We’re recruiting a forward thinking, strategic and compassionate Head of Family Services to lead the development of our support services delivered by our team of Family Support Workers to families of children and young people with cancer in the East Midlands. This is a newly created role and a key position in our small, impactful charity.

The post holder will have direct line management responsibility for our team of Family Support Workers and Family Services Co-ordinator, providing leadership across service development, staff wellbeing, safeguarding, partnership engagement, and impact reporting. Operational Manager - IPS Grow

This is an exciting time to join the team! As of Spring 2026, the organisation will be delivering Fidelity Assessments and supporting IPS services with their SMART action plans as part of the DWP’s Connect to Work programme.

About the Role

We are recruiting a Manager to lead a remote team of IPS Grow Fidelity Reviewers working across England and Wales. Skills, experience and qualifications we are looking for include:

• Managerial and leadership experience: Substantial experience managing teams and projects to successful delivery of performance expectations; leading by example and supporting the team to translate research into effective on the ground practice.
• Delivering tangible results in an IPS context: Previous background in an IPS leadership capacity; demonstrated ability to drive tangible improvements in outcomes for clients and work effectively with senior system stakeholders to unblock issues; deep understanding of the IPS model and how it applies in practice.

An excellent opportunity has arisen within Worcestershire for an experienced Project Manager to join our highly successful Homelessness Prevention Service. The service also delivers the SWEP Night Shelters across the six districts within the County.

The ideal candidate will have relevant homelessness service experience. Travel will be required between service areas and occasionally the head office in Gloucestershire. The role will also include line management of a team of dedicates Seniors, Co-ordinators and Support Workers who are delivering the service. As a Store Manager you will manage the day to day running of our Harrogate Store, leading a team of colleagues to maximise store sales and profits. Main purpose of post
An Appeal Support Officer is required to support the activity associated with a
major appeal for the charity. The appeal will raise £1.85m enabling a step change
in our support of Weston Park Cancer Centre.
Reporting to and working closely with our Senior Major Donor & Philanthropy
Manager, Appeal Consultant and Head of Fundraising, you will support the
coordination of appeal activity planning, as we undertake the public phase of the
appeal.
Supporting our established Appeal Board, you will coordinate communications,
prospecting and stewardship management of our major donor growth
programme and portfolio, as we build up both our private fundraising phase and
undertake our wider public fundraising activity.
You will help bring together a range of different public fundraising activities
planned for the next 12 months.

Key Responsibilities
 Support management of the appeal prospects portfolio, including research,
due diligence checks, profiles development and relationship management
plans.
 Coordinate and manage the appeal plan, including all facets of both the
private and public fundraising phases, liaising with appointed agencies and
contractors.
 Directly support the Appeal Board with communication, prospecting and
donor management planning, under the direct supervision and guidance of
the Senior Major Donor & Philanthropy Manager and Appeal Consultant.
 Act as a single point of contact for public appeal enquires and coordination
of supportive fundraising activity across the internal teams.
 Assist in the formulation of personalised stewardship plans and establish
effective systems to collate information about prospective and current
major donors, ensuring compliance with charity law, fundraising policies
and guidelines, GDPR and our organisational policies.

As a Individual Giving Manager you will

• Lead on the development and implementation of an effective programme to develop supporters using a range of channels, including but not limited to direct mail, telemarketing, DRTV and digital, and products including cash, raffle, regular giving, weekly lottery. 

• Assist the Senior Individual Giving Manager to develop and implement an effective development strategy in order to maximise the lifetime value of supporters and the long-term sustainable net income raised for Barnardo's. 

• Manage income and expenditure budgets. 

• Line manage up to 3 direct reports. 

 You will have experience of :

• Working in a fundraising environment, specifically in direct marketing and across different channels.
• Delivering campaigns using a project management approach.

What You’ll Do:
As our new Philanthropy Lead for the USA, you’ll:

• Develop and implement strategies to cultivate, solicit and steward donors to support the charity.
• Lead on high-net-worth individual relationships in the USA and the strategic management of a donor pipeline.
• Grow our philanthropic income and build strong, long-term relationships with donors.
• Deputise for other philanthropy managers where required and share your experience and ambition with the wider philanthropy team.

You will have expertise and a track record in major gift fundraising, relationship management and prospect research, as well as be able to demonstrate superb donor care. You will also be an authentic and confident leader who can build a genuine and long-lasting connection between donors and Animals Asia. What we’re looking for​

• Broad experience in commercial financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Proven experience leading the financial element of projects or investment decisions.
• Strong skills in presenting financial information clearly to senior leadership.
• Highly analytical, commercially astute, and confident in interrogating financial data.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial planning/reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships.

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Store Manager to join Barnardo's on a Full Time, Fixed Term Basis until December 2026.

As a Store Manager you will manage the day to day running of our Harrogate Store, leading a team of colleagues to maximise store sales and profits. By doing so you will play a crucial role in raising the funds for the amazing services and support Barnardo's provides for children, young people, parents, and carers across the UK.

Working Pattern: As the store is open 7 days a week, the successful post holder will be required to on a rota basis which will include weekend, evening, and bank holiday working.

There is free parking outside the store and extensive and regular bus routes. 

Some but not all key responsibilities are:

• Ensuring stock is generated over the door by members of the public and donors sign up to the Gift Aid scheme.
• Ensure that the high standard of service to customers that is expected by Barnardo's is maintained at all times.
• Implement promotions in the Store as directed by Head Office or your Area Business Manager.
• Maintain a high standard of presentation, both in the windows and the interior of the Store.
• Ensure there is adequate stock available on the shop floor, at all times, on all key lines

• Create an organised and pleasant working environment for staff and volunteers.
• Actively recruit the correct/specified number volunteers to deliver the stores objectives and KPI's.

• Hold the shop keys, ensuring that the shop is secure whenever it is left unattended.

The King's Trust is currently going through an exciting period of development. We have ambitions to grow our offer to young people by providing a blended approach of face-to-face and digital delivery and support. This role will involve leading a small team of delivery staff working to support young people in the East Midlands. As part of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our Health and Social Care programmes, in line with contractual requirements. You will lead the Health and Social Care team to develop and implement our delivery plan and ensure we meet targets, ensuring that every young person engaged progresses with an appropriate pathway of learning and development and one to one support. You will be a role model for your team, demonstrating best practice in how we work with young people in a safe way to ensure we deliver maximum value for young people and partners.

A background in employment-based programmes and/or knowledge of the Healthcare sector would be great as well as the ability to build and sustain stakeholder relationships and inspire colleagues.
