What we are looking for

We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to play a key role in helping us grow our supporter base, communicate our impact and keep our operations running smoothly.

You’ll be someone who enjoys writing and communicating clearly, whether that’s through social media posts, stakeholder newsletters or event invitations. You’ll be confident using digital tools and keen to learn how to manage and improve our new CRM system and website content.

Main duties and responsibilities

Communications (30% of work)

• Write and publish short regular newsletters for GRP’s stakeholders, including portfolio donors, wealth adviser partners and donors to operating costs.
• Manage and publish weekly content for GRP’s social media accounts, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Manage and curate content for GRP website, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date and maximising opportunities to attract new donors and supporters.
• Coordinate with GRP’s third-party web developer on website maintenance and regularly re-evaluate site structure/functions to maximise its efficacy and usability.

Event planning (30% of work)

• Lead coordinator for in-person and virtual events, in line with events strategy devised by Strategic Relationships Manager.
• Lead event promotion and liaise with venues, speakers, catering, attendees, videographer, graphic designer, etc to ensure events are well-attended and well-run.

Research (20% of work)

• Drive ad-hoc research projects to support GRP’s partnership-building, core fundraising and portfolio selection/assessment efforts.
• Analyse potential sectors and charities for inclusion in GRP’s charity portfolio.
• Identify and research high-quality trust and foundation leads in line with core fundraising strategy.
• Identify and research high-quality leads for wealth adviser or other corporate partnerships.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (20% of work)

• Manage GRP’s new CRM system (Beacon) on behalf of team, ensuring the team uses the CRM system consistently, accurately, and effectively. No prior experience with CRMs required – training will be provided.

In this key role, you’ll lead on engaging individual supporters, nurturing long-term donor relationships, and driving income from one-off and regular giving. You’ll bring creativity, insight, and a supporter-first mindset to help grow and steward our donor base during an exciting phase of our development.

Labour Behind the Label is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Individual Giving Fundraiser to plan, deliver, monitor and evaluate an ambitious and effective individual giving programme for individual donations, cash appeals and regular giving. You will be responsible for the coordination of these areas of fundraising across multiple channels, as well as the administration and stewardship required to ensure engaging supporter journeys.

The successful candidate is likely to bring a strong understanding of how we can recruit and retain supporters as well the latest digital trends and demonstrate creative and technical skills to deliver a digital fundraising strategy. You will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of boosting individual giving for small organisations, write compelling communications and have a particular flair for digital fundraising. You will collaborate with the team to optimise lifetime value from potential and current supporters. You will feel comfortable handling data sets and feel confident knowing how to make the most of data. You will be results driven and enjoy analysing your fundraising campaigns to ensure maximum success for the next.

Labour Behind the Label (LBL) supports garment workers' efforts worldwide to improve their working conditions, wages, and ensure their basic rights are respected. We do this through lobbying retailers, brands and political leaders; raising public awareness; promoting campaign action; and exploring legal possibilities for improving conditions.

Key areas                               

Fundraising

• Develop and implement LBL’s individual giving fundraising strategy (including one off, cash appeals and regular giving)
• Be responsible for driving up overall regular giving numbers

• Oversee our grant fundraising pipeline by identifying new grant opportunities, tracking application deadlines, and coordinating with team members to ensure timely and strategic submission of high-quality grant proposals.       

Communications

• Continue a regular giving strategy to generate growth in income and acquisition/retention numbers
• Continue to develop and implement a robust supporter journey
• Create social media assets for fundraising using Canva
• Social media use and update the website (including fundraising pages/posts and donation forms)

Database Management

• Manage the organisation’s database: Beacon
• Take a lead on ensuring data is properly processed, clean and useful for the team
• Manage data entry and updates on our CRM database to maintain up to date records on supporter contact information, attributes, relationships and donations

Other tasks

• Participate in team meetings
• Organisational management tasks as appropriate
• Represent LBL at meetings and events

Age International is recruiting for a Senior Policy Adviser with a proven background in achieving impact, for a 12-month maternity cover contract, working 28 hours per week. Salary advertised is FTE - 35 hours.

About the role

This a senior role within the SEHP team and will play an integral part in helping the team achieve their strategic aims. This role will work closely with another manager and provide cover for the National Manager.

Role specifics

We are seeking a strategic and proactive individual to manage a team and lead on the development and communication of SEHP’s policy positions to support the regeneration of empty homes. You’ll use your expertise to ensure policies are evidence-based and compelling, driving key objectives to bring privately owned empty homes back into use, ideally as affordable housing. A key part of your role will be leading on the publication of the Partnership’s impact report and collaborating with the Scottish Government, sector partners, and local authorities. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, offering consultation and guidance to local authorities, while developing practical strategies to increase affordable housing supply by bringing empty homes back into use.

Your leadership will also extend to supporting your team, providing management cover in the absence of the National Manager, and contributing to media opportunities. Strong communication, project management, and policy analysis skills are essential, alongside an ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external partners. About the team

The Scottish Empty Homes Partnership is hosted by Shelter Scotland and has been funded by the Scottish Government since 2010. The current funding commitment runs until end of March 2026.

Part of an award-winning Communication & Policy Department, our SEHP is a Scottish Government funded project aimed at enabling private sector empty homes to be brought back into use across Scotland. The Partnership achieves this via a mix of policy work, capacity building, training, best practice sharing and awareness raising with councils, community groups and others. It’s also home to the national Empty Homes Advice Service - a public facing advice line that anyone can call for help or to report an empty home.
