About the team
This is an important role based in a busy Operations team which covers office management, information technology, finance and human resources. The team play a key role in supporting the organisation to achieve its mission of supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed.
The Operations team comprises the Director of Finance and Operations, HR and Learning Manager, Head of Finance, HR Officer, Finance and Operations Assistant and a part time Administrator. Payroll and IT support are outsourced.
About this role
The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Chief Executive at Impetus plays a vital role in providing high-level administrative and project management support to the Chief Executive and ensuring the smooth operating of the Senior Management Team (SMT). The EA acts as a key liaison between the Chief Executive and internal/external stakeholders, managing sensitive information and handling a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks.
This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer creative solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Key responsibilities
Executive Support:
- Provide sophisticated calendar management for the Chief Executive.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the Chief Executive, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature.
- Prioritise and determine the appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising judgement to reflect the Chief Executive’s style and organisational policy.
- Prioritise inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; make judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
- Anticipate the Chief Executive’s needs (e.g. travel bookings, briefings, preparation time) in advance of meetings, conferences, etc.
- Coordinate all SMT meetings and offsites and assist with staff meetings and events as needed.
- Work closely with the Chief Executive to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
- Act as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the Chief Executive updated.
- Provide a "gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, providing a bridge for smooth communication between the Chief Executive and staff, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with the senior management team.
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the CEO’s ability to effectively lead the organisation including: assisting with special projects; designing and producing complex documents, reports, and presentations; collecting and preparing information for meetings with staff and outside parties; composing and preparing correspondence; maintaining contact lists; making travel arrangements; and completing expenses.
Governance:
- Act as a liaison and provide support to the Board of Directors.
- Arrange and handle all logistics for Board meetings, sub committees and events: schedule meetings; draft agendas; develop, compile, and distribute presentation materials and record meeting minutes.
Operations Support:
- Support a professional and effective office/remote working environment for Impetus staff.
- Assist the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) with any ad hoc Operations duties and projects, such as an office move, health and safety reviews, optimising remote and agile working.
- Assist the HR and Learning Manager with HR administration, including straightforward queries, recruitment support and ad hoc projects where needed.

Qualifications and Experience
- Significant executive support experience, acting as a trusted advisor and support to senior colleague/s (ideally within the charity or not for profit sector).
- Good business acumen and a keen interest and understanding of operations support.
- Excellent technical skills. Experience utilising CRM systems effectively; expert proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to design and edit graphic presentations and materials.
- Exceptional organisational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
- Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance.

At Action Tutoring, data is central to everything we do. With an evidence-based culture and impact at the centre of our strategy, gathering and analysing high-quality data is a key priority.
Our highly customised Salesforce database supports every aspect of our work—capturing and managing data from volunteers, pupils, schools, and tutoring sessions. As Data and Insights Manager, you will make sure our system remains fit for purpose and help turn data into meaningful insights that can inform decision-making.
Duties and responsibilities
Salesforce and systems development
- Collaborate with external Salesforce development consultants to continue building our system capabilities and design.
- Design and oversee the collection of stakeholder, tutoring delivery, quality assurance and evaluation data, working with colleagues to ensure data is collected in a timely, accurate and consistent manner.
Team leadership and support
- Line manage the Data Lead, ensuring their work is of high quality and they have clear development objectives.

About the Role
Responsibilities of the role comprise:
Campaign planning
- Lead the delivery of an ambitious and creative media and campaign strategy to bring about an improved recognition of the value and impact of youth work.

- Lead proactive media monitoring, enabling timely responses to significant developments and tracking positions on issues relating to NYA’s work.

