West London Crisis Recovery House is Registered Care Home, working in a recovery model. The services are staffed 24/7 and offer support to the residents aged 18 and upwards.

The Role

• To promote independence by supporting service users to move on positively.
• Develop networks across West London to build strong move-on pathways from the WLCH.
• Ensure discharge KPI timescales are adhered to within the WLCH.

Key Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with Team Managers to develop strong community links, ensuring effective housing support for all residents.
• Directly run, manage or supervise groups or activities as appropriate.
• Effectively manage a service user caseload by prioritising workload.
• Organise and provide purposeful one to one service user action planning sessions and reviews.
• Directly run, manage, or supervise activities and groups designed to support residents in the discharge process and their integration into previous or new living arrangements.
• Adhere to the Community service referral procedure.
• Using their processes, provide a needs assessment, risk assessment and risk management plan for each individual service user.
• Where appropriate refer service users to other support services e.g. housing, counselling, CAB etc. 
• To increase service users’ independence and self-esteem, promote and encourage access to services that develop personal wellbeing, health, and life skills training
• Ensure confidentiality is maintained as detailed in their Confidentiality Policy.
• Participate in key aspects of the Service as requested by the Team Manager.

General Accountabilities

Administration:

• Maintain appropriate paperwork as required by the organisation and by the Commissioners who fund the day services.
• Provide copies of individual support plans and reviews of same to referrers.
• Accurately contribute to service monitoring systems.
• Maintain accurate service user’s records.
• Observe any written policies, procedures and guidelines for good practice issued by the organisation.
• Provide regular reports as required to the Team Leader.
• Ensure the petty cash procedures are used when money is spent locally on groups/ activities and other resources.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and their Health and Safety policies and procedures

Liaison:

• Liaise with appropriate statutory and voluntary agencies and provide information as necessary.
• Build and maintain positive and productive relationships with local community groups, resource providers, and partnership organisations.
• Present the Community Link Worker and the Day Service in a professional and positive way to external organisations.
• Attend local meetings and conferences of relevance to the service.

Supervision and Training:

• Accept regular support and monthly supervision from line management.
• Attend training courses and events as required.
• Attend and contribute to staff team meetings.
• Assist as requested in the selection of volunteers.
• Provide personal supervision to volunteers/ or less experienced workers as assigned.
• Assist as requested in the induction of new staff according to their Induction Policy

Within this role you will help deliver an exciting portfolio of integrated, multi-channel and supporter-centric campaigns that involves all elements of the marketing mix as well as a range of diverse stewardship activities. Prostate Cancer Research is seeking a an experienced, dynamic and driven Trusts & Statutory Executive. The role will take a lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners, developing and managing a pipeline of funding partners that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work. 

Since 2018, PCR has significantly increased income from Trusts & Foundations and Statutory sources, as well as working in collaboration with other medical research charities and non-profits. This is a newly created and integral role within the Partnership Fundraising team to build on this work and will be key to identifying and nurturing relationships with prospective partners and funders, as well as developing and implementing comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective partners. 

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of developing and nurturing relationships with funding partners (with experience of identifying and securing at least five-figure income), understanding complex issues and working with others to identify solutions, and producing compelling funding proposals in support of this work. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and manage strong, impactful relationships. 

Finally, candidates must have a passion for securing funding that will help improve the lives of people with prostate cancer and a commitment to advancing healthcare through strategic partnerships and collaboration. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct proactive prospecting and qualification of Trusts & Statutory funding opportunities to build a robust pipeline of potential funders. 

• Identify and nurture relationships with prospective Trust & Foundations and Statutory funding partners aligned with the mission and values of PCR. 

• Develop and implement comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective funding partners. 

• Stay informed about PCR’s current and future work and translate larger, complex programmes of work into relevant, compelling funding asks.

• Work closely with PCR's delivery departments and other income streams to identify, develop and maximise income generation opportunities. 

• Lead the preparation and submission of funding applications and reports for both existing and prospective funders. 

