The Services Marketing and Communications Officer is responsible for developing and delivering marketing and communications plans to support specific service KPI’s and objectives.

The successful candidate will be a marketing and communications all-rounder, with a working understanding of brand, marketing, communications, media relations, PR and social media relating to services, and able to work with marcomms colleagues to support services through these channels.

Main Responsibilities:

· Develop and deliver bespoke marketing and communications plans and activities specific to particular Family Action services and targeted at their audiences (public and professional).

· Develop marketing collateral, press releases, guides/toolkits, adverts, articles for professional magazines, e-bulletins/newsletters, web pages, events, etc.

· Ensure all services marketing activity is brand compliant and aligned to Family Action’s corporate priorities, as well as meeting the needs of the specific service.

· Manage the production of marketing collateral using design tools/software and/or Family Action templates. This will include copywriting, proof reading, image selection.

· Liaison with and management of external suppliers, such as designers and printers, when appropriate. Management of the production process on behalf of the service/s you work for and budget management.

· Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering a range of successful marketing and communications activity across multiple channels and for a variety of stakeholders.

· Experience of working within a corporate visual identity and translating that for multiple uses.

· Experience of materials development, e.g. writing, editing, proofreading, design (including the use of design software).

· Some understanding of website design and delivery, e.g. developing content, navigation, accessibility, SEO.

· Experience of managing external consultants and suppliers, e.g designers, printers.

· Experience of managing projects to be delivered on time and in budget.

· A marketing or design qualification or similar experience, and evidence of a commitment to continuing learning and professional development.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Interest in the charity sector and social impact.

We are recruiting for an experienced Employment and Transition Mentor to work closely with Autistic/neurodivergent individuals aged 16 to 25 residing in the Bromley borough, to enable skills which will assist them in overcoming barriers to employment and achieving their vocational goals.

This role involves assessment, guidance, and advocacy to ensure that each student reaches their maximum potential. 

In partnership with the London Borough of Bromley, this new unique role has been developed as part of an exciting pilot project funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to support autistic/neurodivergent students to transition from school into further training or permanent paid employment. 

The successful candidate will provide training and workshops to participants and their support networks to enhance understanding and coping skills. In addition, the role will be required to provide training for other stakeholders (employers and other organisations) to raise awareness and ensure they understand the needs of the participants. 

Main Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants to help them take the steps they need to gain employment. This can include CV writing, interview practice, work experience, apprenticeships, college and/or other vocational courses, paid employment opportunities.
• Work closely with local employers and engage them in signing up to the Employability programme  
• Act as main liaison between participants and professionals working with the participant to ensure that reasonable adjustments are made to enable success
• Provide information and signposting & collaboration opportunities to participants.
• Work closely with participants to identify and address their employability and reasonable adjustment needs

The For Baby’s Sake Trust seeks to appoint a Deputy Director of Operations. The Deputy Director will work with the Director of Operations to lead programme development and delivery across the Trust. JOB PURPOSE

To inspire people with mental health conditions to progress, and to gain and sustain paid employment.  Some Employment Specialists will support clients with common (mild to moderate) mental health conditions (e.g. anxiety, depression), whilst others will support clients with more severe and enduring mental illness (e.g. schizophrenia, bipolar, personality disorders).

Depending on what clients are right for you to work with, you will either work across the local NHS primary or secondary care network alongside NHS clinicians to secure client referrals.

To work with clients with more serious mental illness, you will need to be comfortable supporting people who have experienced / are experiencing serious mental health challenges, as well as possibly other serious difficulties in their lives.  Although you will receive full training and support, it’s important you are aware of the potential impact this may have on your own mental wellbeing.

All Employment Specialists will follow the 8 principles of IPS, adhere to the IPS Fidelity Scale and achieve monthly targets and KPIs with the required administration and compliance.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Engage a caseload of clients with mental health problems and establish trusting, collaborative relationships to support them into employment in line with contract targets and IPS fidelity.

2. Assess clients’ employment support needs; implementing and adjusting employment plans as necessary to support each client’s desired outcomes along IPS requirements.

3. Develop and deliver a range of practical services to meet clients’ needs including career guidance, job searching, CV preparation, interview skills, individual coping techniques or work coaching.

4. Build a constant flow of referrals to ensure a dynamic caseload.

5. Conduct weekly employer engagement activity in line with IPS Fidelity.

6. Understand the complex issues a client may face, recognise holistic support needs and work in conjunction with clinical staff.

7. Facilitate access to expert financial advice on welfare benefits and ‘access to work’ resources.

8. Provide support and reasonable adjustments if required, to employed clients to support them to stay and progress in work.

9. As requested, attend clinical team meetings to provide advice and information on employment and IPS.

10. Collaborate with community partners to raise awareness of employment and mental health issues and promote access to the service.

11. Maintain accurate and up to date records of activity and outcomes in line with service requirements, ensuring the IT database is up to date and paperwork compliant.