- Managing and responding to reactive media enquiries, providing statement and reactive ‘lines to take’, with the support of the Head of Communications

About You
Essential competencies of the Campaigns and Media Manager:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Lead to manage and collaborate with an external development/implementation partner and coordinate the smooth adoption of Salesforce within the Charity. This critical role will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from planning and requirements gathering to execution, testing, training, and post-implementation support. About the role
We are looking for an experienced marcomms professional to help us upscale our campaigns activity. From leading the national Tomorrow’s Engineers Week campaign and leveraging external awareness days to increasing audience engagement with our work, this is a varied role working across the marketing, communications, PR mix. Purpose of the role:
We are looking for 2 Mental Health Personal Independence Co-ordinator’s to join our team.
The Mental Health Personal Independence Co-ordinator (MHPIC) will work as part of the MHPIC team and will work alongside clinical and social care professionals in local multi-disciplinary teams assigned to specific GP surgeries. Each MHPIC will be assigned to a specific locality located within the Integrated Care Network Plus health and social care systems in either North, Central or South Croydon. The multi-disciplinary team learning and development during the initial two-year test period will inform the development and growth of the MHPIC team to ensure that it can support community-based mental health and wellbeing across the whole population and in all 6 Integrated Care Network Plus localities.
MHPICs will provide initial contact and assessment conversations with clients using Open Dialogue tools and techniques to enable people to develop their own Personal Recovery Plans and supporting them directly over a period of time to find and access the support and services available to them in their local community.
Each MHPIC will be the direct named key worker for a set number of people who are referred to the service by healthcare professionals, including GPs, Mental Health Practitioners & Health Care Assistants, Social Prescribers and other voluntary or community sector organisations. They will provide one-to-one support in the achievement of an individual’s recovery goals, ensuring that support is person- centred; that needs and wishes are identified by people themselves; that they have a stronger voice in relation to issues that affect their lives; and that they are supported and empowered to improve and/or maintain their mental health and wellbeing and to live their best independent lives.
Support in the community includes home visits. The aim of home visits is to assess clients' strengths and needs and link these to agency and community resources, and to ensure that individual clients’ needs can be met within a risk-assessed policy approach.

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Coordinator to oversee one of our Ofsted supported accommodation services in Hillingdon.
As a Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of accommodation provisions, ensuring that people we work alongside receive person-centred, trauma-informed support in a safe and welcoming environment.
You will lead and develop a team of Support Workers, providing guidance and motivation to ensure they can effectively support young people in working towards independence. A key part of the role will involve working in partnership with external agencies to ensure the people we support can access the services they need. You will also be responsible for monitoring performance, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards.
We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop a team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred support and experience working with young people. Strong communication skills and the ability to build partnerships with external agencies are essential, along with a sound knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and housing-related support.

About the role
As Senior Influencing Manager (Regions), you will play a leading role in shaping and delivering high-impact regional strategies that drive policy and practice change for children living in poverty in England. You'll be responsible for working with key Combined and Local Authorities, civil society partners, and Save the Children's place-based teams to deliver change that reflects the real needs and experiences of families. You will be a part of a team working on policy change at Regional and National levels, and will work closely with colleagues working in communities driving local change. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of policy, community, and political advocacy—ideal for someone passionate about place-based change and committed to improving outcomes for children.

In this role, you will:
- Develop and lead evidence-informed regional influencing strategies that centre families' lived experience and drive tangible policy change.
- Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders in Local and Combined Authorities to shape decisions that impact children and families.
- Work closely with research and policy colleagues to generate insights and proposals that resonate with regional leaders and community priorities
- Manage and support a small, multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality work that supports regional and national influencing goals.
- Collaborate with children, families, civil society partners and internal teams to ensure our strategies are inclusive, grounded and impactful.
- Contribute to the leadership of the wider England and Westminster team, helping shape priorities and culture across the UK Impact department.
About you
To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Proven experience developing and delivering regional or local influencing strategies that lead to policy or systems change.
- Strong understanding of local government systems, combined authorities, and the wider UK political landscape.
- A commitment to working alongside communities and using lived experience to inform strategy and influence.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to work across internal teams and external stakeholders with credibility and empathy.
- Experience leading and supporting high-performing teams in a collaborative, inclusive way.
- Commitment to Save the Children's vision, mission and values.

Ways of Working:
