The role is a full time and fixed term contract for one year. 

The Cafes Manager will take full responsibility in leading and operating a successful cafes and catering operation, giving our student members an excellent service experience every day, looking to implement our cafes operation with new and innovative ideas led by the Head of Commercial Services. This role forms a key part of our Operations team, led by the Director of Operations. Comprising of both front facing and behind the scenes departments including; Cafés and Bars, Retail, Bloomsbury Fitness Gym, Human Resources, Facilities and Systems, the team delivers core functions and central services for the Union, as well as providing a diverse range of quality facilities accessible to our 55,000 members. The Operations team, and this role, are central to the successful delivery of our new strategic plan that will set us on the path to become one of the best students’ unions in the UK, and more importantly a better students’ union for our members.

The Citizen Engagement Officer at The Food Foundation will provide support for our citizen engagement work. They will work closely with the Citizen Engagement Manager, the Head of Development and Campaigns and the wider team to support our work with Young Food Ambassadors and Adult Food Ambassadors. 

The Food Ambassador programme is a well-established volunteer programme, which aims to amplify the voices of people with lived or living experience of food insecurity in The Food Foundation’s work. The role:

• Drive the strategic development of Christian Aid’s digital ecosystem, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s values and overarching goals.
• Develop and implement a robust search engine optimisation (SEO) and link-building strategy to improve website health, attract relevant traffic, and support user acquisition targets.
• Deliver key digital projects focused on enhancing campaign effectiveness and maximising income and impact, including:
  • Technical SEO

  • Competitor and backlink analysis
• Collaborate with the Senior Digital Content Editor to implement the digital content strategy across Christian Aid’s digital channels—including social media—to maximise reach, engagement, and income.
• Work cross-functionally with other teams to execute the digital ecosystem content roadmap, ensuring all content is user-focused and impact-driven.
• Define and brief content requirements that support SEO and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) efforts, enabling data-informed and impactful decisions.
• Lead the organisation’s tag management strategy and implementation, including:
  • Tag structure and tools
  • Server-side tagging
  • Integration with the customer data platform (CDP)
  • Ensuring all tracking functionality is accurate and effective

About you:

• Completed training in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), user experience (UX), search engine optimisation (SEO), and other key digital disciplines.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire high-performing teams across content management and social media.
• Advanced expertise in technical SEO, including:
  • On-page and off-page optimisation
  • Technical SEO best practices
  • Successful implementation of link-building strategies
• Highly proficient in digital analytics and performance tools, including:
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • SEMrush (or equivalent platforms)
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Hotjar and ContentSquare
  • Power BI and Looker Studio
• Experienced in managing external suppliers and partners across digital platforms and tools.

The Role

The objectives of the Communications and Campaigns team are to increase the public profiles of Rethink Mental Illness and Mental Health UK, mobilise public support to bring about change and ensure that all colleagues are aware of, bought into and engaged in contributing to the values and direction of the charities. 

A natural storyteller, you will have a talent for creating shortform video content that engages key audiences across our social media platforms. By generating ideas and making them happen, sourcing contributors, shooting and editing footage, you will monitor the performance of posts and proactively incorporate best practice to ensure that content is well received by audiences, and that the charities’ presence on its social media channels grows.

You will regularly collaborate with colleagues across both charities, the other founding charities and key partners to create compelling and inspiring content.

Main duties include:

• Creating shortform video content
• Project manage the production of video content for social media campaigns
• Ensure that the charity showcases its advice, information, programmes and services through shortform content.
• Champion and promote the brands, including their tone of voice, in our creative content.
• Working with the Social Media Manager, plan for and produces engaging content for relevant awareness events, including Mental Health Awareness Week in May and World Mental Health Day in October.
• Analyse the performance of video content
• Help the team keep up with social media trends, spotting opportunities

About You

A content creator and social media expert you will have experience of planning, shooting and editing footage to engage audiences across different social media platforms and of using creative design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro - essential). With an eye for detail, you will use your project management skills to analyse the performance of social media content, refining and improving content through iteration.

