Key Priorities and Actions
· Deliver a management development programme with measurable impact
· Provide workforce analytics to inform strategic decisions and reduce agency spend

What We’re Looking For
- CIPD Level 7 (or working towards) or equivalent

- Strong coaching, influencing, and analytical skills
- Commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and the rights of people with learning disabilities
- Knowledge of CQC/Ofsted frameworks and sector reforms is a plus

Main purpose of the role

- Good financial planning skills and experiences of successfully managing a substantial budget;
- Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively to develop and implement community plans;

What could my day look like?
The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.
In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.
As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.

We launched the award-winning Spear Programme over 20 years ago, and there are now 18 Spear Centres across the country, equipping unemployed 16–24-year-olds facing barriers to employment with the skills and mindset they need to secure work and thrive in the workplace.

About the role

About the role

You’ll be confident generating ideas and facilitating workshops or co-design activities, as well as creating wireframes and prototypes at the right level of detail using tools such as Miro and Figma. Key result areas:
Fundraising
· To set the strategic direction for income generation at Age UK Merton, developing and delivering a sustainable portfolio of future-focused fundraising that grows income and optimises the supporter journey over the long term.
· To lead the diversification of income, reducing reliance on any single partner or
activity and building a resilient, balanced fundraising portfolio that represent a high return on investment and grows our supporter base.
