We are looking for a successful Individual Giving Manager to join our dynamic Fundraising Team. You will be developing and delivering innovative fundraising strategies to grow our individual donor base, maximise supporter retention, and expand legacy giving.

About You
We are looking for a passionate and creative individual giving fundraiser or marketeer to develop and drive forward the programme. You will have a track record of delivering against income targets and KPIs and be experienced in delivering campaigns and activities on time and within budget.
With excellent writing and communication skills, you will be able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Manage Individual Giving Campaigns:
Help design and implement engaging individual giving campaigns across multiple channels (direct mail, digital, email, telemarketing, etc.).
Plan, manage, and execute regular giving programs, aiming to grow a sustainable donor base.
Monitor and report on campaign performance, using data to optimise and drive continuous improvement.
Recruitment of New Donors:
In conjunction with your line manager drive the recruitment of new individual donors through online and offline channels, focusing on building long-term relationships.
In conjunction with your line manager develop strategies for donor acquisition via social media, digital marketing, and fundraising events.
Create and manage lead generation initiatives to convert prospects into committed supporters.
Develop and Run Legacy Campaigns:
Design and deliver targeted legacy giving campaigns to raise awareness and increase donations through bequests and regular giving.
Ensure legacy messages are communicated effectively across different touchpoints, including online, print, and events.
Cultivate and steward legacy supporters, ensuring they feel valued and part of SANE’s vision.
Direct Marketing and Social Media:
Work closely with the Digital Marketing Team to create content for direct marketing and social media to encourage donations and engage with potential donors.
Collaborate with the Media and Communications Team to ensure that fundraising messages are compelling, on-brand, and reach the right audience.
Measure and analyse the impact of digital fundraising and social media efforts, making data-driven decisions to improve engagement.
Website and Digital Fundraising:
Work with the Digital Marketing Team to ensure the charity’s online donation platforms are optimised to drive conversions and facilitate a smooth giving experience.
Work with the Digital Marketing Team, Deputy Head of Fundraising and COO to develop strategies to integrate online donation opportunities within the website, social media, and email communications.
Donor Stewardship:
Develop and implement strategies for donor stewardship, ensuring individuals are thanked, informed, and engaged post-donation.
Maintain a regular and consistent program of communications with donors, keeping them updated on the impact of their gifts.
Identify opportunities to upgrade donors to higher giving levels and inspire loyalty.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Work closely with the Services and Media and Communications Teams to gain SANE Services statistics, case studies and up to date on general mental health information, to align individual giving efforts with broader fundraising strategies.
Provide regular reports on campaign progress, income generation, and donor acquisition metrics to the line manager.
Assist with donor relations and events as needed to nurture relationships and engagement.

Supporter Services
- Lead the development and delivery of the new supporter services function considering people (capability, capacity and culture), processes, tools and technologies needed to deliver outstanding customer service so new and existing supporters feel valued and connected to the ESU’s mission.
- Design and implement supporter recruitment, development and retention plans including welcome journeys and approaches for reactivating dormant supporters.

Skills and Experience
Essential:
- 5+ years experience working in a partnerships, supporter services, volunteering or account management role
- Demonstrable experience of having delivered successful services to a range of supporters/customers.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering meaningful supporter journeys across multiple channels
- Demonstrable experience of growing and sustaining a pool of high quality volunteers through successful recruitment and development strategies
- Demonstrable experience of using a CRM (preferably Salesforce) to identify trends and drive improvements.

Role purpose

Specific Responsibilities
Overall:
- Lead the charity’s external communications, brand, and public-facing resources.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Manager of Philanthropic Fundraising will serve as the cornerstone of administrative support for ULI’s philanthropic fundraising initiatives in Europe. Working closely with the Head of World Fellowship and Philanthropy, you will nurture and expand a global donor community, encouraging existing supporters to open their networks, and helping new donors feel part of a mission to empower and invest in young people. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment of donors
- Identify, vet, select and approach suitable donors at all levels, working in close collaboration with the Chair of World Fellowship, and other key ‘introducers’ .
- Promote and grow the Foundation’s Legacy fundraising programme, identifying and planning approaches to prospective legacy donors and supporting approaches to third party introducers.
- Develop and recruit lapsed donors to the World Fellowship.
- Write and submit proposals to donors to secure gifts.
Donor relationships
- Develop and deliver the Foundation’s ‘Fellowship’ programme; meeting the needs of different levels of engagement and promoting progression through different donor levels.
- Develop and maintain a robust framework for management of donor relationships
- Conduct and review due diligence of prospective and existing supporters.
- Undertake any other duties as required to support the successful delivery of Fundraising and Foundation objectives.
Project Management
Lead and prepare publications and relevant communications for all donors and supporters.
Be the Philanthropy team lead for specific events, overseeing the donor journey and financial
targets associated with the event.

Are you aware of the significant health inequalities that people with a learning disability face in the UK and levels of avoidable deaths? Are you passionate about access to justice for the families of people with a learning disability who have died avoidably in acute healthcare settings?
We’re looking for a dedicated Legal Casework Manager (Helpline) to join our committed information and advice team covering England at Mencap on a full time (37.5 hours per week) fixed term contract for 2 years.
Here at Mencap we are a leading charity providing advice, support and opportunities to people with a learning disability across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The role will lead on supporting families to get answers about how their loved ones died and change across the healthcare system to prevent future deaths.
The role is flexible in terms of location, which can include home working, using Mencap’s office bases, such as in London and Peterborough, and will include some national travel, for example to inquest hearings or to meet families when needed.
About the Role
As Legal Casework Manager (Helpline), you’ll provide advice, support, and casework assistance to families facing complex legal issues, specifically relating to people with a learning disability who have died in avoidable circumstances across England, mainly within the healthcare system. Working within a small, supportive team, you’ll manage your own caseload, contribute to the body of knowledge about avoidable deaths and help empower families to understand and exercise their rights and get answers through the inquest and other investigations processes.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide clear, accurate, and timely legal advice and casework support for families.
· Work closely with clients, many of whom will be distressed, ensuring a sensitive, trauma informed and professional approach
· Maintain up-to-date case records and comply with quality and regulatory standards
· Support strategic litigation and advocacy efforts where appropriate
· Liaise with other charities, coroners, legal professionals, and agencies to support families to get answers
· Work towards a world where people with a learning disability are no more at risk of death in hospitals, than any other person
· Manage a team of caseworkers working across different areas of advice.
About You
We’re looking for someone:
· Legally qualified in the UK or similar jurisdiction with at least 3 years post qualification, working in either clinical negligence, inquests or inquiries. Or similar number of years working as a senior case worker in an inquest/clinical negligence/inquiries advice role.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a non-judgemental and empathetic approach
· Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively, and work independently
· Ability to travel effectively to support families at inquests, and to attend meetings
· A clear understanding of the importance of professional boundaries and in maintaining their emotional wellbeing in distressing situations
· Strong management skills and ability to supervise, coach and mentor colleagues.
· Experience of accurately recording client case records and use of CRM/client database system