You will also have experience of:

• Writing and editing copy to suit different audiences and providing updates and briefings at meetings.
• Being a brand guardian and supporting others to use brand and tone of voice guidelines.
• Planning, creating and scheduling engaging content across multiple social media channels, while optimising content by channel and audience.

Main Purpose of Role:

The Programme Support and Administrative Officer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of CFAB’s programmes and organisational functions. This role supports executive coordination, training delivery, family support administration, international social work logistics, and general office management. The postholder will work across teams to provide high-quality administrative support, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.

Programme Support and General Administration

• Monitor shared inboxes and switchboard calls.

Genetic Alliance UK is the national charity working to improve the lives of the 3.5 million people in the UK affected by genetic, rare and undiagnosed conditions. We are looking for someone to lead the Community team, a person who is able to juggle a busy workload with competing deadlines and someone who can be flexible and responsive when a major disaster occurs.

This role is responsible for leading on event and product innovations while supporting the team to develop best in class supporter journeys. We are looking for someone who has a vision for putting data at the heart of all decision making.

The individual should love working with people - be it the wider internal team, volunteers or fundraisers from across the country.

This is a key fundraising role and a great opportunity to inspire and engage with the wonderful supporters who enable ShelterBox to deliver its mission.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Deliver the community fundraising programme and continually monitor results, with particular focus on net income, Rotary engagement, supporter growth and the development of our volunteer network. Adjust and adapt plans accordingly.
• To set income and expenditure budgets for all community and events activity, monitoring industry and supporter trends, progress against budgets and reforecast income and expenditure as required.
• Set measurable KPIs for the Community and Events Team and objectively review the success and achievements against targets. Identify areas of risk and opportunity. Ensure contingencies are in place as appropriate.
• Strategically grow community income by identifying priority audiences and developing products/campaigns/communications to maximise the value of our existing supporters and to reach new ones. Ensure we remain relevant and future focused. To include the optimisation and mainstreaming of digital engagement.
• Continue to develop and test events, with the aim of growing our events portfolio, working closely with the Community Marketing and Events Officer.
• Embed evidence-based decision-making within the team, using insight and data to inform ways of working, and improving our use and adoptions of systems.
• Support team with stewarding high value community stakeholders, including the strategically important relationship with RGBI. Role model and support great relationship fundraising - leading by example to inspire high standards in the team.
• Lead the development of strategic plans to maximise our partnership with RGBI (including income, awareness and networking opportunities). Manage and support the Rotary Marketing and Engagement Officers to drive activity and performance. Work closely with the Rotary Partnership Manager to ensure plans and communications are aligned.
• Support Community Engagement Officer with the development and growth of our community volunteer network.
• Work with the Rotary Marketing Officer and Community Marketing and Events Officer to oversee the development of mass participation campaigns to engage target audiences (warm and cold) and grow income.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate major disaster plans for community audiences.
• Work across the team to review and develop 'donor journeys' in collaboration with the wider fundraising and Supporter Care team, ensuring an excellent supporter experience.
• Create an environment which supports the team to be confident in the contribution and development of new ideas for fundraising, ensuring we adopt a 'test and learn' approach through which people feel safe and supported to innovate.
• Ensure fundraising activity is carried out in accordance with current good practice and within charity law, managing contracts and agreements and providing advice to others.
• Represent the work of ShelterBox at events to members of the public and supporters, where necessary delivering presentations with occasional out of hours work required.
• Continue to develop a high performing team.
• Participate in the day-to-day work of the organisation - such as reporting, attending team meetings as required, and taking a flexible approach.

The Marketing Officer is responsible for two key areas of delivery, splitting their time equally between supporting the PR and Marketing Manager to deliver key campaigns for the Foundation, and leading on the marketing services for the flagship sustainability project, Blues Go Green.

