Home-Start Epsom, Ewell and Banstead is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families and children.  Our team of trained staff and volunteers provide regular emotional support and practical help to families in their own homes and in groups throughout the community.

While the majority of our funding has previously come from grants, we are excited to announce that we are recruiting for a part-time Community Fundraiser to help the charity diversify our funding sources and engage with the local community, individuals and businesses.

A Prevention Programme Manager designs and implements effective prevention initiatives across different regions. This role combines strategy and hands-on execution, overseeing projects from inception to completion while ensuring alignment with objectives, budgets, and timelines. By leveraging strategic partnerships, digital communication, and intelligence-driven insights, the Programme Manager develops targeted interventions, strengthens prevention strategies, and ensures impactful programme delivery.

Collaboration is central to this position. The successful candidate will work closely with NGOs, governments, law enforcement, and Financial Institutions, contributing to a global anti-trafficking movement. Data-driven insights will inform digital campaigns, ensuring tailored responses to trafficking risks and at-risk communities.

o Directly communicate and safeguard any beneficiaries who see our campaign and want to discuss their situation with us, signposting them to support in a trauma-informed way.

2. Work closely with key colleagues including the Brand and Marketing Manager, Website and Digital Content Manager and Social Media Team to position and market Relate’s services and plan content.

3. Work closely with B2C and B2B teams, and other internal stakeholders to understand website requirements and improve representation online.

4. Manage digitally delivered products such as Toolkits and Relate’s AI chatbot, including re-marketing and upgrade activity to drive clients to further services on the website.

5. Support the creation of new Toolkits for sale, working closely with the Brand and Marketing Manager and service delivery colleagues to research and test new topics and write content.

6. Develop and write keyword rich content including stories, and support articles on often sensitive subjects, to build brand awareness, improve findability and warm up audiences.

7. Monitor and improve SEO across the Relate website.

8. Support Relate’s adaptive change programme including the website review workstream, working closely with the Website and Digital Content Manager, Head of Digital Marketing and other key stakeholders.

9. Support the development of a new CRM for Relate, working closely with the Systems and Technology Team and Service Delivery Team to ensure a seamless front end client experience.

10. Manage existing infrastructure and systems integrated across the website client journey such as Acuity Scheduling, Typeform and Stripe.

11. Maintain and improve Relate’s website accessibility ensuring it meets WCAG 2.1 AA standard wherever possible.

12. Use sophisticated data and insight tools to test, measure and evaluate content, and website performance, and monitor emerging trends in the wider market.

13. Produce regular reports for senior stakeholders including data and commentary around website performance.

14. Work with external agencies to deliver effective PPC search and display ad campaigns.

15. Manage relationships with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers involved in digital initiatives at Relate.

· Extensive experience of managing and developing a website within a complex organisation.

· Experience of developing complex user journeys and improving user experience.

· Extensive experience of writing keyword rich website copy and digital content and an excellent knowledge of SEO best practice.

· Good understanding of online and offline marketing strategies, including sales funnels, particularly in a commercial context.

The Role

As our Fundraising Manager, you will be the driving force behind developing, launching, and delivering a dynamic fundraising strategy to secure significant and sustainable support for the Waqf Fund.

Your role will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery from engaging high-net-worth donors and institutional funders, to inspiring grassroots giving from communities who believe in the transformative power of education.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning – Develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with the Fund’s mission and values.
• Major Donor Engagement – Identify, cultivate, and steward high-value donors and partners, building long-term, trust-based relationships.
• Community Fundraising – Mobilise grassroots support across the UK Muslim community, creating campaigns that inspire giving at every level.
• Institutional Funding – Explore and secure grants, sponsorships, and partnerships from trusts, foundations, and corporate supporters.
• Events & Campaigns – Design and deliver fundraising events, both in-person and digital, that engage and inspire.
• Waqf Awareness – Champion and educate donors on the concept of Waqf as a sustainable, faith-driven model for impact.
• Impact Reporting – Work with the leadership team to demonstrate the difference donor support is making, through compelling storytelling and data.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a rare combination of heart and hustle. You will:

• Have a proven track record in fundraising, business development, or sales, ideally in the charity or education sector.
• Understand the values and motivations of Muslim donors, with sensitivity to cultural and faith contexts.
• Be a confident communicator, able to inspire at a boardroom table and from the mosque pulpit.
• Have experience in building a fundraising function from scratch (preferred but not essential).
• Be highly organised, results-driven, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
• Share our vision for transforming education and believe deeply in the power of giving for lasting change.
