The Forces Employment Charity offers a specialist programme developed to support veterans in the Justice System who may be vulnerable, socially isolated, or need support to live or maintain a law-abiding life.
Reporting to Op NOVA East England Regional Manager. The successful candidate will have experience in managing and supporting a caseload of vulnerable veterans in your allocated region.
This position is full-time, 35 hours per week with a salary of £28,325. The successful candidate will be based at home with regular travel within the region, (Kent & Sussex). This role consists of managing and supporting caseloads of vulnerable veterans in your allocated region.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Contact all clients within 48 hours of allocation
- Undertake face to face needs assessments and develop support plan within 5 days of allocation
- Provide peer support and practical experience to colleagues and clients
- Carry out an assessment using the Outcome Star, understand and record Employment and Housing status, and other assessments as required by the Regional Manager.
- Review assessments at 3 monthly intervals to understand and demonstrate progress.
- Work with and empower client to engage with the support plan and goals agreed during their needs assessment
- Produce written report when requested highlighting support given to client and level of engagement
- Support the regional manager and national manager to create and maintain strong working relationships with referring organisations in the Area, including the Police, Probation Service and NHS Liaison and Diversion.

- Deliver emotional and practical support to veterans working with partner organisations to provide specialist support for everyone

But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. Our Hackney Parent Support project is commissioned by Hackney Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and parenting courses for families throughout the Hackney region. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.
We are seeking a capable Service Engagement Lead to manage, coordinate and support both the Infant feeding and Parenting course projects. This role is split between being out in the community and working from home, it will include regular travel across the Hackney region (expenses will be reimbursed).
About the Role
Working closely with the Hackney Parent Support team, you will be responsible for the service engagement and promotion of our community-based services across Hackney. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
· Line managing the paid peer supporters within the Hackney staff team.
· Coordinating and maintaining the active social media and Infant Feeding Services website.
· Advertising volunteering opportunities across varying platforms including social media

It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires breastfeeding experience of at least 3 months. The training can be undertaken within your working hours. There will also be training on the EPEC (Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities course) provided by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a community-based role, travel across Hackney will be required, with some home working.

Role description
The Parliamentary Advocacy Coordinator (Education) will work with both organisations, providing crucial support to the Results UK Education and IPNEd Teams. We are looking for someone who will be proactive, efficient and flexible in supporting our parliamentary advocacy work both in the UK and globally. Having a can-do attitude that includes the more administrative aspects of the role is essential. This post will provide good opportunities for developing project management and advocacy skills; an understanding of key international development issues; and experience of working with Parliaments and parliamentarians in the UK and globally.
We are looking for candidates with an interest in and passion for international development and education to address poverty, inequality and oppression.
Key responsibilities
Supporting the work of the Results UK education and IPNEd teams
- Providing administrative support to the Results UK Education and IPNEd Teams and ensuring the smooth-running of internal processes that support the teams’ work, for example: contributing to the maintenance of the contact management systems and databases; supporting monitoring, learning and evaluation processes; tracking and communicating impact; engaging with external providers (e.g. report designers); managing procurement of translation services for events and meetings.
- Supporting political analysis for Results UK and IPNEd education teams to identify parliamentarians to work with as members of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Global Education in the UK and the IPNEd global network.

This is a new role at Wen, with a focus on building Wen's in-house media relations and story gathering capacity while also getting involved in all areas of communications, particularly social media. To help you settle into the role and support your development you will receive mentoring from a PR consultant.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the interface of research, farming and policy working as part of the GFM team to support the development of the GFM framework and its application on farm, in the food supply chain, for education and learning, policy and finance.
Reporting to the Head of Research of the SFT, you will join the GFM team responsible for a wide range of trials, in the UK and internationally. These include Defra Elms pilots, farm cluster groups, supply chain trials, and international trials delivered as partners of Regen10. Our trials test the application of the framework and the use of the GFM by other stakeholders.
You will work collaboratively with the trials team managers supporting the design, evaluation and timely delivery of trials. You will lead the quantitative and qualitative analysis of results and the design and reporting of feedback from participants, working with project partners, our trials team, and the wider SFT team to achieve and communicate outcomes. You will provide technical support to the team for the current GFM assessment and work with them and other project partners on the continuing development of sustainability assessments and data collection methodologies for application nationally and internationally.
The postholder will also have the opportunity to contribute to related work on the conceptual development and application of the framework in different contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team of trials managers responsible for a wide range of GFM trials, in the UK and internationally.
- Lead on the quantitative and qualitative analysis and interpretation of results and the design and reporting of feedbacfrom participants.

As the Parliamentary Advocacy Officer for Education, you will lead our parliamentary work on education issues in line with our new strategy and commitment to equity. You will have a good understanding of how the UK Parliament works and how to engage parliamentarians in our issues.
You will lead relationships with UK parliamentarians around global education, including providing the Secretariat for the APPG Global Education.
Key responsibilities
Parliamentary advocacy
● Working with the Head of Parliamentary Advocacy and others in the organisation to develop and implement a high impact and politically astute advocacy strategy for global education.
● Alongside the specific global education strategy, contribute to the development of Results’ overarching parliamentary advocacy strategy, working closely with the Head of Parliamentary Advocacy and other members of the team.
● Lead on the parliamentary work on global education for Results UK, by building and strengthening relationships with MPs and Peers that result in their championing the end of poverty, specifically the importance of global education, and building support for the key elements of strong national education systems.
● Provide the secretariat function to the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Global Education. Reporting to: Managing Consultant
Salary: £21,000
Contract: 6 months, with potential career opportunities available upon completion of the internship
Location: Clapham, London / Hybrid
Hours of work: 35 hours a week
Annual Leave: 25 days plus Bank Holidays

As a Compton Fundraising Intern, you will:
·Assist in the development of fundraising proposals and supporting materials.
·Contribute to the preparation of newsletters and other mailings to supporters.
·Provide prompt and effective responses to fundraising enquiries and deliver excellent supporter care.
·Assist with the maintenance and updates of client databases to ensure accuracy (training will be provided).
·Write and issue agendas and meeting notes.
·Conduct other duties as assigned by the Managing Consultant and/or other Compton line manager.
·Support and attend client initiatives and events as part of the wider Fundraising team outside of normal working hours.
We will conducting interviews with selected candidates as applications come in, so may appoint before the deadline of 28 June
