Role Requirements
Your role will be to provide a high standard of housekeeping and accommodation service across site. You will provide excellent levels of cleanliness that are consistent throughout the site.
As part of the site services team the role holder will be expected to liaise with managers and staff across the Trust. The role holder is expected to work closely with the other members of the facilities team and assist in covering in the laundry, in the deep clean team or other works as and when required.
You will be a natural and enthusiastic housekeeper working not only as part of a team but also individually. This is a chance for an outstanding candidate to make a significant and lasting difference to the lives of thousands of children and families.

Role Requirements
- Support planning and changes in the administration of children and young people’s timetable for children and family services.
- Support with photocopying of notes for subject access/ solicitor requests (SARS).
- Manage the SARS and redacting process with appropriate members of the Therapies teams.
- Update logs and coordinate the Clinical and Safeguarding Supervision across the Therapies teams, escalating non-compliance where required.
- Monitor mandatory training compliance and administer booking processes for all relevant training sessions/course.
- Coordinating specialist clinics, including spine and hip clinics; liaising with the Physiotherapy team to ensure the correct children are on the schedule. Liaison with external Consultants to organise the clinic lists.
- Carry out audiotyping of clinic letters and distribute as required.
- Update absences within the teams onto the SMI (staff care) system, as requested by the Heads of Service.
- Place orders for any required equipment and/or resources for departments and for the children and young people as deemed necessary.
- Take overview of clinical asset ordering, linking with the clinical assets team and management system, in line with MHRA guidelines and the medical devices policy.
- Track and monitor equipment orders with Heads of service, escalate delays and provide a central overview for all equipment re-charges and ordering.
- Raise and receipt PO’s and invoices for the therapies directorate and liaise closely with the finance team.
- Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Exciting opportunity to lead a significant legacy and in memory programme and manage a team of two.
Sue Ryder’s specialist teams are there when it matters, from caring for those with a terminal illness to helping others manage their grief. They provide expert care to people at the end of their lives whatever their health needs and do this from their seven specialist centres and in people’s homes. They also offer bereavement support nationally as well as campaign for change so that everyone who is approaching the end of their life or grieving has access to the right support, at the right time.
This is an exciting and integral role at Sue Ryder who are seeking an experienced legacy and in memory fundraiser to lead a programme that brings in c£7.5-8million a year. The Senior Research Manager for Research Management and Impact is responsible for the allocation and management of all external Marie Curie research awards and for supporting and evidencing their impact on policy and practice. Marie Curie is the second largest funder of palliative and end of life care research in the UK (after the NIHR). What we are looking for:
- You have substantial experience of leading pre and post award research management at a national research funding body or university/NHS Trust, including extensive experience of managing peer review processes.
- You have a strong background in measuring and reporting research outputs, outcomes and routes to impact.
- You are a highly motivated, enthusiastic and positive individual with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a proven ability to build relationships with research stakeholders.
Marie Curie is the largest charitable funder of palliative and end of life care research in the UK and the second largest funder overall. We oversee a portfolio of research grants including long term Research Centres at University College London and Cardiff University, open and competitively awarded project grants and internal research capacity development through a Research Lead and Academic Research Fellowship programme and small internal research grants. Increasingly, research is also being commissioned to answer specific research questions.
The Research Management Team at Marie Curie oversees and manages Marie Curie's external research investment from setting the strategic direction and research priorities, allocating and monitoring research projects and programmes, to establishing and publicising their impact. Our research priorities are informed by the views of patients, carers and health and social care professionals and we strive to ensure that research findings inform policy and practice to improve end of life experience.
This is a key post in the Research Management Team that is responsible for the allocation and management of research grants such as project grants awarded as part of the Marie Curie Research Grants Scheme, our Research Impact Fund, commissioned research, and reviews of our Marie Curie Research Centres. This includes monitoring grants through the review of annual and final reports, statements of expenditure and Researchfish submissions as well as developing relationships with the research teams to ensure that the next steps of research, notably the impact on policy and practice, is considered from the start of the project or programme.
The position requires a highly motivated, enthusiastic and positive individual with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a proven ability to manage research grants, build relationships and measure outputs, outcomes and routes to impact.

New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. The commission will run from June 2024 for three years. As part of this, an additional service will be set up within the NHYC Youth Justice team specifically to deliver on the Alliance contract. This will include a team of Housing Caseworkers who will carry out assessments and advocacy work with young people under 25 who are fleeing violence and exploitation, in order to move them on successfully into both emergency and long-term housing options. You should be passionate about working with this client group, able to manage a fast-moving caseload, and committed to working collaboratively with a team across multiple services.
Salary: £31,200 - £34,736

The Head of Youth Engagement & Participation is a key senior leadership role at Peer Power Youth. Responsible for leading the youth engagement team (YET) across all aspects of safe and supported youth engagement (individual change) and ensuring youth voices contribute to tangible and meaningful system change (participation/system change).

The Young Partners we engage and connect with, have experience of justice and care/looked after systems. We work across London and Southeast regions, with occasional national events. Our work takes place in the community and in secure settings (examples include -HMYOI Feltham, Oasis Restore Secure School, and Secure Children’s Homes).
