We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Southwest prison service based at HMP Bristol. Our Team Leaders at Change Grow Live play a pivotal part in supporting the wider teams, working with people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential.

Working under the direction of the Service Manager, the post-holder will support and lead a team of staff within the prison estate and be able to respond to a changing and challenging work environment. Responsibilities

• Operational line management of a team of staff which includes supervision (with reflective practice), appraisal, performance and sickness management as well as ensuring staff follow CGL and external policies applicable to their roles.
• Manage the rota of staff, working with other managers to ensure all elements of the service are covered appropriately.
• Ensure quality of service delivery through data analysis and engaging staff in service quality improvement planning
• Plan, chair and contribute to team meetings that promote learning cultures, cascade information, and provide feedback mechanisms for staff on service delivery/developments.
• Support staff to improve service user outcomes through observed practice, providing timely values-based feedback.
• Develop and sustain key relationships within the HMP environment particularly those relating to the Health and Well-being model.
• Contribute to the safety of staff and service users by monitoring the maintenance of health, safety, and security procedures in the working environment, and carrying out risk assessment procedures.

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.

Working alongside the Managing Director, you will play a key role in supporting the day to day running of the BDD Foundation. You will help support the smooth operation of charity projects, media campaigns, and collaborations, while supporting the delivery of the charity’s community engagement and outreach activities.

The role

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and proactive Corporate and Community Fundraiser to help to grow vital income streams and support our mission to improve the lives of unpaid carers across Bath and North East Somerset.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our small, dedicated team building meaningful relationships with individuals, community groups, and local businesses to raise funds and awareness for our life changing work. You will have the freedom to innovate, try new approaches and create fundraising initiatives that inspire our community

You will develop and deliver community and corporate fundraising initiatives that inspire people to support our charity, ensuring we can continue to be there for the thousands of unpaid carers who rely on us every year.

About you

You will be a confident and engaging communicator who enjoys building impactful relationships with a wide range of people, both in person and online. With a friendly and approachable manner, you can inspire and motivate supporters, whether they are individuals, community groups or corporate partners. You are creative, self-motivated and well organised, able to take initiative and manage multiple projects and deadlines. With a positive and proactive attitude, you thrive on developing and delivering  fundraising ideas that make a real impact, and you can adapt your approach to suit different audiences and situations.

You will have a good understanding of the importance of excellent supporter care and take pride in providing a professional and memorable experience to everyone you engage with. You are comfortable representing the charity at events and meetings, sometimes outside of normal office hours, and are committed to upholding our values in everything you do. Key responsibilities

Fundraising & Income Generation

· Develop and deliver engaging fundraising campaigns and activities for community groups, individuals, and businesses to support our shared mission

· Build strong, sustainable relationships with local supporters, volunteers, and corporate partners to grow income and awareness

· Lead on stewarding existing supporters and proactively seeking out new ones through networking and outreach

· Create and manage a calendar of fundraising events and opportunities that engage and inspire participation from all parts of our community

· Promote and support third-party fundraising events, providing advice, materials, and encouragement to maximise their success

Community Engagement

· Be a warm and visible ambassador for The Carers Centre, representing our values at local events, community spaces with empathy and enthusiasm.

· Support the development of volunteer fundraising networks and champions

· Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure carers’ voices are at the heart of messaging and initiatives

Corporate Partnerships

Research, approach, build  and sustain meaningful relationships with local businesses and corporate supporters , fostering shared value of community support, compassion, and social responsibility. to secure donations, sponsorships, employee fundraising, and volunteering opportunities

· Prepare compelling partnership proposals, impact reports, and presentations tailored to potential and existing partners

Communications & Administration

· Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to promote fundraising campaigns through digital, print, and social media channels

· Maintain accurate supporter records and track income and engagement using our CRM system

· Ensure all fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR, fundraising regulations, and reflects The Carers’ Centre’s values

General

Ensure that you;

· Uphold and embed our values and behavioural competencies in your work

· Deliver against the agreed workplan.

· Adhere to the Carers’ Charter.

· Work within The Carers’ Centre’s policy framework.

· Ensure that you adopt good practice within the Carers Trust network.

