely with both staff and students, playing an active part in day-to-day operations and strategic development of the sports facilities. Your work will have a direct impact on the student experience at LSE, ensuring the seamless running of the facilities and successful execution of sporting events, whilst also managing bookings and supporting continuous improvements and innovations.

Job Description

The Senior Service Manager (SSM) provides strategic oversight of Redthread Services (currently working with 9 hospitals in London and Birmingham) providing line management to ensure high quality delivery that improves outcomes for children and young people and be successful in seeking opportunities for further growth. The SSM will work with the YPF SMT and will take a lead role in implementing our YPF strategy in this area, including taking and making opportunities to grow our services, and supporting new service implementation as need requires.

The role can be home based, but time spent in each of the services alongside travel across the UK will be required in order to support delivery and growth of  services across the Hub.  The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering and managing similar services and the right mix of leadership, passion and energy, and an innovative nature. A proven track record in engaging with positive relationships with commissioners and securing new business is essential. The role will involve promoting, connecting and building services in order to impact the lives of vulnerable young people with complex needs.

Duties and accountabilities are split into two core areas, management and development of Redthread service delivery,  including direct management and coordination ensuring high performance that improves outcomes for children and young peopleand supporting implementation of the YPF growth strategy

• Line management of service managers and operational oversight of service contracts.
• Supporting the implementation of the YPF strategy, including making opportunities for organic and new growth. Work with Business Development and other business partners and engage Commissioners and other funders to develop our delivery models and to bid for services (organic growth and nationally).
• Supporting the implementation of the Clinical Governance policy and responsible for ensuring relevant services adhere to this guidance.
• Contribute to national stakeholder engagement plans and local, geographical influencer plans to promote our hospital based youth work offer and support growth.
• Ensure that staff and volunteers within services are engaged with Redthread’s vision and strategic plan, are motivated and understand their role and contribution to the wider organisation.
• Provide robust management and accountability for service budgets and in building budgets for new services working closely with Redthread’s finance business partner.
• Monitor and ensure that contractual commitments are met and that service performance is maximised; acting promptly to respond to and resolve performance and compliance issues. A core component of the role will be to ensure the confidence of our Commissioners including by assuring the quality of delivery, through Brilliant Basics audit, review, observation and ongoing service development.
• Ensure the provision of high quality reports for Redthread, commissioners and other strategic groups on the work of the services with clear evidence of quantitative and qualitative outputs – particularly signing off service commissioner reports / performance prior to external distribution.
• Ensure that services operate effective multi-agency working processes, such as referral, assessment and review and to ensure a high quality standard of lead professional, meeting chairpersonship and co-ordination from workers.
• Promote and support the participation of service users so that they are appropriately informed, consulted and involved in their own plans and the design and delivery of services.
• Be responsible for ensuring that all service activity is safe for all involved, to include adherence to Redthread’s health and safety policies including safeguarding, accidents, incident and injury reporting, fire safety and risk assessment. Review audit activity within services and work to ensure a consistent approach across services.
• Undertake other duties as required to ensure the effective delivery of the services.

Qualifications

Professional qualification in a relevant discipline such as youth, community or management or demonstrable equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge and understanding of relevant current issues and research (including emerging trends youth violence work and associated areas of risk)

EXPERIENCE

• A proven track record of developing and managing projects in the public, private or voluntary sectors.
• Extensive experience of working with young people (11 – 18 years) and their families, identified as vulnerable or as having complex needs preferably within a community setting.
• Demonstrable experience of staff management including recruitment, induction, supervision and support.
• Proven track record in scoping and developing new business activity, including engaging and developing positive relationships with commissioners.
• Experience of preparing bids e.g service model development, articulating delivery within tenders - for significant projects/services and participation in the business development process e.g. responding to tender questions etc
• Experience of working using own initiative to an agreed action plan and effectively monitoring service quality standards and performance.
• Commitment to young people’s participation
• Substantial experience of working in a multi-agency environment and the proven ability to develop effective working relationships with other professionals/organisations.
