AmplifyChange has an exciting new job opportunity for a Grants Manager to join our dynamic team of dedicated sexual and reproductive health and rights specialists. The Grants Manager will be responsible for accompanying grantee partner organisations through the grant making process; from assessing funding applications to providing performance and risk oversight for a portfolio of SRHR advocacy grants. In addition, the Grants Manager provides technical expertise for grantees on organisational strengthening and advocacy and campaigning. Key to the role is the sharing of knowledge across the portfolio and monitoring of grantee partners. Job holders will work closely with the team of Grants Officers to ensure grants move efficiently through the grant management cycle, alongside the broader AmplifyChange team. The Grants Manager reports to the Head of Grant making. Fluency in French is essential for this role due to AmplifyChange operating as a bilingual fund. In addition to this, we are looking for experience in Francophone Africa and/or the Middle East. We are also looking to complement existing team skills with knowledge and experience working on SRHR Advocacy themes in particular youth programming/ activism or any of our crosscutting things eg climate justice, mental health and pleasure based sexual health.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage a portfolio of international grants, ensuring compliance with internal procedures
2. Provide high quality technical SRHR support and coaching to groups to support them throughout the grant including preparing for contracting and regular performance reviews
3. Collaborate with the team to support the development and management of new grant calls
4. Screen and review grant applications and budgets against pre-defined criteria to recommend whether a grant application should, or should not, be reviewed by the independent Technical Review Panel
5. Maintain oversight of financial and contractual compliance of a portfolio of grants
6. Work closely with the Grants Compliance Team and Grant Operations Team to ensure smooth processes
7. Identify and contribute to lessons learning and knowledge sharing among grantees and support external communications of AmplifyChange supported grants
8. Provide ongoing technical expertise to political and situational analysis of SRHR in the relevant countries
9. Represent AmplifyChange as necessary to support outreach and learning with civil society, donors and potential donors
10. Provide inputs to organisational strategic development and review of progress
11. Engage with the field of philanthropy and grants management to stay informed of best practices

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
This is a UK based, full time (37.5 hours/week) permanent position, reporting to the Head of Grant Making. AmplifyChange is based in Bath, and we operate on a hybrid working model which would include coming to the office at least once a week. Unfortunately, we are unable to support visa sponsorship for this role and can only accept applications from those with proof of the right to work in the UK. Requests for flexible working arrangements will be considered. International and national travel will be required.

Direct Marketing Acquisition Manager (Direct Response)
You will develop and oversee a specialist area of direct response marketing, taking responsibility for paid media activity resulting in giving and prize-led support, and the associated programme and products. You will ensure the highest standard of quality and compliance, across a diverse programme mix. You’ll manage significant income and expenditure budgets and deliver exceptional fundraising campaigns to drive an ambitious growth plan, accelerating progress towards a cure.
Collaborating with different teams across the charity, you’ll be planning, managing and delivering the direct marketing programme across a range of media including digital, TV, telephone, and print. Activities in the acquisition portfolio are diverse; from delivering an established, successful core programme to playing an important role in exciting cross-organisational projects.
You’ll work with a team of three across a range of channels, media and projects at the charity; speaking to range of audiences with one theme in common – compelling people to stand with us for a cure.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme and campaign management
· Lead the development and delivery of the direct marketing acquisition programme and strategy, with a particular focus on the direct response elements.
· To be responsible for reviewing and developing our Weekly Lottery Strategy to maximize income.
· Oversee the delivery of the direct response acquisition campaigns; ensuring they are in market on time, on budget and on brand.
· Deliver consistent, structured testing to ensure continuous improvement. Where appropriate and worthwhile, ensure testing is applied to all activity and reviewed with recommendations acted upon.
· Involvement in charity-wide projects and groups; putting supporters at the heart of what we do, as well as playing a key role in the delivery of our Fundraising & Marketing Strategy.
· Management of all key acquisition suppliers including routine reviews, briefing, optimisation and general relationship management.
· Annual planning of acquisition direct marketing; including input to operational planning and development of relevant marketing plans.
· Ensure the campaign planning and delivery cycle is adhered to across the team, and all stakeholders are well managed.
· Ensure routine end of campaign reviews and analysis (with suppliers as well as your own), with proactive adaptation of plans to optimise results.
· Ensure contingency plans and activities are in place to close any expected income gaps.
People management
· Management and development of a team of three, with two direct reports.
· Empowering team members to succeed and grow with clear, SMART goals and development plans in place.
· Complete routine 1-1 meetings and annual appraisals with direct reports.
· Developing a high performing team who work collaboratively across the charity.
· Agency relationship management across a variety of partners and suppliers, from building relationships and negotiating, to contract and routine performance reviews.
· Working closely with the Supporter Care and Data teams to ensure the acquisition activity and processes are well understood and that they can support the team as best possible.
Budget management and reporting
· Annual budgeting of direct marketing programmes and campaigns.
· Regular forecasting in line with the annual cycle, making recommendations around budget allocation and managing expectations throughout.
· KPI tracking, trend analysis and interrogation of results at all levels.
· Regular financial performance reporting.
· Programme optimisation to ensure contribution targets are met and contingency planning as required.
· Detailed reporting geared towards a longer-term view of performance, covering long-term & ROI modelling, lifetime value and considering supporter experience and engagement.

