- Stress busting Residential Respite Breaks, giving young carers the opportunity to make happy memories.
- Three- week SEAL education booster program including a four-day residential stay at Honeypot, to help young carers who struggle to progress in school due to poor confidence and self- belief that they can learn, to find the confidence that they can succeed in education.
- Wellbeing grants, for essential items no child should lack, such as a clean bed, or new school clothes.
- Face to face outreach including memory making days out at the beach, countryside, or fun park for young carers who never get this experience.
- Pastoral Care promoting the welfare of children and ensuring their needs are being met.
- Healthy Eating and Nutrition, for children who receive free school meals during term time but resort to sugary drinks and snacks during school holidays. Honeypot helps children to perfect a healthy signature dish and provides funds for the ingredients.
- Urgent Pastoral Care, for young carers and their families, who are struggling to cope.
As Operations Director you will be an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team with the responsibility of developing and embedding the new 3-year plan and the Charity’s values, ensuring service delivery supports the overall business strategy and plans of Honeypot, whilst meeting budget guidelines.

About the role:
We have been awarded a Department for Education contract to deliver high quality training to kinship carers across England, which will complement our existing progammes and services, including our national Peer-to-Peer Programme, innovative programmes commissioned by local authorities in England and Wales and our free information and advice services including Kinship Compass.
In order to reach and support more kinship carers with these programmes and services, we are building a new Marketing Team – comprising a Head of Marketing, Marketing Manager and Marketing Officer - to develop and deliver integrated, strategic and creative marketing campaigns and strategies.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, senior-level marketeer with a strong track record in overseeing the development and delivery of effective and successful multi-channel marketing strategies targeted at a range of audiences to join us as our Head of Marketing. We’re looking for someone excited to hit the ground running in developing a new team and function, and who is able to plan strategically and creatively about how to maximise engagement and acquisition with a small in-house team. You will play a crucial role in supporting Kinship’s growth including through income generation, by increasing brand awareness and developing compelling marketing offers for key audiences including kinship carers, local authorities and referral partners.
A strategic thinker and natural collaborator, you’ll be able to work across the organisation to develop integrated marketing strategies and plans across all of Kinship’s services and programmes, and ensure these align with our wider external communications, including to our Kinship Community of around 12,000 carers. You’ll also be comfortable getting involved in the operational delivery of our marketing plans, supporting your team of two and demonstrating an insight and audience-led approach to both digital and offline marketing, thriving in an environment where you’ll be responsible for overseeing the progress of various strands of marketing activity.
You will have significant experience in leading marketing teams in the charity sector, and have demonstrable experience in delivering successful, engaging marketing strategies in-house. You will have experience of operating at a senior management level – perhaps as a Senior Manager, Head of or other senior-level role, adept at working with senior level internal and external stakeholders.

About the role:
The first national strategy for kinship care in England is expected soon, and the focus on kinship care is growing. We have an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and strategic network builder to join us at a time of change and opportunity.
You’ll seize opportunities to influence positive change, leading on the design and delivery of targeted strategies to develop and co-ordinate strong and collaborative relationships with local authorities and other services supporting kinship families in England. You’ll lead on mapping local and national services, developing effective partnerships and connecting the ecosystem of support for kinship families so they can more easily find the support they need.
You’ll have a particular focus on developing relationships with local authorities to support the successful delivery of our new national Kinship Carer Training and Support Service, funded by the Department for Education (from October 2023 for 18 months with potential extensions up until March 2027), as well as generating opportunities for our growing peer support network and Kinship’s wider portfolio of services.
You’ll combine strategic planning with an ability to model a new way of working that is centred on partnerships, collaboration and excellent use of our Salesforce CRM. Leading a new team of two regional Network Development Managers, each of you will be responsible for delivery of your plan in one region in England (North, Midlands and South). You’ll also work closely with colleagues in Wales to support a co-ordinated approach.

Your role
As a Scope Area Manager, you’ll be out and about supporting a team of between 15-20 dedicated Shop Managers in the South London area. Overnights stays and travel will be an expected part of the role.
You’ll provide great leadership, inspiration and support to help our team be the very best they can be. You will develop your team to deliver commercial success and be passionate ambassadors for Scope within the local communities.
Permanent - 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday does include quarterly weekend working). Some home working is involved.
Starting full-time salary £35,028.70 per annum, this role will also include a Car allowance of £3,500 per annum or a company car is available.
The role will be supporting 15 Scope shops in the South London area including Beckenham, Camberwell, Mitcham and Tolworth Scope shops.
You will have previous experience of being an Area Manager with either fashion or charity experience and in the following areas as well as a great attitude and willingness to learn:
Retail knowledge
You’ll love retail, enjoy the high street experience and be confident in maintaining high merchandising standards in your shops. You will have an understanding of all the product types we sell and be able to understand the value of our stock identifying commercial sales opportunities on your area.
Leadership
You’ll have substantial leadership experience and will strive to motivate, inspire and influence your team to be the very best they can be. You will need to have strong distance management skills, be an effective communicator and be able to organise and prioritise a busy working day. We will help you to become confident in talking about the important work of Scope. You will also play a vital role in the recruitment, development and wellbeing of our Shop Managers, Assistant Shop Managers and Volunteers.