12. Update and maintain NHS database (IAPTus).

13. Receive regular supervision and training to meet individual, team and organization’s needs.

14. Contribute to the development of a service that is locally responsive and supports minority/disadvantaged communities.

This role plays a pivotal part in planning and delivering marketing and communications activities to key audiences, such as supporters, volunteers, journalists, ambassadors and staff. Integrated marketing campaigns are integral to Sands’ growth and are key to driving brand awareness, reach, engagement, income growth and social change.

The duties of the role include writing, editing, co-ordinating and publishing content across various channels, including Sands’ website, social media, email, and print and online marketing materials. You will need to work closely with other internal teams to plan and implement communications and marketing campaigns to drive awareness or income, while progressively improving organisational understanding of what works for different audiences.

You will also support the Marketing & Campaigns Manager in the delivery of our major integrated campaigns and appeals, and work closely with other members of the Engagement team to support all communications aims and outcomes.

An excellent communicator and team player, you will have a sound knowledge and experience of social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and related platforms. With paid online marketing experience (e.g. in PPC or Social Media), comfortable using digital tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and be able to write engaging copy with good editorial skills. 

This role will specialise in leading marketing and communications support of the Research, Education and Policy department, which covers a range of work including our work to save babies’ lives, training and education, and influencing policy through campaigning and advocacy.

About the role:

Kinship is in our third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We are looking for a new Associate Director of Peer Support and Community to build and develop our model and to take the team to the next phase of growth and impact.

Your first priority will be to oversee delivery of the Department for Education national Peer Support Service contract in England. You will lead the development of our hub and spoke model, with an enhanced offer of national resources and support together with a continued focus on on-the-ground support for kinship carers to set up and sustain a network of peer support groups. You will ensure all members of the team have clarity and are empowered to meet new targets and ways of working.

The role will also lead on the strategic development of peer support approaches in Wales (for which we are seeking funding), ensuring innovation and good practice is shared across the nations.

Kinship peer support groups are powerful levers for change in local, regional and national ecosystems. Your team will ensure that every kinship carer in England and Wales has access to a peer support group, or support to set up and create their own. The team will be purposeful about offering developmental support to all kinship peer support groups, including independent groups, ensuring they remain or become sustainable. And that they have resources, training and peer networks to support this.

Reflecting our strategic focus on developing our Kinship Community of more than 10,000 kinship carers across England and Wales, you will lead a new community strategy, co-ordinating the development of opportunities for community connection and community power. This will include taking leadership for developing the Kinship model of community engagement and integrating across all our ‘in person’ and digital services and activities.

You will ensure a collaborative approach with services, alignment with national and local campaigning activity, and work closely with marketing and communications colleagues to support kinship carer reach and engagement with our community offer.

We’re taking an integrated approach to our services, so you’ll collaborate well across teams to ensure that support groups and their leaders have easy access to high quality advice, information and training. The team will need to work closely with colleagues delivering our new training and support contract, funded by the Department for Education.

Key responsibilities include:

• Innovation of the Peer Support Service.

• Develop and rollout peer support and community strategy and operational plan. 

• Implement monitoring and evaluation and impact tools for timely and accurate reporting of activity and engagement.

• Work with the Development team to develop proposals for the community and peer support which are ready for fundraising and business development.

Essential requirements include:

• Substantial experience in scaling a national service or programme with high quality outputs. This includes overseeing delivery, strategic planning, budgeting, managing delivery, meeting KPIs, stakeholder engagement and reporting to funders.

• Experience of governance and managing risk on high profile service delivery.

• Experience of effective budget management.

• Significant experience of leading the development and delivery of peer support services.

Purpose of the role:

Croydon Health & Wellbeing Space (CHWS) is an exciting and dynamic service, run in partnership with Mind in Croydon and Croydon BME Forum and commissioned by South London and Maudsley Mental Health Service (SLaM). The CHWS opened in 2022 with the aim of providing advice, information, and specialist support to Croydon residents with mental health concerns, who drop-in, or have been referred to the via the local Integrated Care Network Plus multi-disciplinary clinical and community mental health support teams.

The Advice Worker will be part of a friendly team, including support workers, crisis workers and clinical mental health professionals and function as the first point of access for visitors to the CHWS. Following an initial conversation to ascertain the clients’ needs, the Advice Worker will provide information and advice, as well as signposting and referrals to specialist services, such as the Mental Health Personal Independence Co-ordinators, Social Prescribers and Community Link Workers, in addition to the wider voluntary and statutory services in the borough. The role will be fast paced and vary each day offering a fantastic opportunity for the postholder to develop their knowledge and skills and make a difference to the users of this service.

The Director of Delivery will provide leadership, develop programmes, manage direct reports and enable business planning for multi-year funding settlements for the key delivery elements of the organisation. We now have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Cloud Administrator to provide 3rd level project and helpdesk support, acting as an escalation point for the support team. This opportunity is integral to providing consistent IT support across all three of our centres.

In this role you will ensure our internal physical and virtual server and network is maintained for 7 day a week operation. Your focus will be on infrastructure, and you will work across all six of our business applications.