· Take responsibility for ensuring communications are in line with GDPR and The Fundraising Regulator guidelines.

· Encourage carers to provide feedback on The Carers’ Centre services and to become actively involved in shaping future delivery.

· Work with the Carbon Champion, the Senior Leadership Team and small working group of colleagues to look for ways to reduce carbon footprint across the organisation, make cost savings on energy usage and achieve targets throughout the Carbon Footprint project

· Support the Carbon Champion by implementing environmentally friendly practices to help reduce our carbon footprint.

About the role

As our National Lead for Domestic Abuse, you will:

• Lead the development and delivery of a national approach and best practice for domestic abuse services, working collaboratively with internal experts and stakeholders.
• Drive the continual improvement of service quality, embedding robust procedures, quality assurance frameworks, and evidence-based practice.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of resources, tools, and interventions that support victims and enhance service effectiveness.
• Champion co-production with victims, ensuring their experiences inform service design and delivery.
• Support the development of funding bids and new service opportunities, working closely with the Business Development Team.
• Build and nurture relationships across the organisation to ensure consistent, high-quality support for people affected by domestic abuse.

About you

You will have:

• Demonstrable experience developing and delivering services for victims of domestic abuse, ensuring accessibility and engagement for people with diverse backgrounds and needs.
• In-depth knowledge of the criminal justice system and its impact on victims.
• Experience working in partnership to support domestic abuse service development and delivery.
• Proven ability to engage with victims in co-production, and a strong appreciation of the dynamics of domestic abuse in different settings.
• A track record of effective project management and stakeholder engagement in complex organisations.
• Thorough knowledge of safeguarding issues and practical experience of safeguarding policy and processes.
• Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and to removing barriers to support.

Additional requirements

• Regular travel across England and Wales.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.
• Mental resilience to work with inherently traumatic subject matter.
• Competence in digital skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.

This newly created role within St Luke's is supported by a generous grant from the Henry Smith Foundation to develop our wellbeing programmes over the next three years. The Associate Director will engage with dioceses and individual clergy as they explore and embed our wellbeing programmes. 

The post holder will represent St Luke's and our Christian ethos within senior diocesan teams and help shape and deliver our strategic vision for flourishing clergy. This role will support the advancing clergy reflection programme and support dioceses, other networks and communities and Theological Educational Institutions in establishing wellbeing practices.

The role is home based with travel around the UK as required. There will be a requirement to be in London at least once a month for team meetings. 

This role carries an occupational requirement for the postholder to be a practicing Christian, in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010. The role involves representing and upholding the Christian ethos of St Luke’s in both internal leadership and external engagement.

Genetic Alliance UK is the national charity working to improve the lives of the 3.5 million people in the UK affected by genetic, rare and undiagnosed conditions. We are an alliance of over 220 charities and support groups, uniting patient voices to campaign for timely diagnosis, better care, and improved access to treatments.

We host Rare Disease UK (the national campaign for implementation of the UK Rare Diseases Framework) and SWAN UK (the only dedicated support network for families of children with undiagnosed genetic conditions) and we run the annual Rare Disease Day campaign. 

About the role

This is a creative and purpose-driven role at the heart of our charity’s communications. As Senior Communications Officer, you’ll help us tell powerful stories, share our impact, and build connections with our members, supporters and partners.

You’ll lead on producing engaging digital content, managing our social media and newsletters, and keeping our website fresh and accessible. You’ll also support light-touch fundraising campaigns, helping us grow our income and supporter base.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys combining creativity with strategy, you’ll use your writing, design and digital skills to make our work visible and compelling, while ensuring the voices of those living with rare conditions remain at the centre of everything we do.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Membership and Communications and our new Director of Engagement and Impact, contributing ideas that strengthen how we engage all our audiences.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

• A strong communicator with at least two years’ experience in a communications role.

• Skilled in producing visual and written content for websites, social media and newsletters.

• Confident using digital tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe suite, Wordpress/Drupal).

• Organised, creative, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

• Motivated by making a difference for people affected by genetic, rare and undiagnosed conditions.

Experience in the health, social care or charity sector would be an advantage, but curiosity and empathy matter just as much as direct experience.