You’ll support Shop Managers to work within a framework to ensure commercial success and bring solid experience in Health & Safety.

• Support and guide your team to nurture a thriving, comprehensive PF support group network across the UK so that everyone affected by PF in the regions has access to high quality support.

You will run consultations and undertake desk research, including analysis of Kinship’s service data to identify issues and trends. You’ll work closely with services, and policy and communications team colleagues to share and use findings, and to build effective relationships to ensure research has impact.
We’re looking for someone with a broad range of research skills to support the development of an ambitious research strategy and plans, and to generate new knowledge and insight to build a high-quality evidence-base for kinship family support.

Air Ambulances UK (AAUK) is the national charity supporting the lifesaving work of the UK’s air ambulance charities, enabling them to save even more lives every day.
Purpose of Post
The postholder will be responsible for AAUK’s online digital community the Members Hub, developing additional membership benefits and creating a Membership Development Strategy. Key events include the Annual Conference and Awards of Excellence, All Party Parliamentary Group Air Ambulance Reception and attendance at Helitech, Emergency Services Show and other relevant events.
The current membership portfolio includes local air ambulance charities, air ambulance suppliers and other key stakeholders who support the air ambulance community.
Key Responsibilities
Events
- Responsible for the delivery of AAUK’s Annual Conference and Awards of Excellence including managing key suppliers, delivering the speaker programme and managing income/expenditure.
- Creation of a sponsorship pipeline for key events in collaboration with other members of the Income Generation team to ensure all opportunities for sponsorship are maximised.
- Ensure maximum benefit from AAUK’s attendance at events such as The Emergency Service Show and Helitech.
Membership
- Creation and management of a varied membership pipeline to support the expansion and diversification of membership.
- Working in collaboration with other organisations and partners to further develop the current membership offering to include additional benefits.
- Develop a Membership Development Strategy to underpin membership activities to support membership satisfaction and growth.
- Respond effectively to member enquiries, providing timely and accurate information, advice and guidance as needed.
- Responsible for all membership materials.
- Responsible for ensuring accurate membership information is recorded on AAUK’s CRM.
- Ensure membership engagement in key AAUK campaigns such as Air Ambulances Week.
Members Hub
- Ownership of the AAUK Members Hub, the digital community for members including the ongoing development of the platform.
- Identify new functionality and opportunities to develop the Members Hub to maximise engagement from and benefit to members.
- Provide relevant content, moderation and identification of key trends and areas of positive and negative member feedback within the Members Hub.
Other
- Represent and be an ambassador for AAUK.
- Work to support AAUK‘s vision, purpose, values, goals, and priorities.
- Be flexible and carry out any other associated duties that may arise, develop, or be assigned.
- Report and present to the AAUK Board when necessary.

If you have experience of delivering a successful peer support service or volunteer programme this is a genuinely exciting opportunity to develop a new service for an established patient support charity. Based remotely, but able to travel frequently in and around to London, we are seeking a creative, organised and committed programme manager.
Kidney Care will be working with the London Kidney Network and peer support champions from London NHS Trusts to establish a London-wide kidney peer support service. The ambition is to develop the service to cover the UK.
This is all about connecting people who are living with kidney failure, and applications from people with personal experience of the condition as a patient or carer are encouraged.
This is a new service for Kidney Care UK and the programme manager will be instrumental in scoping and implementing processes and procedures to deliver a compassionate, safe and valued service. The role will also ensure that all volunteers giving their time to Kidney Care UK have a fulfilling experience and will support colleagues across the organisation to confidently engage and support their own volunteers.

