Help tackle child food insecurity by working directly with schools, building relationships, capturing impact, and supporting community fundraising that drives real change.

This is an opportunity to join a growing charity at a pivotal moment and play a key role in expanding a national programme supporting children and families across the UK. This is one of the charity’s first two hires and is a hands-on role in a small team.

MCKS Charitable Foundation works with schools to provide pantry and breakfast support to families experiencing food insecurity. We currently support over 180 schools and are now scaling our work towards 500+ schools nationally.

We’re looking for a Schools, Community & Impact Manager to help us strengthen our relationships with schools, understand how our support is being used, and capture the stories and data that allow us to grow our impact.

This is a varied, outward-facing role where you’ll work directly with schools, build trusted relationships, and ensure we are delivering support in the most effective way possible.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll sit at the centre of the programme, working across schools, impact and community engagement.

You will:

• Build strong relationships with schools and act as their main point of contact
• Support new schools joining the programme and help them get set up effectively
• Work with schools to understand how many pupils and families are being supported
• Identify what’s working well across schools and share best practice
• Gather impact data, case studies and stories to support fundraising and reporting
• Help develop a fair and effective funding model based on need
• Encourage schools to run simple fundraising activities within their communities
• Support wider fundraising activity by providing insight, stories and engagement

About the Role

As a Fundraising Group Moderator, you’ll manage Facebook groups of up to 10,000 challenge participants, providing exceptional supporter care and helping participants raise five‑ and six‑figure sums for some of the biggest names in the charity sector.

This role is ideal for experienced fundraisers looking for flexible freelance work or an additional income stream. You’ll work remotely, using your own laptop and WiFi, and bring your personality, empathy and initiative to every interaction.

You must be able to begin moderation at 9am (or earlier), wrap up by 9pm, and maintain our sub‑three‑hour response time.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the charity’s voice, uphold brand guidelines and act as the charity representative 

• Maintain a safe, positive and inclusive group environment

• Identify, report, escalate and signpost all safeguarding concerns

• Provide warm, friendly and informal supporter care, bringing your own personality to create an exceptional participant experience

• Motivate, encourage and support participants throughout their challenge

• Maximise registration conversions and fundraiser activation

• Work independently, manage your own time effectively, use strong initiative and correct any errors promptly

• Follow clear processes and maintain high standards of accuracy

• Identify, solve and diffuse issues within the groups

• Engage with participants using a warm, friendly and informal tone

• Respond to posts, comments, questions and inbox messages in a timely manner (within three hours)

• Use your personal Facebook profile to moderate groups and build genuine relationships

Workload & Peak Periods

Our challenge calendar has natural peaks, and moderators must be prepared for increased activity during September-November and January-March. These months see higher participant numbers and more concurrent events, meaning more posts, questions and supporter interactions. In addition to these seasonal surges, the first and last day of every month are consistently the busiest, as participants start and complete their challenge.

We maintain a flexible, supportive team culture, and to keep this fairness and flexibility in place, moderators must be willing to work occasional bank holidays and be available on the first or last day of each month, when group activity is at its highest.

We’re looking for a Programme Manager (Income Generation), who will apply project management methodologies to align all fundraising activity with the divisional objective: to bring in the funds that make our work possible.

What does this role do?
As Programme Manager (Income Generation), you will:

• apply standardised project management lifecycles, methodologies and governance to all activity in the Income Generation division, ensuring all work is aligned with strategic objectives,
• support the division to design and deliver projects, covering the full project lifecycle from initial scoping to lessons learned and evaluation,
• report on progress throughout projects, proactively identifying and communicating dependencies, risks and priorities,
• engage with stakeholders across the division to understand their projects and challenges, while working closely with the Portfolio team and other Programme Managers to align projects with wider organisational priorities.

Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for 16th and 17th April 2026, and will take place on Teams.

Could this be you?
To be successful in this role, you’ll need experience of delivering complex programmes and business planning, ideally with experience in income generation or fundraising, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities projects in this space present. Experience of supporting teams and projects through significant change, preferably supported by a qualification in project management. Our Events and Community Fundraising team raises vital funds for Prostate Cancer UK through a wide range of activities, events and challenge events. As Community Fundraising Executive, you’ll be a key member of our sector-leading team, raising over £5 million each year from individuals organising their own fundraising events and local-level corporate partnerships.

You’ll build strong, meaningful relationships with mid and high-value supporters, providing tailored stewardship that motivates, inspires and maximises their long-term fundraising impact. When young people in care turn 18, all the support they’ve relied on can fall away, literally overnight.  Suddenly, they have to navigate adulthood on their own. This would be tough for any teenager, even if they could fall back on their family for help. So it’s not surprising that two out of three care-experienced young people feel unprepared to leave care. Too many still don’t get the support they need to make it safely past this cliff edge.

Care leavers aged 18-21 are nine times more likely to experience homelessness than their peers.

Settle exists to change this. We’re an award-winning charity, supporting care-experienced young people as they move into their first home, so they can confidently transition into independent living, avoid eviction and homelessness, and establish the foundations they need to thrive in adulthood. We are on a mission to end homelessness among care-experienced young people.

