You will need:
· Accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA) or equivalent senior experience in charity finance.
· A strong track record delivering management and statutory accounts, budgets, forecasts and audits in a charity environment.
· Confidence with payroll, Gift Aid and VAT; skilled in Excel and modern finance systems
· Line-manage and support a capable Finance Assistant; work closely with our Head of Services, HR Officer and Maintenance Lead
· Evidence you’ve designed and run a whole-organisation compliance/assurance approach (calendars, owners, evidence, escalation) with on-time returns.
· Experience coordinating KPI dashboards and risk registers that drive action, not paperwork.
· Clear, plain-English communication with non-finance colleagues and Trustees; a calm, organised style; and a focus on getting the basics right on time, every time.

Your Role
The Community Fundraiser will strengthen our connections with Leeds communities and grow sustainable income for the charity, working alongside the Community Fundraising and Events Manager to develop strong relationships with community groups and individuals across Leeds.
Key responsibilities include
Community Engagement and Fundraising
- Develop relationships and apply to Leeds based groups for funding.
- Inspire and support fundraising activity that reflects the city’s diverse neighbourhoods.
- Work with the current Community Fundraising and Events Manager to encourage and support local fundraising activity.
- Act as a visible, approachable representative of the charity in Leeds neighbourhoods.
- Enhance our offer by hosting fundraising events at Lineham Farm.
- Build awareness of the charity’s brand across Leeds, so more people know who we are and what we do.
Regular Giving and Supporter Growth
- Promote and grow regular giving schemes within community networks.
- Work with supporters to turn event participants and one-off donors into long-term givers.
- Support the Marketing Manager to develop messaging, materials and campaigns that encourage sustained support.
Supporter Data and Income Tracking
- Monitor and report on all income and supporter engagement, using the charity’s CRM.
- Ensure all activity is compliant with Fundraising Regulator Code of Practice and GDPR requirements.
- Set and monitor targets aligned with departmental KPIs and board reporting cycles.

About the role:
Moving Medicine is an award-winning initiative of the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK (FSEM) aimed at improving health through physical activity. It provides healthcare professionals with practical tools and evidence-based resources to promote physical activity in clinical practice. Moving Medicine is our free, award-winning initiative, designed to provide clinicians and allied health professionals with accessible, evidence based, condition specific information to help give advice on physical activity at all stages of a patient’s treatment pathway.
We are expanding our impact through the development of additional Moving Medicine resources for patients. This role will include project managing two large, interlinked projects, with time split across both:
One project is in conjunction with Nuffield Health, the project funders, will initially focus on publishing the newly built Moving Medicine Everyone website (due for publication in November 2025) and accompanying educational resources. The Project Manager will work closely with Moving Medicine clinicians, healthcare partners, stakeholders, and academic collaborators. A key aspect of this role will be to coordinate stakeholder engagement, facilitate collaborative input from academic and clinical experts, and support the demonstration of social impact through evaluation and dissemination activities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in aligning the project with strategic goals, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining strong relationships.
The other project, Moving Together, is a national collaborative initiative led by the FSEM in partnership with Active Partnerships National Office and funded by Sport England (National Lottery). The project is building a broad cross-sector network and aims to empower people with long-term health conditions to access physical activity by removing barriers, developing evidence-based frameworks, training resources, and governance structures that enable consistent, safe, and effective physical activity conversations across sectors and systems. Working closely with clinicians, patients, policymakers, and professional bodies, Moving Together connects national standards with local implementation, supporting workforce development, data-driven evaluation, and sustainable behaviour change to improve population health and reduce inequalities.

Our business plan focuses on growing membership and Chartered Status, and providing meaningful professional learning opportunities for the teaching profession. This role will support our transition from our in-house management platform to Salesforce.
The Opportunity
Our Membership Platform supports the College membership functions to make a difference to the lives of over 3.6 million children taught by our members. It is used to track, manage and support our members to access their benefits.
We are recruiting a Ruby Developer within the Service Operations team to manage our membership platform and provide support to users who access it. During the contract you will:
- Monitor and resolve any issues arising with the platform.
- Manage and maintain the platform so it remains operational.
- Work closely with the Head of Data and Digital to successfully transform and move the current data and services to a new platform built on Salesforce.
- Support membership operations with reporting, payment and refund requests.
This would be an ideal opportunity to work on a project to move our data and processes from a Ruby platform to Salesforce which will move the College’s processes forward to ensure a strong future. In this role you will:
- have autonomy for maintaining and managing our existing membership platform;
- work collaboratively with many of the team across the business, supporting recruitment and retention of our members; and
- help to grow the professional membership organisation for the teaching profession and be part of the team driving the organisation forward at an exciting time for the future of the College.
Platform Management and Maintenance
Most of the time, you will be managing the membership platform, fixing any bugs, keeping the server up to date, ensuring stability, and providing reports to various stakeholders within the College. You will also provide support to the membership team with refund requests through GoCardless and Stripe.
Data and Process Transition
You will spend some of your time working with the Head of Data and Digital to move all relevant membership data and processes over to Salesforce. This will entail preparing data in the correct format and providing support to move automated processes over to the new system.

