You’ll produce high-quality, audience-focused content – from articles and video scripts to campaign copy and thought leadership pieces – and lead the content component of key campaigns. Turning scientific insights into accessible and inspiring content, you’ll tell engaging stories that reflect our brand, values and ambition for a world where wetlands thrive.
About You
We are seeking an individual with:
- Proven experience in storytelling, journalism, copywriting or content creation.
- Experience developing narrative-led multimedia content and storyboards.
- Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident collaborator, able to work with scientists, site teams, volunteers and senior leaders.
- Experience creating content for digital platforms and an understanding of digital best practice.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects.

In the decade to 2030 we aim for 30% of Suffolk to be connected and well looked after for nature, and for 1 in 4 people in Suffolk to be actively helping to make that happen. This role helps build the supporter power to get us there by delivering an excellent membership experience & ensuring our members feel valued, informed and connected to the work of Suffolk Wildlife Trust.
The post holder will take responsibility for the efficient day-to-day administration of the Trust’s membership schemes, using the Charity CRM database to maintain accurate contact & financial records in line with GDPR. This includes processing new, renewing and lapsed memberships, handling payments ( Direct Debits, PayPal & Gift Aid) and providing consistently high-quality communication with members through enquiries, welcome packs, renewal reminders and supporter care.
You’ll also support member growth and retention by helping deliver key supporter journey communications, thanking activity and retention projects, and by liaising with external partners such as the membership recruitment agency. Alongside this, you’ll help co-ordinate membership resources such as welcome packs, leaflets and magazine mail-outs (working with the volunteer delivery network), and contribute to continuous improvement in data quality, reporting and processes to strengthen our systems and supporter relationships.
To succeed in this role, you’ll be committed to Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s mission and bring a proactive, ‘can-do’ approach. You’ll have experience in an administrative, office or customer service role, with strong organisation, attention to detail and a methodical approach to maintaining accurate records.
You’ll be confident using Microsoft 365 and databases/systems with an understanding of GDPR and data protection. You’ll communicate professionally and warmly by phone and in writing, handling confidential information and difficult conversations with sensitivity. Willingness to learn Direct Debits, Gift Aid and charity income processes is essential; charity/membership sector experience is desirable.
This is a maternity cover role to cover a period of maternity leave (up to one year) working 22.5 hours per week over three days (office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm) based at Brooke House in Ashbocking. There may be opportunity for the role to become a permanent contract. We operate flexible homeworking arrangements where colleagues spend more time working together than homeworking. The starting salary is £14,398.80 per annum pro-rata (FTE £23,998.00).

Context and Background
The NSPCC's mission is to end cruelty to children. In order to carry out its charitable work, we rely on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 90% of its annual income. Within Fundraising, our aim is to provide maximum resources for the NSPCC and children by working together to create the best possible supporter experience by building long-term relationships to create a supporter experience which is different, better and more rewarding than that of supporting any other charity.
The Mass Participation Team (MPT) is an important part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships department within the Engagement and Fundraising directorate. MPT is responsible for attracting new supporters through our mass participation events to maximise fundraised income, and to optimise onward journeys to retain supporters within the NSPCC family.
The Mass Participation Team focuses on three areas of fundraising;
- Third party events – sporting events organised by third party suppliers, where we recruit participants and support them in raising money in aid of the NSPCC. For example, the London Marathon, Cardiff Half Marathon, Ultra Challenge series, skydives, bespoke treks.
- Schools Fundraising – a suite of fundraising products tailored to schools across all educational settings, including Number Day, the Kindness Challenge and Classmaster.
- DIY fundraising – supporters who choose to organise their own fundraising event or activity. Whether they take part with family or friends, at work or at school, we support them through stewardship and fundraising materials to help them reach their fundraising goals.
Job purpose
The role of the Senior Fundraiser is to project manage a number of fundraising activities within DIY fundraising and Schools Fundraising areas. The role will be responsible for managing DIY fundraising activity – managing acquisition and stewardship for DIY fundraisers, and playing a leading role in reviewing and streamlining user experience across mass, workplace and school audiences. The role will also take on project management of a Schools Fundraising product, managing all aspects of the product throughout its lifecycle. The Senior Fundraiser will be responsible for working as a proactive team member to ensure that the participation levels and net income from activities are maximised.
The key aspects of the role are:
- To play a key role in maximising income for the NSPCC from new and existing supporters through DIY/Schools fundraising activity.
·To project manage fundraising activities for mass audiences, taking responsibility for all aspects including planning and budget management, creative development, marketing and acquisition, stewardship build and evaluation.

About the role
This role delivers the Pan-London Sexual Violence Alliance (PLSVA) prevention and outreach priorities, strengthening community and professional responses to sexual violence across London.
You will design and deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive prevention work, including campaigns, training and community engagement, with a focus on Black and racialised communities, LGBTQ+ people, men and boys, and people with learning disabilities. Working within an intersectional feminist framework, you will promote accountability, collective action and clear survivor pathways.

As the Community Prevention Worker, you will:
- Design and deliver inclusive community prevention programmes, awareness campaigns and training on sexual violence, consent, bystander intervention and male accountability.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with communities, grassroots organisations and statutory and voluntary sector agencies to improve awareness, responses and referral pathways.
- Work closely with Alliance Navigators, partner agencies and the other Community Prevention Worker to ensure consistent messaging, effective signposting and joined-up survivor pathways.

- Monitor, evaluate and report on prevention and engagement activity, contributing to Alliance learning, impact reporting and service improvement.

Friends of Ibba Girls School, South Sudan (FIGS), is a registered UK Charity (114620) set up in 2011, at the request of local community leaders to help build and develop a girls’ boarding school in South Sudan. Ibba Girls Boarding School now educates over 320 primary and secondary school girls from across Western Equatoria State and employs around 40 staff.

The Role
This role involves supporting both fundraising and communications activities, alongside essential administrative functions. The Fundraising and Communications Officer will play a key role in implementing FIGS’ fundraising and communications plans, supporting donor engagement, campaigns, events, and day-to-day operational administration. You will be working closely with our Head of Fundraising and Communications, ensuring that FIGS has the resources to continue to support the education and boarding of over 320 marginalised girls in South Sudan.
The role is home-based but requires the ability and willingness to travel to fundraising and supporter events across the UK, including occasional evenings and weekends.
FIGS is a trustee-led charity, with an active and engaged Board that plays a hands-on role in governance, strategy, fundraising and ambassadorial work.