About the Peer Support Service
The Peer Support Service connects people affected by CKD with a volunteer who shares a similar lived experience. Alongside partners in the London Kidney Network, we will recruit, train and support volunteers to provide a friendly listening ear and share practical information to build confidence in decision making, explore options and make informed choices about a range of issues from treatment to travel. Patients, their families and caregivers will access the service to request a conversation with someone matched on a range of factors which could include treatment modality, location, age and life experience.
This is a new service that the Peer Support manager will establish and shape, working effectively with stakeholders to build a trusted service that patients and healthcare professionals want to engage with. This is very much a hands-on role covering all aspects of delivering the service; creating resources and processes; recruiting, training and stewarding volunteers; promotion, and building relationships with NHS renal units to attract service users; and of course, matching individuals to encourage patients to feel empowered to make choices and manage their condition with confidence.

ABOUT THE ROLE
On the back of our successful pro-environmental behaviour change work, in 2013, the Home Office funded NUS to develop a parallel programme to promote the responsible consumption of alcohol by students. Alcohol Impact was launched in 2014, and it has grown year on year. The programme is a supported accreditation mark for students’ unions and their institutions working together to encourage students to consume alcohol responsibly and provide an inclusive campus for those who do not drink. From October 2019, The programme is managed and run by SOS-UK.
Based on the success of Alcohol Impact, in 2020, SOS-UK developed a parallel accreditation programme Drug and Alcohol Impact. Drug & Alcohol Impact is our whole-institution strategic framework designed to embed responsible drinking on our campuses and develop drug harm reduction policies and interventions to reduce the negative outcomes of student drug use.
You will work alongside the Senior Project Manager for Alcohol Impact, Drug and Alcohol Impact and Drink Rethink – as well as a mix of our smaller projects and campaigns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Project management of our wellbeing programmes, projects and campaigns.
- Acting as the first point of contact for students and staff at your allocated organisations.
- Contribution to the development of programme resources and communications.
- Planning, designing and delivering engaging training sessions.
- Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of programmes.

About the role:
This is an exciting new role, leading the new digital team of five in Kinship. We’re developing a new website alongside the delivery of a brand-new training service for kinship carers.
The focus for your team is to build a brilliant website and digital products which meet the needs of our kinship carers and our other key audiences. We’ve already launched Kinship Compass, our online information hub for kinship carers and part of the new website redevelopment will be to create one seamless experience and integrate both.
You’ll manage Content Designers who will create user led content for Kinship Compass (online advice and information) and our training service – creating online content and workshop content. They will work closely with subject experts across the organisation.
You’ll provide digital leadership, increasing our digital capabilities across the organisation by driving innovation. Identifying opportunities to leverage gen AI and machine learning to develop our online services and content.
We’re looking for someone who is curious about using digital to support and enhance our services for kinship carers. And you’ll use data and insight to do that, continually optimising user journeys and experiences.
Our influencing, campaigning, research and policy work is core to changing the system for kinship carers and our new website needs to support the strategic objectives for these audiences. Working with our fundraising team, the right person will support the team to create better supporter journeys.
We have just been awarded the Department for Education contract to deliver high quality training to kinship carers across England. You will work closely with the Advice, Training and Information team to ensure kinship carers are able to book online or face-to-face training through our website without friction.
This is a new role and team so you will need to be someone who is comfortable with a high level of ambiguity and who is able to build high performing and effective teams quickly.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across Kinship and in cross-functional teams will be to be a key strength. You’ll need to be curious, detail orientated with an improvement mindset.
A new Associate Director of Advice, Training and Information will set up and embed a new Knowledge Board, which you will also co-own. The board will develop a new taxonomy which will form the framework for all content (including online) to support kinship carers as they become and live as a kinship carer.
You’ll be supported by an ambitious and supportive executive team and will join a high performing senior management team.

Role outline and purpose
The Learning Specialist will assist in the design and delivery of appropriate blended solutions to meet individual, team and organisational learning and development needs that will support and equip the workforce to achieve the vision of an end to the need for foodbanks in the UK.

Support Coordinator

We are looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join our Stroke Recovery Service based in East Berkshire.
Position: S1102 Stroke Association Support Coordinator
Location: Home based, East Berkshire, however, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (May include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to support service users and the delivery of the service.
Reporting to the Stroke Association Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Association Support Coordinator will:
- Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
- Provide personalised information, advice and support.
- Support clients to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes
- Be accountable for volunteers, so experience of recruiting, training and managing volunteers would be an advantage.
- You will have excellent IT skills and demonstrate a flexible approach to your role.

The post holder will have experience/background in:
- A caring profession ideally with experience of supporting people with disabilities.
- Setting up and running virtual groups.

PACE is a grassroots play charity based in the London Borough of Camden, originally founded in 2011 by a group of parents and play work professionals who created a mission to create and sustain high-quality, inclusive and responsive services that improve the well being of children, young people and their families.
