Role Purpose
This role is focused on maximising comms-based engagement across the GDI Hub’s portfolio, supporting GDI Hub’s growing outreach across project-based deliverables and organisational comms channels (e.g. social media, websites, content generation).
The post holder will work closely across GDI Hub comms team to support delivery across the organisational portfolio – with a focus on key regular outputs, reactive queries and organisational communications. This role will involve both administrative tasks, and creative content generation, at an anticipated volume of 50% per area.
We are looking for someone with strong administrative, communications and digital skills, with a passion for building impact and reach. The candidate will need the experience to deliver public facing comms outputs, while also building personable relationships. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential, as it a streamlined, can-do approach.
Role Responsibilities - Driving comms-based engagement across the GDI Hub’s portfolio

We are seeking a committed and customer focused Helpdesk Analyst to join our IT team. You will have a passion for technology and a proactive approach to problem solving. Your role will involve diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues. You will also advocate for the use of both current and emergent technologies, as well as facilitating the training of our team to effectively utilise these tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support to users by responding to helpdesk queries via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Manage our IT Ticketing systems in Monday
- Escalate complex problems to the appropriate IT support teams, both internally and externally.
- Maintain accurate records of helpdesk interactions, resolutions, and follow-up actions.
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance IT systems and processes.
- Contribute to the development of user guides and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with the business support team to streamline IT hardware procurement processes and co-develop better working practices, maintain an equipment log, manage the refreshment of returned laptops, and oversee telephone service, reviewing contracts for efficiency and fit.
- Assist with helping to codesign the on/off boarding of new/leaving members of staff and help manage the resulting tasks including data protection actions.
- Assist with new software rollouts in both their configuration and in staff training.
- Help introduce new digital tools within the organisation and improve adoption and usage. This will involve matching needs and running pilots, change and embedding processes.
- Work with external providers to ensure a high quality of service is maintained in the organisation.
- Create and manage a set of standard guidelines for using our digital tools effectively, and devise ways to promote their use. Additionally, manage the training programme that support these tools adoption.

The International Finance Manager will be responsible for all areas relating to financial activity in our international operations and will ensure appropriate global financial oversight of the growing network of local entities. - Drive forward a co-ordinated and well-thought-out roadmap of enhancements that addresses our business processes and systems to drive efficiencies and strengthen controls, including supporting the development of an ERP road map working closely with the IT & Country teams.
- Support the maintenance of the ERP road map, working closely with the IT & Country teams, to ensure it remains appropriate as Better Cotton evolves.

The Mass Market team’s mission is to inspire the UK public to financially support the IRC in order to help people impacted by conflict and disaster. As the Senior Acquisition Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading the Acquisition strategy and programme across cause and prize-led programmes, supported by a team of three. This is an exciting opportunity for a major donor fundraiser to join CSW, to initiate and develop strong relationships with individuals and corporates who have the capacity to make significant donations to CSW and to steward these relationships towards deeper engagement with CSW year after year.
Key Responsibilities (a full list of responsibilities is listed in the Application Pack)
- Develop a Major Gifts strategy that delivers agreed income goals and leads to increased and multi-year financial commitments from Major Donors.
- Develop individual cultivation plans for Major Donors that provide opportunities for them to make impactful gifts, pray and campaign.
- Research and write funding proposals and cases for support and adapt as needed.
- Produce and send regular letters and reports demonstrating the impact of gifts.
- Develop relationships with a small pool of Corporates that leads to increased engagement and income generation.
The Person
You are an excellent communicator, self-motivated and passionate about enabling donors to channel their wealth to meet the greatest needs. You have strong inter-personal skills which you are able to use to build internal and external relationships. You are able to inspire people to make a difference through their giving and you are just as passionate about communicating the impact of their gift. You are proactive and willing to work well with others to achieve targets.

Essential Criteria (a full list of essential criteria is listed in the Application Pack)
- A minimum of three years’ major donor fundraising experience for a charity.
- Proven track record of securing five-figure and six-figure gifts from major donors.
- Experience of providing excellent stewardship to major donors.
- Excellent communication skills, especially verbal and written English
- Writing compelling funding applications/ proposals that match donors’ interests with CSW’s mission and activities.

About the role
You will assist the Shop Manager in the recruitment, support and development of a strong community focused shop team and empower them to maximise Shelter's income. Representing Shelter in your local community, ensuring that you and your team share your knowledge of Shelter's cause with customers, volunteers, donors and potential Shelter clients will also be important aspects of the role. You will always ensure a safe, clean, bright and happy environment for your team to work in and for your customers to shop in, in turn attracting potential donors and volunteers.