From working across all departments to support on promoting campaigns and overseeing website updates, to being the point of contact for our partner organisations for Blues Go Green, this job will provide an insight into all areas of marketing within the football industry.

St James’s, Piccadilly is at an exciting moment in its 340-year history. Fundraising for the ‘Wren Project’, a £23m capital campaign, and plans for an endowment campaign, are well underway.

This new role will support the fundraising team, working closely with the Head of Fundraising, to provide full administrative support across all functions of the department. About the role

Sheffield Community Bike Project is a not-for-profit community cycle repair workshop that aims to improve access to cycling through three main activities:

• Free (donations appreciated) access to tools and workshop space for DIY cycle repairs, with support from our volunteer team. This includes some sessions for specific groups.

• Offering affordable new and used parts, and refurbished second-hand bikes for sale.

• Focussed cycle maintenance training sessions to upskill our community.

SCBP is seeking to appoint a Bike Project Manager. Working closely with the CEO, trustees and volunteers, you will play a key role in ensuring our community workshop thrives as a welcoming, organised and sustainable space.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day running of the project, support and manage our volunteer team, and develop new systems and initiatives to support the organisation’s growth. Your ability to manage volunteers to assist in the behind the scenes running of the project will be key. Please see the nominal granular responsibilities of the role in the table below.

Subject to funding, we will hopefully be hiring for a “Bike Project Administrator” role in the near future. This role may be managed by the Bike Project Manager.

SCBP is at a key moment of growth. Having taken on workshop premises in September 2024, we are now working to increase the number of sessions that we run, streamline our volunteer and participant experience, and expand the breadth of provision that we offer. At the same time, as a grassroots charity, central to our ethos is nurturing a sense of community ownership and collaboration. Another key part of our culture is our “hands-on-tools approach”: participants are encouraged to do cycle maintenance themselves with help from our volunteers.

STOP THE TRAFFIK prevents vulnerable communities from being recruited, trafficked, and exploited. Our prevention programmes disrupt traffickers’ ability to recruit at-risk individuals by providing lifesaving information through our bespoke, geo-targeted social media campaigns.

The Operations Officer plays a vital role in keeping STOP THE TRAFFIK’s day-to-day operations running efficiently. Working closely with the Finance & HR Manager and Executive Team, this role supports organisational systems, finance processes, and internal communications — helping our global anti-trafficking work stay coordinated, compliant, and effective.

This position suits a highly organised, proactive individual who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and supporting others to perform at their best. You’ll be at the heart of the organisation — connecting teams, managing key administrative systems, and ensuring smooth operations across all areas.

This role will be responsible for:

Team & Office Environment

· Monitor STOP THE TRAFFIK’s phone and general ‘info’ inbox, directing messages to the appropriate team members.

· Support the upkeep of the office environment, ensuring facilities are well maintained and team members take shared ownership of the space.

· Coordinate team days and team-building activities, in collaboration with the Team Building Champion.

· Lead onboarding for new staff alongside line managers to ensure a smooth induction experience.

Executive Support Functions

· Provide administrative support to members of the Executive Team.

· Take minutes and capture action points in Senior Leadership Team meetings.

· Prepare briefing notes for key meetings with the Senior Leadership Team.

Finance

· Support the Finance & HR Manager by reconciling transactions on Xero, producing invoices, processing payments, and assisting with monthly and quarterly reporting.

Operations

· Develop and maintain effective internal systems that improve organisational efficiency and automation.

· Maintain key organisational records (e.g. contracts, insurance, supplier information) and handle confidential information appropriately.

· Manage the policy dashboard, ensuring policies are up to date, and notify relevant staff when reviews or updates are required.

The ideal candidate will have:

· Some experience in administration, operations, or office support.

· Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail.

· Comfortable handling basic finance tasks such as invoices, payments, and record keeping, with an acumen for numbers and data.

· Competence using Excel and data visualisation tools.