With our current Head of Fundraising leaving us to go travelling, we’re seeking someone new to help us achieve this ambition. You’ll have a lot to build on. Over the last three years, we’ve grown our income dramatically, and diversified our funder portfolio. We have strong relationships with our committed and supportive funders, underpinned by an organisation-wide commitment to fundraising.

This is a crucial role for Settle, and you’ll have the support you need to excel. In 2025, we grew our fundraising team from one (this post) to three. You’ll take on the leadership of an engaged and enthusiastic team, increasingly responsible for day-to-day management of trust and foundation fundraising. As well as inspiring the team to great things, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and deepen our relationships with philanthropists and high net worth individuals. You’ll have active support and engagement from me and the Board, with regular opportunities to involve trustees in your work.

Hours: The hours are full-time (35 hours per week) preferred, with attendance at funder events outside core hours as needed from time to time – part-time will be considered for the right candidate but we envisage at least 0.8FTE / 28 hours per week

Location: Hybrid working between our office in London Bridge and working from home – our standard expectation is at least 2 days a week of contact time (in the office, funder meetings or events). We have a monthly in person team meeting on a Wednesday, and hold our monthly SLT meetings in person on a Tuesday.

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money to save the lives of people with cancer, everywhere. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. 

From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. 

We are a very ambitious organisation which has gone through transformational growth over the past five years. Alongside funding an existing programme of world-leading research, treatment and care, the Charity completed its largest capital appeal to date, successfully raising £70 million to build the Oak Cancer Centre at the hospital’s Sutton site, which opened in summer 2023. 

With one in two of us expected to develop some form of cancer, it is essential that we go even further in our fundraising efforts to support the essential work of The Royal Marsden. Therefore, we are delivering our most ambitious strategy yet, that will see us raising at least £215m over the 5-year period.

The Charity is committed its biggest fundraising appeal to date, for a new major development project in Chelsea. There is also an extensive portfolio of engaging projects outside of the capital appeals that help to support all aspects of the hospital’s work to improve the lives of cancer patients.

Job purpose

As Philanthropy Manager you will manage a portfolio of existing major donors and lead on building relationships with new potential supporters to secure 5 and 6 figure donations. You will support the Head of Philanthropy and Special Events, other members of the RMCC leadership team, to explore their networks, facilitate introductions and secure gifts.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional to join the Living Wage Foundation team as an Events Manager. You will be responsible for developing, delivering, and supporting the team with innovative events to promote the Living Wage movement, support the existing employer network, increase public support for fair pay and encourage Living Wage accreditation.

You will be responsible for our annual Champion Awards ceremony and organising parliamentary events, roundtables and webinars for our network of employers and beyond, as well as providing strategic oversight of events at our annual Living Wage Week in November where we celebrate Living Wage Employers nationwide with multiple events.

The ideal candidate would be an energetic and organised events manager, with strong project management skills, the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders internally and externally and the skills to establish strong relationships. They would have experience running online and in-person events with clear objectives and connecting them to organisational strategy.

This post will be joining a Communications team that spans events, media, digital communications and research, with colleagues based across the UK with monthly in-person team meetings. We are looking for a dynamic Events Fundraising Officer to help recruit and support our fundraisers, assist with the organisation of events and help us to develop this significant income stream.

Working alongside the Challenge Events Manager, the Events Fundraising Officer is instrumental in every step of delivering well-managed, fun and safe events for our corporate partners and event participants, as well as ensuring the fundraising success of each event.

Excellent communication and people skills will be essential as you will play a key role in building up relationships with the clients, the participants and their supporters. Furthermore, you will be involved in the whole process of event organisation, including developing the event, preparing the resources, helping with logistics, maintaining accurate records, reporting and banking and thanking. 

The Fundraising Officer must be self-motivated, well organised, able to multi-task, a strong administrator, a fantastic team player, have excellent inter-personal skills and enjoy being outdoors.  Paid or voluntary experience in a fundraising environment is essential.  This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to take the next step in their career, with plenty of scope to develop your skills and experience within a supportive team. Whilst the role is home-based you must live in the South West to ensure easy access for in-person meetings.

This is a new and pivotal role at RMJ, created to build our individual giving programme from the ground up. You’ll take a small but committed base of supporter donors and grow it into a thriving, sustainable income stream. As our Individual Giving Fundraiser, you will lead on digital and direct marketing appeals, engagement campaigns, and supporter journeys that inspire people to take action  - whether that’s making a gift, leaving a legacy, taking on a fundraising challenge, or becoming a long-term advocate for our work.

We’re looking for someone with at least three years’ fundraising experience within a campaigning organisation, charity, membership body, or political party. You’ll bring the creativity and drive needed to start a programme almost from scratch, alongside practical experience delivering fundraising across both digital and print channels. You’ll know how to engage different audiences, motivate them to give, and build strong relationships over time.

You’ll also be someone who loves working with data - using it to understand donor behaviour, analyse performance, spot trends, and make smart, evidence-based decisions. By combining data, strong storytelling, and supporter insight, you’ll help us deepen donor engagement and increase income to fuel RMJ’s mission.
