Main Purpose Of The Job:
The Events and Community Fundraiserwill take responsibility for the planning and delivery of Homeless Oxfordshire’s events and third party events, and provide exceptional care to our community fundraisers. Working closely with the Community Fundraising Manager and Partnerships Fundraising Manager and the wider Fundraising and Communiations team, they will plan and run a calendar of events to engage our community and corporate supporters, as well as the general public, with the aim of raising money for and awareness Homeless Oxfordshire.
They will work with the Community Fundraising Manager to develop and build relationships with community and corporate supporters, and give talks to community groups (schools, faith groups, local organisations etc.) to encourage their support for the charity.
Main Areas Of Responsibility:
Events Planning And Delivery
· Oversee planning and delivery of our community and corporate events including the Golf Day, Race Across Oxfordshire, the Business Breakfast, HOxStock, and the Thank You event.
· Liaise with venues, suppliers and contractors to ensure all events are well planned and professionally run.
· Manage all event communications, from invitations, registration, to event day and follow up, ensuring an excellent support journey throughout.
· Support the Community Fundraising Manger on third party events, including Homeless Oxfordshire’s participation in the Oxford Half Marathon, the London Marathon, London to Brighton bike ride and other challenge events.
· Manage and plan event day activity at third party challenge events.
· Support community groups who are running their own “in aid of” events for Homeless Oxfordshire, providing materials and promotion and attending events where appropriate.
· Ensure timely communications and stewardship of all challenge event participants.
Community Fundraising
· Support the Community Fundraising Manager to research and identify community fundraising prospects, and deliver communications and approaches to engage schools, colleges, faith groups and other community organisations.
· Give talks to community groups (schools, faith groups, local organisations etc.) to encourage their support for the charity and represent Homeless Oxfordshire at community fundraising events.
· Support the Partnership Fundraising Manager to steward employee fundraising activities e.g. bake sales, Giftmas collections etc.
· Work with HR and the Community Fundraising Manager to recruit and manage Community Fundraising Volunteers who can give talks to community groups.
· Work with the Community Fundraising Manager and Marketing and Communications Manager to develop presentations and resources to enable volunteers to represent Homeless Oxfordshire at community events.
· Oversee the administration linked to community fundraisers, including updating the database with communications and monitoring and managing fundraising materials.
· Support community fundraisers to use and register on third party platforms e.g. JustGiving, Enthuse, providing encouragement and tips for securing sponsorship and funding.
· Ensure timely and professional communication and interaction with community supporters, and prompt thanking of fundraisers and donors.
· Take responsibility for responding to/redirecting all emails to the shared fundraising inbox.
· Undertake other relevant duties, supporting the Fundraising and Communications team as required.
General Duties:

Brief role description
The Programme Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in delivering the Forces Employment Charity’s Ex-Forces Employment Charity Programme. This programme provides regionally-based, comprehensive employment support to all who have served in HM Armed Forces, ensuring personal and locally informed guidance for veterans seeking employment or career change.
Working closely with the Director of Veterans and Families Employment, the Programme Manager drives operational excellence, strengthens service consistency across the UK, and represents the charity’s employment offer in the devolved nations. They ensure that our national network of Advisors is supported, empowered, and aligned to strategic goals, enabling the very best outcomes for the veteran community.
It’s essential that they have experience managing multi-site or national teams, alongside a strong understanding of employment support or careers guidance. They will be confident working with a range of stakeholders, able to use data to inform decisions, and an excellent communicator. Strong IT skills and a genuine commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community are also key.
Ideally, they will bring experience from the veterans or employability sector, along with some understanding of devolved nation policy or frameworks such as safeguarding or vocational training.
This role requires an Enhanced DBS check.

The Digital Communications Manager at the South London Gallery will oversee the delivery of an engaging digital strategy that supports the Gallery’s mission and vision, raises its profile locally, nationally and internationally, and deepens audience engagement.
Responsible for overseeing the SLG’s digital content strategy and digital partnerships, the Digital Communications Manager will create high-quality content that drives traffic to the SLG’s key digital platforms and communicates the quality and impact of the gallery’s artistic and Communities & Learning programmes. They will work closely with the Head of Communications and the Communications Coordinator to ensure that all content aligns with the SLG’s organisational objectives, reflects the Gallery’s tone of voice, and is informed by data and audience insight.

This is a hands-on role which will see you deliver key activity as well as lead a small team in prioritising and evaluating work across digital channels, using data and insight to inform decisions. • Plan, execute and optimise our paid advertising accounts, including Google Ads and paid social platforms (e.g. Meta), using A/B testing to ensure they are data-driven, cost efficient and deliver ROI and income.
• Lead and deliver email and CRM activity (including building campaigns, managing audiences, segmentation and automation), ensuring data, templates and journeys are optimised for engagement and conversion, using performance and insights to drive improvements.
• Embed a culture of data-driven decision making and bring visibility and transparency to digital marketing activity by regularly reporting impact against objectives, trend spotting as well as using a variety of data and analytics tools to raise the profile and understanding of digital marketing across the charity.
• Work closely with the Data team to ensure digital and data strategies align and data between digital channels is automated, accurate and can be reported on effectively.
• Safeguard the integrity of the charity’s digital presence ensuring it complies with data protection regulations and any other applicable legislation.