The role
St John’s Foundation is looking to recruit a Finance Director.
As Finance Director, you will sit on the Executive team at St John’s, along with our CEO and our Director of Operations and contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation whilst embedding our values and embodying a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
You will lead our Finance, Technology and Operational Governance functions, guiding a skilled and committed group of colleagues. In Finance, you will oversee a team spanning financial control, business partnering, management accounting and bookkeeping. Alongside this, you will provide strategic direction to our Technology and Operational Governance teams, shaping how they work to ensure the charity remains transparent, accountable and forward-looking.
About you
- Be a qualified accountant with significant strategic and operational senior management experience in a financial role and significant post qualification experience working in the commercial or not for profit sector ideally with some experience within the charity sector.
- Proven ability to shape and deliver financial strategy, ensuring robust governance, sustainability, and value for money across a complex charitable organisation.
- Strong track record in driving digital innovation, technology adoption, and data-led decision making to improve efficiency and insight. Expertise in developing effective governance frameworks, managing organisational risk, and ensuring compliance with charity, company, and data protection regulations also useful but not essential.
- Skilled at engaging Boards, Trustees, and senior teams with clarity and credibility. Have resilience to adapt quickly to changing priorities and demands from internal and external stakeholders.
- Experienced in leading and developing high-performing teams through change, encouraging accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Committed to inclusion, transparency, and integrity—embodying the charity’s mission and values in all aspects of financial and organisational stewardship.

This new role of Strategic Partnership Lead: Physical Activity and Health (Warwickshire) has been created as a result of securing funding through Sport England Place Investment (Place Universal Offer) for Warwickshire. The role will lead the strategic direction of our place-based work across Warwickshire, with a predominant focus on Warwickshire North Place as identified by need.
The development of this role reflects the strategic relevance of physical activity in Warwickshire, particularly at a place-level. We envisage physical activity continuing to be used as part of the prevention agenda to tackle the health issues people experience in Warwickshire and to reduce local inequalities.
The role will be employed through Think Active; however, as Warwickshire North is a priority for this funding, the role will be hosted jointly by Think Active and George Elliot Hospital in Nuneaton on behalf of Warwickshire North Place partners.

• Lead and project manage the implementation of the Place Universal Offer Investment across Warwickshire, with a focus on Warwickshire North Place, in accordance with the Conditions of Award.
• Lead the development and implementation of the Place Universal Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for Warwickshire.
• Manage the Place Universal Offer Budget.
• Lead on the design, coordination, and delivery of place-based projects aligned with strategic and local goals within Warwickshire North.
• Manage resources, timelines, and evaluation activity, ensuring effective use of investment and high-quality outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across sectors, acting as a trusted partner and connector. Partnerships should cover the NHS, both local Trusts but also General Practice and allied staff, the Community and Voluntary Sector and a variety of local government contacts. Be adept at dealing with barriers to partnership working, if and when they arise.

Role Overview
This senior, hands-on role will lead our corporate fundraising, winning, growing, and stewarding strategic partnerships that deliver both income and impact. You’ll shape a clear offer for businesses (from White City Innovation District players to household names), design engaging staff experiences, and tell the story of one partnership → borough-wide impact. You’ll work closely with the CEO, trustees and colleagues in Partnerships/Grants, Impact and Comms. You’ll also have delivery resources to succeed: access to consultancy for prospect research, bid support, creative, etc., and a campaign/event budget.
Targets & Trajectory (guiding KPIs):
• Income: £75k–£125k secured within 18 months; £150k–£200k by end of year two.
• Portfolio: 15+ active corporate relationships; 95% retention.
• Pipeline: Balanced mix of local (e.g., White City Innovation District) and London-wide corporates.
• Engagement: Deliver 1–2 cultivation events/year with team and trustee involvement.
Key Responsibilities
1) New Business & Pipeline
• Build and manage a tiered prospect pipeline (e.g., Disney, Imperial College London, L’Oréal; innovation district and borough anchor institutions).
• Lead outreach, discovery, and tailored proposals for £10k–£50k+ partnerships (CIC/CSR/ESG, sponsorship, skills/volunteering, payroll giving, in-kind, cause-related marketing).
• Co-create compelling value propositions and packages (local stories + measurable outcomes + staff engagement).
• Use the consultancy budget strategically (e.g., research, copy/design, senior introductions) to accelerate conversion.
2) Account Management & Stewardship
• Provide excellent partner experience and stewardship plans; agree on KPIs/MOUs and deliverables; renew and grow multi-year partnerships.
• Design staff engagement that goes beyond volunteering: insight sessions, youth-led events, site visits, mentoring, pro-bono sprints.
• Work with Impact to evidence results (dashboards, case studies, SROI), and with Comms on brand-aligned content and events.
3) Strategy, Governance & Reporting
• Own the corporate income plan aligned to our Revenue Growth Strategy (with realistic quarterly milestones and early-warning triggers).
• Track pipeline and income on the CRM; produce quarterly RAG dashboards for the Task Force/Board.
• Uphold ethical screening and brand alignment; ensure legal/compliance and safeguarding standards are met.
4) Internal & External Collaboration
• Partner with Partnerships & Grants to align offers and avoid duplication (trusts/consortia insight sharing).
• Leverage the CEO and trustees for warm introductions; brief and support them for pitches/cultivation.
• Champion youth voice and member benefits in every partnership.