• Develop compelling, high-quality proposals for new and existing programmes, ensuring they are tailored to each funder’s priorities and aligned with organisational objectives.

• Lead negotiations and secure funding support from funding partners for activities aligned with PCR’s programmes of work. 

• Effectively manage project monitoring and reporting for PCR’s existing funded activities with identified funding partners, including regular communication, reporting, and public recognition of contributions (as appropriate), working closely with PCR’s delivery and communications teams.

• Stay informed of industry trends, giving initiatives, and relevant developments to inform partnership strategies and opportunities. 

• Represent PCR at external events, conferences, and meetings to promote partnership opportunities and expand our network, as required. 

• Database management to record pipeline and enable strategic planning against established KPIs and income targets. 

• Support Director of Partnerships to monitor and report income performance to PCR’s Board of Trustees.

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Housing, we are looking for a Head of Maintenance and Estates to lead on the effective delivery of an efficient and customer focused maintenance and estate service across our properties within SIG. We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in managing similar repairs and estates services and who is able to lead a team to be empowered to provide a high-quality service. You will be able to to develop and implement maintenance plans, strategies, and procedures, and have confidence to take ownership of your department, making key decisions.

• Management and leadership experience, including with direct line of reports and indirect
• Experience in developing and implementing formal maintenance plans, strategies, and procedures with a key eye to detail
• Experience in directing and delivering customer service functions, ideally in a repairs and maintenance or cleaning context

The Press and Communications officer will oversee our press and media activity, writing press releases and building strong relationships with local and, where relevant, national media. The post holder will be responsible for producing marketing materials – print and online – for the organisation. The post holder will be responsible for Age UK website – liaising with colleagues to keep service information up to date, writing and producing relevant news articles and content as needed, auditing and organising existing website content.  This role also supports the fundraising and income generation areas of work within the organisation including producing communications and materials for aspects such as fundraising campaigns, corporate volunteering and general fundraising activities. ​

It is a very exciting time to join the MS Society as Director of Income Generation a brand-new role in the organisation. We are implementing an ambitious cross-organisational transformation programme. And we have just started a new 2025-29 strategy. Income Generation is central to both.

We are transforming our approach to engagement to grow and deepen relationships with all our audiences. This creates an opportunity to integrate our approach to engagement and income generation. We are looking for someone to provide strategic and thought leadership to income generation.  Someone who can work collaboratively across the organisation to lead and drive forward our ambition for income generation.

You will act as the leading authority on matters relating to income generation, providing advice across the organisation including to the Executive Group and Trustees.

You will enable the delivery of related transformation programmes that increase and diversify income. And have strategic ownership of the income generation programme, including income-related activities and KPIs within the engagement calendar, and customer experience and journeys relating to financial supporters

You will lead on income generation functions planning and budget setting contributing to the overall business planning process for the Income and Engagement Directorate

We are looking to appoint an exceptional individual to join our team of six Strategic Partnership Advisors across England. In this role, you will support key partners, including Active Partnerships, National Governing Bodies of Sport, local authorities, and leisure providers to become more effective in their role of enabling more disabled people to be active.

You will possess a strong understanding of the sport and activity sector, including its operations, and be able to advocate for improvements that help more disabled people become active. Additionally, you will be aware of the broader systems and barriers that disabled people encounter in sports and activities, as well as organisations such as disabled people’s user-led organisations and various charities, to build relationships and foster effective cross-sector partnerships.

We are looking for an individual with experience of working strategically at a place based and/or locality level within the South West region. Someone who can positively influence local developments, systems and investments to tackle the inequalities disabled people face in sport and activity through inclusive practice.

The successful candidate will work remotely from home and be based in the South West region. This role will involve travel across the region and occasional travel to our Loughborough and Manchester offices.

This role is full-time (36 hours) and permanent.

We offer 26.5 days of annual leave, including birthday leave, plus bank holidays. Activity Alliance also closes between Christmas and New Year which means that employees are not expected to work during this time and they are not required to use their annual leave allowance to have this time free from work.