About the role
Kinship is undertaking a major feasibility Randomised Controlled Trial (RCT) of Kinship Connected. This is aligned with recommendations set out in the Kinship Care Practice Guide published by Foundations (2024) and builds on evidence from the Kinship Navigator intervention of support for kinship carers in the USA.
This feasibility RCT is a complex, multi-partner programme involving:
- An active funding partner
- An independent evaluation team
- 5 participating local authorities (to be confirmed)
- Internal delivery teams and cross organisational services
- Kinship carers and lived experience subject experts
The Mobilisation and Delivery Project Manager is the operational engine of the programme, ensuring that every workstream is scoped, resourced, sequenced, delivered and evidenced, and that Kinship is trial-ready, compliant, and well-coordinated through set-up and delivery.
This role needs someone who is an excellent communicator, highly organised, unflappable, curious, and able to sit comfortably in the detail. The successful person will keep a firm grip on timelines, dependencies and risks.
You will manage a Programmes Officer as well as the set-up, processes, documentation, reporting, trial readiness, communications and cross-team coordination. You will work closely with the Programmes Manager who will share responsibility for ensuring high quality performance across the feasibility trial. You will both work closely with the core project team and partners.
You will lead operational quality, systems, processes, data, and compliance. The Programmes Manager will lead practice quality, staff development and supervision, safeguarding and relational delivery. Together you make sure the trial is delivered ethically, consistently and to a very high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the mobilisation plan across all workstreams and ensure trial readiness.
- Develop all processes, documentation and operational frameworks in line with the intervention protocol.
- Coordinate local authority onboarding, staff training and internal operational setup with the Programmes Manager.
- Work with internal Kinship teams to ensure everyone has clear expectations and is held to account for their performance during mobilisation and delivery – owning the workstreams.

SCOPE OF WORK
1. Learning and Insights Strategy and Systems

Contribute to the delivery and implementation of a new Learning and Insights strategy and results framework, building on our Learning Agenda.

Lead the design and embedding of data collection tools and systems across Purposeful teams, in particular our global grantmaking and advocacy teams.

Work closely with the Learning and Insights team to champion a culture of learning within Purposeful and with grantee partners.
2. Technical Support

Lead cycles of data collection across our global grantmaking work - supporting regional teams with technical expertise, as and when needed.

Periodically join learning calls, spaces and convenings with our grantee partners - embedding and supporting documentation.

Lead regular cross team learning and insights meetings and drive follow up actions.

Conduct periodic analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, and produce synthesis that informs strategic choices across thematic and regional work.

Facilitate sense-making and feedback loops with the Purposeful team, girls, young feminists, and grantee partners.

Manage timelines and workplans to feed into key learning and reporting moments.
3. Research

Move learning grants to grantees (approximately five to ten grants annually) to enable them to document their work and/or conduct research which they have identified as a priority - this includes an application process, accompaniment plan and check-ins.

Contribute to the delivery of research led or commissioned by Purposeful, this may include the reviewing TORS and methodologies, check ins with consultants, and reviewing deliverables.
4. Knowledge Production and Dissemination

Conceptualize and produce case studies, briefs or other knowledge products underpinned by quantitative and qualitative data, to assist with case building.

Contribute to the development of other external knowledge products as required, such as slidedecks, thematic briefs, regional briefs, blogs, op-eds, and research reports.

Work across teams to identify opportunities to disseminate and amplify knowledge products, including conference spaces, social media campaigns, webinars, instagram lives and academic publications.

Lead and/or contribute to the drafting of conference and journal abstracts.

Represents Purposeful in high level external spaces, including conferences, funder collaborations and research partnerships.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Experience & Skills

At least five to seven years of experience in MEL or research, including experience working with philanthropic funds, feminist organisations or social justice movements.

Demonstrated experience designing and implementing learning frameworks and systems across multiple projects or funds.

In-depth understanding of feminist issues, movement building, social justice and/or girls’ rights, or another thematic area, such as humanitarian aid or climate change, and how it relates to girls and young feminists.

About the role
We’re looking for a highly creative, organised, and experienced Marketing and Content Executive to support the delivery of engaging, high-impact marketing across our growing, purpose-led organisation.
Working closely with the Senior Marketing and Campaigns Manager, you’ll play a key role in producing and managing digital content, with a strong focus on social media, web design, and copywriting.
In this fast-paced role, you’ll drive our social media strategy, produce engaging content and blogs, and manage the design and research for our online Suicide Prevention Hubs. About the Role
2026 marks 100 years since Gunnersbury Park was opened as a public park, and Gunnersbury Museum and Park Development Trust are looking to hire a freelance development manager to help us make the most of our centenary year.
We are looking for an experienced development professional to join our team on a freelance basis as part of an Arts Council funded project. This role will be a real opportunity to become embedded in an organisation at the beginning of a transformative period, as we focus our energies on raising awareness of the great work of GMPDT.
The successful candidate will lead GMPDT towards increased financial resilience by identifying new funding opportunities and managing the development of a new fundraising campaign.
They will work with staff and volunteers to develop a ‘project bank’ of fundable projects across the Museum and Park and identify appropriate funding streams for each.

Persuasive Advocacy
Design and deliver a successful income generation plan and targets that enables the delivery of our ambitious strategic direction, with the CEO, Artistic Director and National and Regional Choir Producers.
Ensure our overall Case for Support remains compelling and up-to-date. In particular liaise with Producers on evaluation waves and with the Marcomms function to develop creative new storytelling approaches that will bring the impact we make to life.
Lead the application process for Trusts and Foundations and some statutory and corporate organisations, working closely with colleagues across the organisation to collate all necessary information, and compile final applications with detailed budgets and supporting material.
Provide timely receipts, invitations and reports to funding partners, in order to maintain productive and positive relationships with administration staff and Trustees.
